Chapter 154: The Person Abandoned By Time

[Somewhere In Elven Nation]

Slowly getting up from his creaking chair, Horus took a stroll down on a pile of books and magically stored the Akashic Records away before it disappears completely to a place that not even Gods could easily access

After that he slowly stared back at Goddess Serefina as he slowly reaches out for a chair and moved it with a flick of a finger

"Sit" he said in a old raspy voice

Hearing that surprisingly a Goddess herself actually listened to a being living in this world and headed his words as if she is looking at him on equal terms

Apparently Goddess Serefina herself and the other God's from this world and other world's have a huge respect to.this old fellow as the soul keeper of the only Akashic Records for 35,000 years

"Thank you" replied Goddess Serefina

As she took a sit Horus gently waved his hand and slowly moved some cups and teapots near them and arranged them for themselves

Seeing this even Goddess Serefina couldn't help but gasp in astonishment as she witness such scene

"Your imitating some kind of power on another world again Horus" she stated

"Hmm! Ah yes... . . Apparently I can only imitate the by circulating magic power everywhere... . . This power called the Force is quite unique but somehow similar to something" he replied as he slowly walks out of the dark and into a moonlight

When she saw his full figure she noticed that somehow Horus face has a few wrinkles on his forehead and cheeks and his long hair has turned white, indicating for how long he lived

His white pupil surrounded by black color of its outer eye was also quite eye cat Hing and would most likely be mistaken for a monsters eye if not for his ability to talk

Apparently the complexion of his eyesight was his slight consequence upon leaving the realm of mortal and stepping into immortality

"Have... . .you regretted your decision? After all you've lived along for almost 35,000 years, how you still remembered your companions faces back then? Even your lover than became your wife? Have you still remember her?" Asked Goddess Serefina in pure worry about his mentality

Surprisingly Horus replied calmly

"As clear like it was yesterday... . . I... . .never regretted anything" he said as he took a sit opposite of Serefina

"I know that the people that i once known have already disappeared from this world, or maybe they have already circulated the cycle of life and have countless reincarnation in this world without they're memories in the past... . . Maybe my wife have already married a dozen of times from different husband's in her different lives... . . Possibly she has already a multitude of experience of sufferings in different worlds, at last I could be mistaken" he stated

"You? Mistaken? How come?" Asks Goddess Serefina

At this question Horus gently glanced at her as he said

"My friend! There are millions of similar Earth's out there connected with each other through the world tree, meaning different realities... . . Even a span of 35,000 years isn't enough to circle all those world's" he answered calmly

When she heard him Goddess Serefina soon realized that Horus must have gotten some knowledge from reading and reviewing the Akashic Records

"So how long did it take you this time around?" She asked

"Me using the Akashic Records?... . . About 1 year, 12 months, 52 weeks, 360 days, 8,640 hours, 518,400 minutes, 31,104,000 seconds to be exact and still ongoing... . . I need a break from time to time"

Hearing all those numbers even the Goddess herself was flabbergasted as she twitched her mouth

"So you counted them?... . . It's unlikely" she commented

"It's not that hard, after all someone already did that in another world" shrugged Horus

Without further ado Goddess Serefina asked

"Does this all unthinkable knowledge came from that book?"

Slowly Horus nodded as he took a slow sip of newly brewed tea

"Correct! Even this tea came from another world... . . I say it is quite tasty" he said

Soon Goddess Serefina pointed at the once location of the Akashic Records

"So the legendary Akashic Records is a book?" She asks

But unlikely Horus shook his head in denial as he answered

"A merely book can't contain all the knowledge of all reality my friend, this book is just a representation of what's bigger and merely a passageway to a realm where all knowledge is stored up throughout millions of reality histories... . . It even recorded way back before there where even gods in the first place"

At that Goddess Serefina gently probed into the matter

"So how's the borderline of all reality holding?" She asked

At this Horus became serious

"Not good apparently... . . It won't take long before it breaks out and the war of the worlds started... . . But you should concentrate on doing your particular jobs, especially you" he said as he points his thin finger on Goddess Serefina

"Me!!! Why?"

