8 Transitions Part 3 : Black and White Fang

After meeting Blake and Ghira, Jaune's clone waited until he could get alone with the pair, and confessed promptly decided to come clean with them about everything "Mr Belladonna, I have important information for you, but I couldn't say it until we were alone."

Presently the three of them were in a small house in Mistral, where the White Fang was preparing for another protest. Ghira genuinely had assumed that it was coinsidence that brought Jaune to him, but now he was curious. He glanced at Blake a moment, then looked at Jaune again "You have something to say young man?""Blake has a right to be here. What I have to say is relevent to her. I'm not someone that will hide things from relevent parties." Jaune reassured Ghira "First off, I am a ninja, I can use a special type of energy called chakra to do many things. One of the things I can do is transform myself." he then formed a seal "Release"

As he said that, his transformation ended, and his black hair returned to blond, and his cat ears were gone. Seeing this surprised both Blake and Ghira. "Transformation Jutsu" Jaune said while forming anoth seal and returning to his faunus form "I want no lies between us Mr. Belladonna. My intentions are good. I am seriously here to help Blake to prepare. Unfortunately, she has a difficult destiny ahead of her, so I'm going to do what I can to help. There are some troubles she'll be subjected too, which can be avoided entirely if I help."

"You...have certainly gotten my attention. What can you tell me about this chakra?" Ghira asked with a fair bit of confusion. He had heard of ninja's before, but he'd never heard of them using this off energy.

"You are probably thinking that other people who call themselves ninja's do not use chakra." Jaune guessed out loud, and waited until Ghira nodded in confirmation before continuing "You see, people who can use chakra are very rare. There are two ways one can use chakra. First they can be born with it, or second, they can consume a rare chakra fruit. Unfortunately, it takes a master of wood release ninjutsu to actually grow a tree capable of bearing one single chakra fruit, and it takes two years for the fruit to gather energy and gain that power. As luck would have it, I was born with the ability to use Chakra, and I have mastered wood release. One of my clones has started growing chakra fruits, so in around two years, I'll be able to give one to Blake."

"You said Blake has some kind of destiny?" Ghira asked, feeling concerned for his dughter.

"Well, in the past I have used the excuse that my eyes are special and can see parts of the future, but the truth is that when my soul was waiting to come by bown, I gained access to something called the StellarWeb, and I was able to view my entire life before it happened." Jaune explained to Ghira matter-of-factly "After seeing the kind of world I was to be born into, I took advantage of the fact that the lazy gods had created an automated process for Reincarnation and I reprogrammed it to retain my memories of my pre-existance, as well as to give myself chakra and wood release. Any advantage I can get to avoid an apocalyptic situation."Daddy, what is Apoclyptic?" Blake asked with confusion."Before I continue, Mr Belladonna, can I get your word that you wont tell anyone about it? The information I have would incite panic if people knew, and panic would draw in the Grimm." Jaune requested of the older Faunus.

"Blake, it might be time for you to go to bed." Ghira said to his daughter "Oh, alright." Blake headed off to the bedroom and Ghira looked at Jaune "You have my word."

"I don't know if he's appeared before you or not, but there is a bull Faunus named Adam Taurus, who was Blake's first crush in the information I observed on the StellarWeb. He is not a good person, though he hid it well and manipulated Blake for a time. You see, in the near future, Sienna Khan will form her own faction within the White Fang and will use violence to achieve her goals. That, I am sad to say, cannot be preventde at this point, and eventually, after failing to convince her to change her path, you stepped down as the head of the White Fang, and Sienna officially took charge."And what were you dsying about this Adam?" Ghira asked."Adam, who had been manipulating Blake subtly, convinced her that you and Mrs. Belladonna were abandony a noble fight because you were cowards." Jaune admitted simply "I guess you could call it the stupidity of a girl in love. She turned a blind eye to all the 'accidents' that occured when Adam was on missions and innocent bystanders kept getting hurt or killed, because she wanted to believe him that they were just accidents, and that such accidents were an unfortunate nevessity because the cause was just. Blake, however, could not delude herself to believe in his lies forever, so she was killed with regret, certain that you and Mrs. Kali would never forgive her for the cruel words she said before she left."

Ghira clenched his hands into fists when he heard those things, that his daughter had been subjected to such things.

"You are correct to assume that you and Mrs Kali would have forgiven Blake, and when she was later forced to come see you, you did forgive her. Heck, you'd forgiven her pretty much immediately and were ready to welcome her home immediately, but Adam shattered her self-confidence, so she could not believe in that." Jaune walked over to a chair and took a seat on it "In her shattered mental state, all that Blake knew that she could due was try to make amends for her turning a blind eye to Adam's attrocities, so she went to Beacon aiming to become a Huntress, and that is where I would have originally met her, as a classmate and leader of TEAN JNPR. We started the same year, with Blake joining Team RWBY. Our two teams were as close as any people could be, and we went through a lot together, even got sucked up into the destiny that I told you about. Our two teams were the only ones in the end that were able to deal with Salem, the Queen of the Grimm."

"Queen of the Grimm?" Ghira was absolutely stunned by that.Jaune nodded "Indeed. She is conditionally immortal. Under the right circumstances she can be made mortal. That's where Team RWBY and Team JNPR came in. We eventually managed to make her mortal and dealt with her. I am divising methods to accomplish that again with less time and fewer casualties, but that's still a work in progress, so I'll shelf that topic for now." Jaune said plainly to Ghira "Any questions before I explain Adam's connection to Salem?"Ghira merely shook his head "No, please continue.""Very well." Jaune agreed "under Sienna Khan, Adam became the head of the Vale branch of the White Fang, and in that role Adam was approached by a group of humans that worked for the Queen of the Grimm, with a plan to kill the headmaster of Beacon, destroy the school, destroy the CCT tower, and to sneak Grimm into the school and into the city of Vale. As you can imagine, a great many people died."

