1 CHAPTER 1
C A S S I D Y
You know those moments, when you get woken up before you wanted and start planning ways to murder whoever it was that dared wake you up? That was how I was feeling on this dreaded morning. I listen to the people talking outside of my bedroom door, trying to figure out who it was, whilst planning ways to murder whoever it is that woke me up. I manage to come up with a few ideas:
1) Push them down the stairs
2) Push them into a tank of sharks
3) Strangle them with my bare hands
I know, number 2 is a bit much.
"Just knock and make her get up. Her stuff should all be packed by now" I hear my dad say before walking off. I frantically grab my phone and check the date. April 17th. Moving day. I sit in bed wondering how I forgot about this dreaded day, but the thoughts are short lived. A knock at my bedroom door quickly pulls me back into reality.
"Um yeah. I will be there in a second!" I shout as I jump out of bed and run to the mirror to check my appearance. My hair was a mess and my pink silk pjs were all twisted. After taking a minute to sort myself out, I opened the door.
When I tell you that the most gorgeous human being I had ever laid eyes on was standing there staring at me, I mean it. He was tall, at least 6''1 and had beautifully tanned skin. He looked like a Greek god with his beautiful forest green eyes staring into mine, clearly getting annoyed at me just standing there and staring.
"Are you going to stand there are drool all day or are you going to start moving things?" the mystery person asked, pulling me out of my trance. "This is the exact reason I didn't want a sister" he continued. Wow, okay.
"Hey, having a sister isn't that bad. And anyway you don't see me jumping for joy at the thought of having a brother now do you?" I sassed back, storming out of my room and into the bathroom across the hall. Ugh, what a prick.
"Oi Josh, come and help me with this room" i hear the prick say before I can close the bathroom door. I take my hair out of the messy bun it had been in all night and turn the shower on. The last relaxing shower I will ever have.
It was at that dreaded moment that I realised that i had left my phone in my room and would have to walk back into my room to get it. How am i meant to have a shower without the beautiful voices of 5 Seconds of Summer? I threw the door open and sprinted into my room to get my phone so I could get my daily dose of my boys. However when I walked in to my sanctuary, yes I call my room my sanctuary, I didn't expect to see the idiot from earlier and another boy, about a year or so younger, messing about on my phone.
The new boy was also tall but an inch or so smaller than the first. His eyes were a gorgeous brown colour and they looked at me with amusement.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!".
"You have the most basic password on your phone. Anyway cute lock screen" he laughed. My lock screen was a cheesy picture i took of my best friend Holly's puppy last year. It was just so cute.
"Just give me my phone and we can go our separate ways without anyone getting hurt" I spat at him.
"Awe how cute. Well you're just going to have to come and get it" he laughed. Can this guy get any worse? I walked over to him, attempting to take my phone out of his hands, but he just moved his hand above his head knowing that, with my short height, I would never be able to reach. The second boy lifted his hand, plucked my phone out of the pricks hand and held it out for me to take.
"There you go. I'm Josh by the way, Jakes younger brother" Josh smiled.
"So that's the pricks name" I mumbled under my breath, but my the looks on their faces, I think they heard me. Whoops.
"Thanks, now if you will excuse me I have a date with Luke, Ashton, Calum and Michael" I smiled and walked off to take my shower. This could be a long day.

"Ah Cassidy, welcome to the land of the living" My father joked as I walked into the kitchen.
"Morning Dad" i said, kissed him on the cheek and walked over to the key holder to fetch my car keys.
"Going somewhere" dad asked, "You know you have to help moving everything out of your room".
"I need to make a quick trip to target, there's still a few things i need to get" I explained.
"Well why don't you take the boys with you. I'm sure they could be quite helpful and you could use the time to bond" dad smiled. I knew that he wanted me to start getting along with them and start 'bonding' but I didn't know he would ask so soon.
"Okay, sure whatever. But if they aren't down and by my car in 5 minutes then I'm going alone" I chuckle, walking towards the front door. I made sure to wear a comfy outfit today, knowing that I would have to do a lot of moving things around and exercise. So I went with a pair of grey shorts, white Nike sports bra, grey cardigan and my grey dance trainers.
I grabbed my keys and phone and headed out to my prized possession. My baby pink jeep. Dad had brought me it for my 17th birthday 6 months ago and I couldn't of been happier.
"Nice car you got. Wasn't expecting you to have a Jeep" Jake laughed before climbing into the passenger seat.
"What did you expect?" I asked offended. "Actually don't answer that" I quickly added.
"Ugh. I hope you're not as annoying as your brother" I said to Josh who had just reached the car.
"Don't worry, I'm nothing like Jake, I'm actually likeable" he laughs and then climbs into the back of the car.
"Let's just get this over with shall we. I have things I need to do" Jake mutters as I get in the car and start the engine.
"Well then you shouldn't have agreed to come" I sigh before pulling out of the drive way and towards my local mall. As I'm driving, my phone went off telling me that I had a text.
"Who the hell is 'bubbles'?" Jake laughs picking up my phone.
"None of your business" I replied.
"Well whoever it is has messaged you asking to meet up at the mall, asap" Jake said.
"Just message back and tell her I will be there. Oh and tell her to bring Minnie" I laugh.
"Whatever you need princess" Jake smirks.
"Shut up " I sigh, pulling into a parking bay before cutting the engine. "Let's get this over with".

