5 Ice Cream and Ice Queens

In a small cabin outside of Vacuo, one of Jaune's clones had taken up residence , bringing in an adorable 5 year old girl with long hair. The right half of her hair and her left eye were pink, while the left half of her hair and her right eye were brown.

Jaune's clone that was here presently took a form that looked like he was 5 years old as well. Eventually he wanted to bring Neo to join Cinder, Mercury and Emerald, but even though he'd came to her close to three months ago, they hadn't left yet, and with good reason.

Using Medjutsu, Jaune had repaired Neo's vocal cords, giving her the ability to speak, though she still struggled with it, and she preferred not to say anything at all. Jaune decided to tutor her and give her speech therapy before introducing her to the others, and after 3 months she was finally showing real progress.

Even Jaune was surprised by how the feisty Neopolitan became suddenly as timid as a mouse as soon as she was able to speak, but he remained with her, and was very supportive of her, and with him there and his system, she ate well and made it through the Winter just fine.

Because of a late winter storm, they ended up being stuck indoors during Neo's birthday up through the first thee days of fall, but now the day was beautiful, so Jaune and Neo were gathering up some things to go out for a picnic, and she was permitted a day off without having to worry about her training, eith in voice or speech training.

The thing that was very clear, though, was that in spite of being so much younger then she was when she met Torchwick, she seemed to have the same dependence upon Jaune that she had on Torchwick originally.

While Jaune hadn't really considered Neo a plausible option for a future romantic partner, this particular clone was having second thought. They'd spent three months together, and he felt very close to her, to the point where he was seriously considering training her here.

Since he had those thoughts, he'd even used the system to acquire a certain seed, and he plented it and used Mokuton to quickly have it grow up. It would now take two years, at which point it would bear a single chakra fruit, and once he had Neo eat it, he could begin teaching her ninjutsu.

He was committed to remaining by her side and seeing where their relationship would inevitably lead before he would even consider meeting up with his original or the other clones.

Just like in his previous life, the original Jaune did not want others to control his fate, his clones had the same personality. They did not want their original to be detached from their emotions a bit, so this clone stopped making clones and dispelling them, to have his own life for now.

Unbenownst to Jaune, many of his clones started valuing their independence a lot and stopped using clones to make frequest updates. The one that was growing closer with Neo was not the only one, but was one of four that drrmingly went rogue a bit,

The true Jaune was a bit preoccupied with other things to even think about it. He periodically used Stellarweb to look their way and make sure all was well, then went back to other things. This would be the way of things for the foreseeable future.

The real Jaune sat alone in his bedroom after a long day working around the house helping his mother. He plopped down onto the bed and willed his stats to come up.

His actions, or rather the actions of his clones, had led to sharp improvement to his aura and chakra totals, along with significant increase in his speed stat.

As he looked at his stats, he couldn't help but think that he looked really overpowered, but it wasn't as much as it appeared. Sure, early on he'd downloaded the knowledge for many different kinds of jutsu's into his brain, so they appeared on his stats, but just knowing them wasn't enough to use them. He still had to train his body to use each and every one of them!

It was a nifty shortcut, but he sadly lacked an instant mastery cheat. In order of priority, Jaune had traine Medjutsu, Mokuton, Fuinjutsu, Doton, and Suiton. He also trained in Katon just enough to create a single flame that could be useful while travelling.

Despite having Byakugan and Tenseigan, he hadn't trained them at all, so they were both basically far from the invincible monster that he aspired to become. Oh course, compared to other three and a half (almost) year olds, he was a monster, but not compared to monsters like Qrow Branwen or Tyrian Callows. In short, he needed to train a lot to make the most of his system, but he was also determined to save as many people as possible, and to assemble Cinder, Mercury, Emerald and Neo as a team that would help make a better future.

At least he had his Chateau Romani, which was the secret of his incredible aura development speed. He figured that by now he was probably around the level o Jaune from the end of the saga, which he'd read about on the StellarWeb, since he'd only seen through to Volume 7 before he died.

It took a bit over a month for Nicholas Schnee to seize back the reigns of the Schnee Dust Company, but with Jaune's help, he was able to succeed, after which Jacques Schnee had the priviledge of using the Schnee name rescinded, and Nicholas emboldened his daughter to toss out her now disgraced ex-husband.

Willow Schnee was depressed about it at first, but after she was shown what her ex-husband's ambition had almost done to their family snd to the rest of the woeld, she managed to recover.

With matters sorted out when it came to Jacques, Nicholas started inviting Jaune to come visit his granddaughers, and Jaune released Weiss's aura and started training Winter to use her semblance.

Technically he was quite a bit younger then Winter, but his use of glyphs was superior to hers. He encouraged Weiss to watch their training while trying to awaken her own semblance. By the end of his last two months coming to visit every day, Weiss had awakened her semblance and this clone was finally starting to grasp summoning. He was not quite there yet, but neither were Winter or Weiss. There was a long time before they would be 17 and head to Beacon.
