35 Chapter 33 — Invitations

Pandora was lying comfortably in the arms of her special person, half of her body on him, hearing his powerful heartbeat.

For a moment she felt his heart stopped beating but it soon returned to normal so she didn't think too much and continued enjoying their intimacy in silence.

Today was the day she finally gave herself completely to her brother. Although she wasn't the first at least she did it before his mother, which made her smooth lips curl slightly as a sign of victory.

Although she didn't mind sharing her brother's love, she also wanted to be special to him.

Suddenly she felt Leo hold her tighter and bury his head in her neck, which delighted her and gently stroked his hair.

"Don't let me go", Pandora whispered in his ears feeling incredibly comfortable with his warmth, exhaustion enveloping her body and closing her eyes.

Leo understood that although many minutes had passed inside his Knowledge Sea, on the outside it was only seconds.

Pandora had managed to calm her heavy breathing and was feeling the fatigue from the intense exercise to which she was not accustomed.

"Sweet dreams...", Leo gently kissed her neck and caressed her back affectionately.

Pandora's eyelids drooped and her consciousness gradually faded away until she was sound asleep.

Leo had nothing else to do and also prepared to sleep next to her but a voice in his mind kept him awake.

(I can't believe you would leave without saying a single word!)

Nanahoshi quickly groaned at being dumped so abruptly. It was the meeting she had been waiting for so long!

'Oh... sorry. There I go'. Leo let his body rest next to Pandora and sent his consciousness into his Knowledge Sea. He might never sleep if he did this to spend time with the lonely Nanahoshi.

After returning to the living room, Leo talked a bit with Nanahoshi about trivial things... her original world and things he could sense she liked while building a good relationship with his companion.

While her mission was to help him with whatever he needed that didn't mean he should treat her like a servant or anything like that.

It was important to have good communication and maintain a close bond where both could depend on each other without any inconvenience.

They both shared the same body in some way after all.

She would know everything he did and could even read his thoughts unless he specifically hid them.

Having established how they were going to interact with each other, they both lazily rested on the couch watching Tokyo Revengers.

At some point he would have to travel to another world, so there was nothing wrong with having more knowledge of anime.

He would leave all that work to Nanahoshi later, though. If he read the manga and novels on his own then he would be taking away most of her duties and she would be left with nothing to do, as an otaku (not self-recognized) it was her role to inform and guide him through the different worlds after all.

And he also had little interest in learning everything beforehand when he could find out for himself.

Leo understood her personality very well so he was used to last minute messages from Mia. It was the same when they were on Earth.

After an hour of discussion, the home worlds of the future members were chosen.

Nanahoshi and Leo looked at each other for a moment and smiled, although neither of them considered themselves fans of anime and that sort of thing, they couldn't deny that they were a bit excited.
