1 Truck-Kun

"Please please please hit me truck-kun," I sang in my pajamas.

I used google-san to search for images of truck-kun in front of me. Pictures of different kinds of trucks appeared upon my eyes. There was heavy moving truck-kun with the typical white color, unblemished from any dirt or stains. There was also transporter truck-kun for delivering goods such as food for grocery stores, but the color was grey.

There were also small truck-kun toys! Wow, truck-kun was very popular! I wondered when I would get hit by truck-kun someday. My heart went doki doki from the thought as I got a piece of long pocky out from the package.

Everyone knew truck-kun was a medium to transport people to different fantasy worlds. It became a popular genre called, 'isekai'. In the isekai world, those people called to the land would eventually become heroes and become legends of their adventures.

It was a shut-in's dream to leave this nasty world. I am not bragging, but I am a bishoujo, a beautiful young girl of fifteen years of age. My straight black hair is overgrown to the point it goes past my hips and my bright blue eyes attract attention everywhere. It has been a while since I have left my room.

More like over two years. Bishoujos have so many expectations to act as the perfect girl in front of other people. They can't get bad grades, game all night, or be an otaku. Society was scary since people always expected me to follow my predecessors.

I had to put makeup on to hide that I was gaming all night on my phone. I also had to smile all the time even though it hurt a lot. I decided to retire from my role and stay inside my room that included a bathroom and bedroom connected by a single door.

Ever since then, I nagged my loli younger sister to fetch me some junk food on her route coming back from school. My loli younger sister is Mili. Mili is cute with her cute voice that hits my heart with scorn, "oneee-san, you owe me twenty dollars this time."

Everyone knows how lolis are justice. I pulled out some wads of twenty-dollar bills into her hands so she could continue bringing me more packages of pocky. My supply was running low lately since the convenience stores didn't restock them often enough.

I shut my door and turned off my lights as usual after she left. My room was messy as usual, clothes littering the ground, cans of soda piled up into a pyramid, and cables and plugs slithering around like snakes. But, this was the life of a shut-in.

My school uniform was the only clothes neatly hanged up in the back of the closet. It was a typical sailor uniform colored in blue and white. I kept it to use for cosplay later on since school uniforms were part of otaku culture.

The screen beeped as I lost another game of an RPG game. I was getting bored of this. I was level 270 from playing day and night, but the monsters were too powerful. Maybe it was time to switch on the news to see what was happening in the real world.

I turned on the TV screen and pressed the remote control to go to the news channel. A pretty anchor appeared in a formal suit while displaying a picture of a truck. Wow, truck-kun was popular enough to make it on the local news!

This truck was grey and old, carrying pieces of furniture, making it heavier than usual. It was very different from the pictures google-san showed me. The anchor started speaking as I listened attentively.

"Today is the fifth incident where a person who has not left their home in years has been hit by a truck. The victim was a high school student who was going out to the local convenience store during the early morning around 5 AM."

Hmmm. What a lucky person. Instead of making my loli sister go out to buy me my supply of manga, should I try going out this time? I wanted to get hit of truck-kun too TT.

The sky was bright and sunny like a typical summer day. I squinted as I wasn't used to sunlight from the blinds covering my room. I walked into the wide roads where cars and trucks usually passed by.

I could have used the sidewalk, but I was determined to get hit by truck-kun today. It was strange how the roads were this empty in the middle of the day. I pulled out my phone to confirm the spot where most accidents happened with truck-kun.

I stood in the middle of the road and smiled as I blocked the way. There had to be a truck coming about anytime now! This lane was made for trucks only.

"Come at me!" I yelled when a truck headed towards my direction.