Walking out of the 3rd shop that I had dragged the boys around, I spotted my blonde best friend and her adorable puppy.
"Hey Cass" Holly says walking over to me.
"Hey Holly, and hello my cute little baby" I coo at the puppy sitting in her arms.
"Uh hello, are you not going to introduce us to your very attractive friend" Jake asks, a smirk prominent on his face.
"Holly meet my new step brothers, Jake and Josh Davis" I laugh.
"Wow okay, I didn't know you would have two very sexy step brothers" Holly smirks at me, before checking both out the boys out.
"Holly no. They are out of bounds" I laugh, knowing my best friend too well.
"Not to break up this, whatever this is, but Cassidy we really need to go. We have what you need, so let's leave" Jake huffs before turning around and walking away. I turn to Josh, pleading with him to negotiate with his brother, but obviously my puppy dog eyes didn't work.
"Sorry Cass. When he is in one of these moods there is no use arguing with him" Josh says before following after his brother leaving myself and Holly alone.
"I'm really sorry Holly. I have to go. But I will see you at practise tomorrow?" I questioned.
"It's okay. Could you possibly give me a ride in the morning?" Holly demands.
"Of course" I reply, hugging her. We said our goodbyes and parted ways. Now back to the idiot who stole my car keys and walked off.

The next morning I woke up in my new room. The room was beautiful, with simple white walls and plenty of space. I had a brand new kings size bed, with baby pink bedding and two pictures on the wall above my bed. I was also blessed with my own bathroom and a walk in closet.
"Morning sweetie, sleep well?" my dad asked as i walked into the kitchen.
"Yeah it was great, it's so nice to have my own bathroom as well" i smiled, grabbing myself a granola bar and then grabbing my car keys. "I'm heading out now Dad" I said as I turned to walk out of the kitchen.
"Cassidy, it's 7am on a Sunday, where are you going?" Josh joked looking up from his phone.
"I have dance practice and its like an hours drive to the studio. Plus i have to pick Holly up on the way. We have a big competition coming up next week" I replied.
"But why go to a studio that is an hour away?".
"Because of its amazing teachers and reputation. We win a lot of comps" i say proudly.
"Well have fun. What time will you be back? I was thinking about going out for a family meal later" Dad says.
"I should be back by 11 Dad. Practice is only an hour and a half" i replied.
"Good. Right have fun then" Dad smiled before looking back at the paper in his hand. I grab my car keys and head for the door. I put on my white high top converse to match the pink joggers and cropped jumper that i decided on for practice today. Along with my Calvin Klein bralette.

"Wow! Practice has really killed you today hasn't it?" Our friend Elouise laughs at Holly and I. We were currently laying in a heap on the floor. Elouise was the last friend to complete our trio. With her short brown hair, and long legs, Elouise was stunning. And just as mental as me and Holly.
"I need my bed, and i need it now" Holly groans, causing me and El to laugh.
"I should probably get Holly home" I say to Elouise. "Plus i have a family meal with my new step family later" I add.
"I have to go to a mates anyway. I'm meant to be meeting the new stepsister that is apparently going to ruin his life" She replied.
"Well have fun. And tell me all about it later!" I tell her before i walk off to grab mine and Holly's bags and leave the studio, with a miserable Holly trailing behind me.
After a forty minute drive, in which Holly decided that she was going to serenade me but instead ended up bursting my ear drums, i pull up in front of Holly's house.
"Have fun later. Oh and tell me all about Mr Grump when you get home" Holly winks.
"I doubt he will even turn up. He doesn't seem like the type of person who would want to sit through this meal" I laughed. But i mean who could blame him. He was being asked to sit and have a meal with people that he doesn't really know, that are now going to become his family.
"Well if he does, tell me how it goes" she laughs before climbing out of my car and leaving me to make the journey home.
I pulled up outside the house 20 minutes later to see 3 other cars parked around the drive.
"What the hell" i whisper to myself as i get out of the car.
"Speak of the devil" i hear someone say before 5 people turn around and look right at me.
"Cassidy?" Elouise asks confused.
"El? What are you doing here?" i asked, equally as confused.
"Wait! You two know each other?" Josh asks.
"Cassie is my best friend" Elouise replies.
"Elouise is my best friend" I say at the same time as El.
"Well this isn't awkward at all" i muttered. Little did i know, there was worse to come.