"Sienna would never condone that!" Ghira protested. He knew her at least that much."Right. And as a result, Sienna demanded Adam come to Mistral and personally answer to her for what he'd done. Adam did come, as she requested, but he came not to answer for his deeds, he came for a coup de tat. He executed Sienna and took control of the White Fang, and started preparing to repeat the attrocity committed upon Beacon and Vale upon Haven and Mistral." Jaune looked again towards Ghira "Blake was forced to go home, then, even think that you'd never forgive her. She needed to raise up a faunus army to protect Haven, and that's exactly what she did."

"This is pretty hard to believe." Ghira admitted to Jaune "Do you have any proof?"

Jaune then revealed an audio recording provided by his system, and the first thing Ghira heard from it was his own voice calling "Blake" and then he heard the sound footsteps on the recoding as someone move.

The voice of a young woman was heard "Humans didn't do this... We did this... Faunus... We did this to ourselves...We are just as capable of hate and violence as the humans, but I don't think that any of us would jump at the chance to point that out...So why are we letting Adam do it for us!?" the young woman seemed to be talking to a crowd as some whispers were barely heard at this point "By doing nothing and staying silent, we let others speak and act in our place...And if we're not proud of the choices they make, then we have no one to blame but ourselves...THIS is the message Adam Taurus will bring to the world if no one stops him...But we can stop him! You have o understand that all of you are looking for simple answers to a very complicated problem...And I can't give that to you...I don't know how to make hate go away. I don't! But I know that this kind of violence is NOT the solution...I understand that to ask you to leave your homes and protect Haven Academy is asking you to put your lives at risk...But that's what's at stake...So I'm going, and I'll stand by myself if I have too."

"I'll stand with you!" another girls voice was heard. "If..." she seemed a bit frightened "If you'd have me."

"Isn't that the White Fang girl?" a mans voice asked.

"I thought she hated the Belladonna's?" a female voice was heard commenting

"You're not going anywhere!" An angry sounding man said.

"Let her come." the young woman from before, apparently Blake, answered simply

"You're just going to forgive her?" the angry man asked "After everything she did?!"

"I am." Blake insisted.

There was what sounded like approval that Ghira recognized as also from himself, then more walking.

"What does she think she's doing?" The angry guy asked.

"She's learned a lesson that evaded me until I was much older" Ghira said with pride "That there is strength in forgiveness."

Following that came the sounds of various people volunteering before the sound ended.

Ghira was dumbfounded by the audio recording, and definitely recognized his own voice.

Jaune chuckled "Now, as for what I want. I want to be Blakes partner, to train her for the battles to come, the ones that cannot be avoided, and to help her avoid whatever pain I can. As that recording demonstrated, she eventually overcame it, but it was almost toolate. If we do this, we canwork together and defeat Salem."

Following that conversation, Ghira and Jaune came to an agreement, and at Ghira's request Jahn agreed not to tell Blake about Salem until she was older, but he did tell her all about Team REBY, and about her friends who were like sisters to her. Over the years, Blake grew more and more excited about when she could go to Beacon and meet them.

It was 9 years later that Sienna Khan officially took charge of the White Fang, though her faction had been acting violently well before that, ignoring Ghira's orders. Jaune was basically like a brother to Blake, her best friend and her sparring partner, as he had desired. As a result of her meeting Jaune, Blake never teamed up with Adam, as she already had a partner who did not manipulate her into lashing out against her parents, and she left the White Fang when Ghira and Kali did, as did Jaune.

Even without the feelings of needing to atone for anything, Blake planned to enter Beacon and become a huntress, and to be a good role model and helping people. This time, she was determined to proudly go there as a Faunus and to not hide her heritage.

As a result of them now possessing free time, Jaune became a real taskmaster, training her even harder then he did while they were in the White Fang together. Years previously, when others were given a chakra fruit, Blake was given one as well, just like he'd told Ghira he'd planned to do, though he hadn't taught her too many jutsus prior to that point, just the three academy ones. Now that they had free time, he used chakra paper to determine her chakra affinity was wind and her lessons began in earnest.

Adam Taurus had been thoroughly rejected by the White Fang when Ghira commanded it, due to what he'd heard of the boy from Jaune, but Sienna had let Adam into her faction anyway. When Ghira left, he was sure to advise Sienna that Adam was very troubled and that Ghira hadn't trusted him to remain stable.

Further, Ghira pointed out that Adam was taking personal actions over the years against the Schnee Dust Company, that treated their Faunus employees very well, all because of a personal grudge. As a child, Adam was branded by an employee of the SDC under orders of Jacques Schnee, who held the position a couple years while the founder was ill.

In the previous nine years, Nicholas Schnee was back in charge, the SDC was treating all its employees, including the faunus, very well, and the man that gave the order that harmed Adam, Jacques Schnee, has long since been removed from his position in disgrace.

Sienna agreed to speak to Adam about it before they parted, yet Ghira ended up hearing that Adam still became the head of the Vale Branch of the White Fang not long after that.

Blakes training for the five years before she went to Beacon included Ninjutsu and generic combat. Jaune also bestowed upon her a Zanpakuto, though he had no idea whether or not she'd be able to develop a Shikai, since his system only let him control the potential of his own Zanpakuto. Everyone else that was given one just had to train and wait and see.