"Your human that your so fond off is one of the Frontline warrior's for the incoming war of the world's... . . Along with other warrior's in different worlds... . . Guide him well" he advised her

At that even Goddess Serefina was shocked

"Kaido? What's that got to do with anything that would happen for who knows when? And how can you... . . Wait! The Akashic Records?" She suddenly asked as she soon realized something

In reply Horus slowly nodded in agreement

"Ten worlds in line with the border, ten people protagonist of their own story, ten warrior's that would fight unto the frontlines against a force capable of dishing out millions of reality... . ." He stated as he gazed upwards

"They're paths may be separate for now, but no sooner or later they will soon intersect with each other towards one final decision... . . Two forces collides only one survives, it's either them or us" he added

Soon he stood up and towered over the Goddess as he said

"That's all i can reveal, the more I reveal the more that our victory will unlikely to happen"

At that he continued to stroll around in search for something

But at this particular movement Goddess Serefina exhaled in worry as sweat trickled down her face, even gods has to fear something and that something is the threat of the unknown

With that in mind she carefully glanced at Horus who moved around slowly indicating his age

"Is the war inevitable?" She asked

In return Horus simply chuckled

"It is inevitable, all I can say is that a lot of people will probably die but our percentage of losing is higher than the percentage of winning"

After that Goddess Serefina couldn't help but be dismayed as she thought of something

"You know what? I would like my human to at least meet you once" she said

"Your human? What's his name again?... . . Hmm! Kabuki? Karl? Karlow?" Thought deeply by Horus

"Kaido!"

"Ah yes that guy... . . Well he can as long as he can get inside the elven nation that is" shrugged Horus

"Get in? Don't worry about a thing, in his current location, there is a sigil that would allow him to enter the elven nation... . . The only thing he needed to do is find it" assured Goddess Serefina

At that Horus simply shrugged it off as he said

"Your quite a peculiar Goddess"

"Peculiar? Why so?"

"Simply put you interact too much in this world especially to your favorite human, does watching his life entertain you? Based on his past it seems that he somehow suffered a lot from his kind" said Horus as he placed a stack of books on the table

Hearing that Goddess Serefina laughed it off

"No your wrong, I'm just interested on how he will change the fate of humans like him" said Goddess Serefina

"I see... . ."

After that Horus took something out from his own little box and placed them on the table right in front of the Goddess

But as he did this the Goddess herself glanced at Horus as she said

"If you know so much already, then I presume that you already know about those Demon king's vassal"

As she asked this Horus gently looked at her as he replied

"Ah yes... . . After the decline throughout the millennium, the Demon king's side finally able to retrieve what they once lost" said Horus

"You mean... . ."

"Yes, those four vassal have regained some of their strength during the age of the gods, I for one also know that a Celestial spirit that is occupying the human hero is also came from the age of the gods so it's strength is unfathomable" he stated

"Maybe this time, your little war between races that is quite miniscule compared to the war of the worlds wherein the survival of your existence is at line, will be quite destructive"

Hearing that Goddess Serefina slumped unto her chair as she pouted

"I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult"

With that Horus simply brushed her remark at the sides as he carefully placed an emblem which is rusted and lost in time much likely like him who was abandoned by time itself

"Tell me... . . How well do you know this emblem?"

When he asked that Goddess Serefina glanced at the emblem as she carefully spoken

"That emblem is older than you are, in fact even thought your an acquaintance of the first hero, it is still older than both of you... . . That emblem came from once of the great empire that has fallen after a few years of the disappearance of the first hero which is also titled as the strongest hero" said Goddess Serefina

With that Horus nodded in agreement

"Then you know what have befallen the hero himself, even I am aware of what happened to him after taking a look at the Akashic Records"

In reply Goddess Serefina nodded

"Then I can easily divulge this particular discovery to you and your kind my friend... . ." He stated

"What do you mean?" She asked

As she asked that Horus placed a handkerchief that came from the first hero that only reminds him of his former world

"This is... . ."

Unable to continue her words due to shock of seeing a nostalgic item, she carefully examined it and found out that the item was actually legit

"This belongs to the first hero!!! Why are you putting it out?"

As she asks that Horus sigh deeply as he answered Goddess Serefina's question

"Just as how you speculated, He's back and more dangerous than ever... . . This little skirmish of yours will decide, who's curtain's call will fall"

At that Goddess Serefina stumbled back into her chair as she carefully carrased her forehead unable to fastly process everything that she have learned today

"Impossible... . . It's one thing after another" she complained

In reply to her Horus comforted Goddess Serefina his only friend that actually he felt not being left behind

"This is only a trial to decide our fate, all we can do is watch from the sidelines"

As he said that Horus punctured his wording word by word to imply that every word he said has a meaning and shows how grim the situation is

At that Goddess Serefina now realized how the world is truly in danger and is on the brink of being destroyed, but nonetheless the gods can't interfere or meddle with the mortals, this the only thing she can do was watch

But as she did this she couldn't help but keep ringing that one phrase inside her head that kept her worried after all of this

"Two forces collides only one survives, it's either them or us"
