Episode 1 - I obtained the weakest class (1)

'Youth is an understatement of what is happening right now.'

Take a peek at the surroundings, for instance. They were all interacting like a single family in the classroom. Min-jun is getting along with his three friends and speaking all day about their life experiences. Seo-young spend most of her time studying, eating lunch with a friend, and going to karaoke after class.

'I'm so jealous! I hope to have such experience eventually.'

I'm Kim Woojin, and I'm 18 years old. As you can see, I'm an otaku loner who spends every free moment reading books and playing video games. My favorite saying is...

'No matter what I did, all I could see was black and white.' Nothing is altered or enhanced. Instead of wasting your time on frivolous things, how about giving me some thrills in life? '

Her teacher awakes from his thought.

'Instead of daydreaming, Kim Woojin-ssi, how about answering the question on the blackboard?'

In response, Kim Woojin nodded and moved toward the chalkboard. He provides a one-minute solution to all the challenging problems in contemporary physics. He then questioned her teacher.

'Teacher, may I return to my seat?' '

With a confused expression on her teacher's face, she tried to play tough and cover her humiliation. With a smile, she complimented him and remarked...

'As one would expect from Kim Woojin-ssi, being first in class is no laughing matter.'

Despite being an otaku loner, I was ranked first in the entire class. I've never forgotten my obligations as a Korean Institute Academy student. I was recommended by the principal of this institution for some personal reason.

Ding dong! The school rang the bell, signaling that it was time for us to leave. But first, Kim Woojin pays a visit to the principal's office and plays chess with him. Chairman Kim Dae-Jung, to be precise.

'How's it doing at school, Woojin?'

His grandpa stands directly in front of him, a fascinating old man with a calm manner and a friendly grin. He has lengthy white beard that reaches his neck, white handlebar mustaches, and white hair that is silver in color. He was at work; therefore he was dressed in a traditional black suit.

'Nothing amusing happened, and everything remained the same. I'm so bored! '

His grandpa was surprised by his grandson's response and laughed at his silly grandson who always found excuses to make him laugh despite the fact that his grandpa is always busy at work and only visits his grandson's well-being on a regular basis.

'My beloved grandchild, I have a surprise gift for you!' Happy birthday in advance...I hope you discover the answer to your wish eventually.'

At this point, he realizes that everything his grandfather says right now has a significant meaning. However, Kim Woojin smiles the widest and temporarily forgets the subliminal message.

'Thank you, Grandpa!'

Kim Woojin exited the principal's office, eager to open the mystery box given upon him by his grandfather.

Ring…Ring! When his grandpa hears the phone ring, he answers it, and his polite grin and composed manner vanish into thin air. It was taken over by melancholy and a chilly attitude.

'I'm sorry, my beloved grandchild! I hope you'll forgive your grandfather's folly. If I were strong enough, you could still have a better life.'

After one hour...

Kim Woojin chose to return home in his private limousine. He was sitting in the rear seat, admiring the wonderful view of the Seoul cityscape. He was wearing diamond-shaped gem (Green Emerald) ornaments around his neck.

While he was enjoying the present his grandpa gave him, the entire globe experienced a catastrophe that no one had ever seen before.

[The Dungeon Invasion]

Monsters and dungeons arrived out of the blue upon their appearance. The peaceful era that was well known in this society has already come to an end. At the time, Kim Woojin was too unaware to observe the large monster approaching.

Thud Thud Thud

Crash!

Kim Woojin witnesses the world turn upside down in that final instant. He was taken aback by the prospect of what might come next. In the face of a monster attack, Kim Woojin instinctively saves her exclusive bodyguard (Dae-Hyun), whom he considers to be a childhood friend and little sister.

But it was already too late. Dae-Hyun makes a sacrifice to save his young master. She kicked the door open and threw him into a secure landing spot. She understands the meaning of his actions and smiles at him one last time before saying her final words...

"Oppa, I love you!" Please live for me! I'd rather die than lose you in this world.'

Kim Woojin extends his hand to her for the final time, hoping that she will grasp his hand and save her. However, she just refused, causing her eyes to begin to cry up, and to hide the sorrow she was experiencing, she smiled gorgeously, indicating that she did not regret her choice.

'Nooooooo! Dae-Hyun, don't die on me! I have yet to prove anything!! '

That you are my first love...! (Kim Woojin reflected)

Kim Woojin saw his loved one die in person at that crucial moment. He shouted and sobbed in desperation as he struggled to stand.

'Arrrrgggggghhhhhhh…!

Scarlet Minotaur (Red Pointer) [Lv.15]

These figures are Minotaur's, a Greek mythical creature having the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man. He wielded a combat axe in both hands.

"ROOOAAAAARRRR!!!!!"

Kim Woojin awoke from his trance after hearing the monster battle cry. He recalls her beloved's final words before she died. After that, he stands up bravely and calmly observes his overall situation before making his next action.

Scarlet Minotaur in blood? Where the hell did that monster come from? Why is South Korea in a state of turmoil and battle against an unknown entity that appeared out of nowhere? What in the world is going on? I'll focus on killing that bastard monster for the time being before doing anything else. (Kim Woojin speculated)

'For the time being, I'll focus on the overall scenario, monster weakness, and that mysterious status window I'm seeing right now in front of me.' He calmly said.

Above my head, I notice a fascinating green diamond shape. I notice a weird red bar and blue bar in the left-side corner of my eyes. My health points, or HP, are displayed as a red bar. My magic points or MP are displayed in blue bar.

There are so many questions running through my head right now, but there is no time for hesitation. I'll need to figure out how to defeat the monster there in front of me.

'Interesting! This is the first time in my entire life that I've been in such a bind. In a circumstance where survival is a matter of life or death, you can only rely on yourself.' He remarked with a cheeky smirk.

'For the time being, fleeing is an option. 'I'll need more time to prepare before taking action,' he stated quietly.

Kim Woojin exited the red zone with caution, hiding at every corner. Observing a large number of mob monster in the area, Woojin waited until the right moment to strike.
