2 Many Small Adventures (Part 1 of 3)

A young man with short blond hair was walking the streets of Mistral, looking around cautiously as he went. The young man, who looked to be around 15 or 16 years old, was Jaune Arc. This particular Jaune had taken the form of an older version of himself with normal eyes using the transformation jutsu, much like he was in season 1 of the show.

It had only been 2 weeks since this clone set out from his home with Mistral as his destination, looking for a specific person. Thanks to his system having a connection to the StellarWeb, the clone was able to know exactly where she was, and followed the trail straight to her, eventually finding a decrepit house and opened the door and stepped inside, giving a mocha-skinned little girl a scare when she saw him. The girl was about 7 or 8 from looking at her, so she was older then him, but thanks to his transformation jutsu he looked older.

"It's okay, I wont hurt you." Jaune told the girl with a charming smile "Dear girl, you're almost skin and bones, you must be hungry, right?"

The green haired girl nervously nodded and took a step back from him "I'll tell you what. I'll prepare a nice meal for you and you can try to relax. We'll talk more after you've had a proper meal." Jaune reassured her.

The green haired girl said nothing, she neither approached Jaune nor fled, she just watched him, trying to be brave.

This girl was none other then Emerald, the future Thief that had grown up alone on the streets of Mistral, originally only to be rescued once she met Cinder. This time, however, Jaune decided to do the rescuing.

Jaune headed to the kitchen confidently..

"There's no power." Emerald warned him.

"That's fine." Jaune told Emerald and used his system to take out and replace the stove with one that ran on propane. His system providing him with things from othr worlds sure had it's uses.

When the old stove disappeared and was replaced by a brand new one in an instant, Emerald was shocked. She was going to point out that there was still no power, but before the words came out she saw him lift the top of the stove and he created a little flame at his fingertip and successfully let the pilot light, then he started turning on all four burners.

Since it was rather cold inside, with the approach of winter, the appearance of the four little flames on the stove instinctively drew Emerald in closer, where she watched Jaune taking food seemingly out of nowhere, and beginning to prepare it for her.

The smell was great and Emerald felt like she'd never seen such delicious smelling and looking food in her life, but she was afraid to do anything other then just watching. The food, of course, was provided by his system, and was not restricted to just the worlds of RWBY, Naruto, and Bleach. While it proved difficult to incorporate the mechanics, abilities, and weapons from other worlds, he had far less difficulty incorporating more mundane items like food and beverages into his system.

All the dairy products he used in cooking came from the Pokemon World, high quality Miltank milk being used as the base, and was further imbued with magic from the system to be even higher quality. The 'pork' steaks that he made were actually orc meat, taken from 'Didn't I say to make my abilities average in the next life', which was absolutely delicious.

Every other food he conjured up had a similarly fantastic origin, and was both nutritious and delicious, so the smell he was creating was absolutely mouth-watering. Any hesitance that Emerald had was long forgotten by the time everything was prepared, and she came to stand right beside him and watched the food like a hawk.

Jaune conjured up some clean plates, glasses and utensils and gave them to Emerald carefully "Dinner will be ready soon, please go set the table for us."

"Yes sir!" Emerald said excitedly, her eyes seemingly filled with excitement at the prospect of eating food like this!

"Sir is unnecessary. You can call me Jaune." Jaune offered to her.

Emerald nodded in agreement and excitedly went to work setting the table while Jaune started removing the food from the stove and brought it to the table. To wash down the meal, Jaune procured a bottle of Chateau Romani, a milk from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. In the game, Chateau Romani even had the amazing effect of fully restored magic power and kept it completely full.

Unfortunately, it did not do the same effect for aura in this world, but from his own experimentation, it still had an effect on aura. It nearly doubled his amount of aura, and while it did not keep it completely full, he estimated that it increased his recovery rate to around 1000 percent. It was not quite as nutricious as miltalk mild was, but it's flavor was even better, so miltank products had their uses for cooking, and Chateau Romani was for drinking, since Chateau Romni sadly lost it's benificial buffs when used in cooking.

Once everything was on the table, Jaune invited Emerald to sit and eat her fill, and that was all she needed to here before she did exactly that.

They ate together in silence, and only after she was completely stuffed and couldn't take anothr bite did she again look at Jaune "My name is Emerald Sustrai."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Emerald. My name is Jaune Arc. And starting tomorrow, if you want, I'll begin training you, if you are willing to be my student." Jaune suggested to her. "You'll never have to worry about food again, and I'll make you strong."

Emerald seemed a bit cautious again "You aren't just taking me to a brothel, are you?" she seemed concerned about that, and from what he'd read about her background on the StellarWeb, he could not blame her.

"You appear to have no one. I will be leaving Mistral tomorrow, so if you want, you can come with me. I promise I have no intention of harming you or putting you in a bad place, but I wont force you to follow me either. It must be your choice.." Jaune insisted, hoping that she'd agree to come along with him.

Two days later, another of Jaune's clones was arriving at the city of Argus. He looked pretty much like a 16 year old Jaune, save for the fact that he had black hair and red eyes. This clone was seeking out none other then Cinder Fall. Thanks to StellarWeb, he knew just where to find her, and headed straight to the rather magnificent house that was to be Cinder's personal hell.

From what he read on the StellarWeb, her father had remarried after Cinder's mother died, only to die himself under questionable circumstances a few months later. The neighbors suspected that his new wife had killed him for his money, but there was never any proof, and following his death his widow was just so powerful that no one dared to question her, only looking out for their own interests.

Cinder, meanwhile, was treated terribly by her step-mother and her two step-sisters. Unlike in the story of Cinderella, no Prince Charming came and rescued Cinder, so eventually she ran away, and eventually found herself working for Salem.

The main reason why Jaune had acted so early was primarily because of Cinder. Her father was presently sick, and he was days away from dying without intervention. Jaune timed his arrival well, and found young Cinder in the front yard, looking sad. "Such a cute girl shouldn't look so sad. What is troubling you so much?" he asked her.

"I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." Cinder told him.

"Well then, my name is Jaune Arc, so I guess I'm not completely a stranger anymore." Jaune pointed out to her "So what is troubling you."

Cinder was not convinced, but needed to talk to someone, so she gave in "My daddy is sick. I think my step-mother poisoned him, but she wont take him to a doctor, says he can recover at home, but I fear he'll die."

Cinder looked to be around 7 years old, but even for that age she seemed well-spoken and intelligent. Even Jaune was impressed "Well, if he is poisoned, then maybe I can help" Jaune agreed and procured from his pocket a bottle with a single 'pill' in it.

In reality, the large pill was only a capsule that contained a Bezoar, taken from the Harry Potter universe, which was a natural cure for nearly all poisons.

He offered the bottle to Cinder and smiled "This contains a very special pill that can cure all types of poison as far as I know. This can save your father's life, but in exchange, I want you to become one of my students. Will you help me convince your father once he is better?"

"Student?" Cinder asked with suspicion.

"Indeed, I want to train you to be really strong and powerful like me." Jaune explained to her "I've already taken steps to recruit three others, but one more wont hurt."

"If you save my father, I'll do whatever you want. I just want that nasty woman to pay for what she's done." Cinder pledged, and accepted the bottle before rushing inside to her father.
