4 Many Small Adventures (Part 3 of 3)
In Atlas, the early winter was even colder then in the other Kingdoms, but that did not stop a certain three year old boy from his current task. He headed into a very high quality hospital, and approached the receptionist "I'm here to see Nicholas Schnee."
"Identification?" The receptionist asked, looking dumbfounded at the little boy with strange eyes that had just come in.
"Does this work?" Jaune asked, creating and displaying the famous glyphs that were unique to the Schnee family. Oh course, Jaune was not a Schnee, he only had this semblance thanks to his system, but the receptionist didb't know that.
"Y...yes young sir." she was instantly nervous and decided to personally show him the way "Come with me" she instructed him
Jaune nodded and followed the woman. She appeared to be in the area of 18 to 21 years old if he had to guess, and had a brautiful figure amf long blond hair in a ponytail. In his previous life, he was a 21 year old computer programmer, so internally he could really appreciate her beauty, but in his current life he was three years old, so he needed to find girls closer to his age, and he had already selected two in particular to focus on. One of the two was none other then Weiss Schnee.
To give her a better life, Jaune had studied medjutsu focused heavily on one goal, which was saving Nicholas Schnee's life. At present, he'd spent more then a year in a coma, and without any interference, the older Schnee would die in just over 6 months. Once he was brought into Nicholas Schnee's room, Jaune asked to be alone with him, and the receptionist hastily retreated to her desk, afraid of upsetting a member of the Schnee family.

In a security room, one of the guards' attention was drawn to the camera in Nicholas Schnee's room "What's that kid doing?" he saw as was on his little knees on the bed with his hands over the old mans lungs. He started to pull back a bit and as his hands rose, black, murky liquid followed his hands and he deposited the disgusting water in a bucket.
He then created another ball of water in each of his hands and inserted it into Nicholas Schnee's lungs and washed away the disease and extracted it.
Not knowing what the heck was happening, the two guards rushed to Nicholas Schnee's room to investigate.

Due to spending so much time in the mines and being too close to too much unrefined dust for too much time, Nicholas Schnee fell ill, with the illness in particular ravaging his lungs. With all the tech that Atlas had, they could only just barely keep him alive. Or rather with all the tech that Jacques Schnee had permitted them to use.
Anyway, Jaune could have just used medjutsu, in particular Iryou Ninjutsu: Chiyu - Sandan Jutsu, and gradually healed Nicholas, but that would take far longer, and would require more chakra, so instead he used the method Sakura used to Heal Kankuro in the Gaara Retrieval Arc, to get rid of the worst of the disease, and he followed up with the aforementioned medjutsu to finish off healing Nicholas as the two guards charged in.
Jaune looked at the guards and tilted his head in confusion "Why are you here? I asked nicely to be alone."
"What are you doing you little brat?" the elder of the two guards demanded.
"Healing him." Jaune answered matter-of-factly "How are you feeling Mr. Schnee?"
"He is in a coma, he c..." the guard started to protest.
"Not too bad, surprisingly. Not good either, but better then I've felt in years." Nicholas sighed.
"Im...possible..." The guard was absolutely flabbergasted.
"I came to heal you for a reason Mr Schnee." Jaune said to the old man that was struggling still to open his eyes "Your son-in-law cares only for money. The way he's running the Schnee Dust Company, the Faunus have really started to hate him, so your legacy is in jeopardy. The man is a monster. There is nothing wrong with pursuing wealth until you reach the point where you are essentially sacrificing your soul for it. He has no conscience, only ambition. He's painting a target not just on his back, but also on your daughters and your grandchildrens."
Nicholas finally properly opened his eyes and looked at Jaune "Who are you, young man?"
"My name is Jaune. I am just one guy out to save the world." Jaune introduced himself "Redeeming your company before Jacques Schnee makes things worse. I want peace and acceptance between humans and faunus, and that son-in-law of yours, he's antithetical towards my goals. Also, he'll destroy Weiss's life, and I can't allow that. She does not deserve that."
"My granddaughter?" Nicholas asked with surprise.
"I'm a fan of Weiss." Jaune admitted to Nicholas "These eyes of mine are special. I've seen a bit of the future, and of her pain. She will have the voice of an angel." he chuckled "But that was before I saved you. You were going to die in around 6 months if I hadn't stepped in. The ball is in your court, Mr. Schnee, help me to help Weiss, I beg you. Take back the S.D.C."

Rinoa sat on a windowsill in her new bedroom, contemplating things.
Summer Rose spent nearly 3 weeks back home on Patch before she had another mission to go on, so Rinoa had that much time to settle in, and she quite liked Yang and Ruby. Like Jaune had said, Summer was trustworthy, and had acted as a mother to her since she'd been brought here to Patch.
Rinoa was absolutely shocked when she found out that she was near Vale, considering they'd travelled all the way from Mistral in an instant, Summer cautioned her about not talking about that, though, and she had obeyed, afraid that she might be sent back to Haven if her previous identity was found out.
Yang and Ruby also took a liking to Rinoa, which she was glad about. She recalled what Jaune had said about them being destined heroes. Two years ago Rinoa would have laughed at the very idea of destiny and heroes, but now she had seen enough strangeness in the world to accept it.
Rinoa could not help bet wonder what Jaune was up too, After the name he gave to her, which she found to be beautiful, Rinoa had developed her first crush.
With a sigh, Rinoa went to bed in the bed next to Yangs bed. Yang was sleeping peacefully and looked very cute. The girl was quite rambunctious when she was awake, so she could appreciate this side of the girl as well.

Unbeknownst to Rinoa, of course, one of Jaune's clones was always nearby. He still had a clone watching Summer, one was watching Rinoa, Ruby and Yang, one was in Vacuo, with Neo, one was keeping an eye on Amber, one was in Mistral with Blake and the White Fang, one was in Atlas with Nicholas Schnee, helping him to take back control of his company following his miraculous recovery, and three were at the wilderness base, responsible for taking care of and training Cinder, Emerald and Mercury.
After saving Cinder's fathers life, and exposing her step-mothers attempt at murdering him, her step-mother and her two step-sisters were thrown out, and the process started to convince Cinders father to let her come train with him. If the end, he agreed, but asked that his daughter come to visit him in Argus, so she was brought home once a month to spend a weekend with her father.
Cinder never complained, instead she was driven to seek greater strength to impress Jaune, whom she was grateful towards. She was not anywhere near broken, like her original version, and her motivation for power was completely different. As a result, Jaune finalized his decision to select Cinder fall as the next successor to the Spring Maiden's powers, though he had not told her about the maidens yet..

After Rinoa fell asleep, the window mysteriously opened a bit, and a lot of rose petals came in and soon took the form of Jaune, in the six year old state that Rinoa had met before. As for why he was here now, it was the opportune moment. Taiyang was out front talking to Qrow, and Summer was off on a mission, so he had a little time. He did not have long, but long enough to quickly attach a Flying Thunder God seal under Rinoa's bed, on the bottom side of it where it would not be likely to be found.
The reason was simple. If any threat came to Rinoa, Yang, or Ruby in the house, he wanted a speedy way to get to them.
Just like Rinoa had thought that Yang was adorable as she was going to bed, Jaune also thought that Rinoa was adorable as well.
Well, with his job done here for now, he used mokuton to close the window again and then Flying Thunder God to depart.
