Once a Pokémon breaks through to the Elite level, it undergoes a life leap, and thus, Gengar and Mismagius in their breakthrough state cannot be disturbed.
Just as Froslass and Banette were preparing to attack Gengar and Mismagius, Phoebe's Drifblim suddenly positioned itself in front of them, taking the attacks meant for Gengar and Mismagius.
Although Drifblim had been severely injured by Mega Sableye, it hadn't lost its ability to fight. After resting for a moment, it was ready to act.
However, Drifblim was still in a heavily damaged state, and facing the combined assault of two Elite level Pokémon proved challenging. Its injuries continued to worsen.
At the same time, Yuga noticed the situation with Mismagius and Gengar. He hadn't expected them to break through at this moment.
But thinking about it, their accumulated power had long been sufficient. They were usually nourished by the Ghost World Origin Stones and had absorbed a large amount of life energy in Pinwheel Forest. It wasn't surprising when they would break through.
Seeing the heavily wounded Drifblim being pushed back, Yuga thought, "I need to act quickly."
"Lapras, hurry up and deal with it," he commanded.
Lapras nodded in response. Cold air enveloped its body, and the entire space seemed to freeze as the already battered Sableye turned into an ice block.
Meanwhile, as Drifblim was about to succumb to the relentless attacks, a Hydro Pump intercepted the two Shadow Balls aimed at it.
Seeing Yuga and Lapras arrive just in time, Phoebe breathed a sigh of relief. She wouldn't have held out much longer.
Lapras unfurled its four wings, creating countless water vapor, and appeared in front of Froslass and Banette.
Sensing Lapras's overwhelming presence, Froslass and Banette took a few steps back in silence, watching Lapras warily, not daring to attack lightly.
This was a Pokémon that had defeated Sableye in almost no damage, and Sableye is stronger than both of them combined.
Just as Yuga arrived at Mismagius and Gengar's side, a massive rift suddenly appeared in his Shadow Space, and countless emerald energies surged out.
In the instant the rift appeared, the seals placed on Yuga's Shadow Space by Marshadow were shattered.
The emerald energies split into two streams, flowing into Mismagius and Gengar respectively.
Yuga was taken aback by this sudden turn of events, utterly baffled.
As the emerald energy poured out, not far away, Phoebe, had a sudden change in expression. She looked at Yuga with a mixture of surprise and suspicion, her eyes filled with doubt.
The emerald energy from Yuga's Shadow Space continued to increase, gradually forming two emerald dragons that poured into Mismagius and Gengar's bodies.
As time passed, the aura around Mismagius and Gengar began to rise, and Lapras, Froslass, Banette, and Drifblim were also locked in their respective battles.
The rolling emerald energy caused all the nearby vegetation and leaves to be swept up. The tremendous energy surge startled the Pokémon living in the vicinity, causing them to flee.
Bridges, who was currently battling Dragonite's mother in the distance, also noticed the situation with Yuga. Greed filled his eyes as he looked at the two emerald dragons and Mismagius and Gengar.
If it weren't for Dragonite's mother pressing him in battle, Bridges would have considered seizing those emerald energies from Mismagius and Gengar immediately.
Meanwhile, Yuga was growing concerned. With so much energy flooding into Mismagius and Gengar, could they withstand it?
Yuga recognized this energy.
The emerald energy was a fusion of the energy radiating from the Ghost World Origin Stones and the life energy from Cofagrigus.
This mutated energy had been imprinted on Mismagius and Gengar long ago.
Mismagius and Gengar practically spent twenty-four hours a day in Yuga's Shadow Space, living in this energy every day. Over time, this energy had absorbed their essence and been assimilated by them, as if they shared the same origin.
Gengar and Mismagius were currently undergoing a transformation of life, subconsciously summoning those energies, leading to the scene unfolding before them.
Gradually, Yuga noticed that a large gathering of Ghost-type Pokémon had silently amassed around him, fixating their unwavering gazes on Gengar and Mismagius, who were undergoing this transformation.
Their eyes held a greedy gleam when they looked at the emerald energies. However, when they looked at Gengar and Mismagius, their eyes were filled with fear and trepidation, and they dared not approach.
It was unclear how much time had passed when Lapras finally defeated Froslass and Banette, bringing Gengar and Mismagius' breakthrough close to its end.
When the last trace of emerald energy was absorbed, Gengar and Mismagius simultaneously opened their eyes. The Ghost-type Pokémon that had gathered to watch seemed to be startled and screamed as they hastily fled.
After the breakthrough, Yuga noticed that both Gengar and Mismagius had undergone significant changes in their appearances.
The most noticeable change was in their eyes.
Gengar's originally crimson eyes had become even redder, or rather, blood-red, as if blood was flowing within them, giving them a highly intimidating look.
In addition to those unsettling eyes, Gengar's formerly deep purple-black body had turned pitch-black, with countless wisps of black mist seemingly swirling inside.
Mismagius, which previously had golden eye whites and orange irises, now had entirely golden eyes, seemingly without pupils, giving them an eerie appearance.
The color of Mismagius' body remained unchanged, but the three orange-red gems embedded in its body had turned emerald green. Yuga could even see the tremendous energy surging within these gems.

Through careful observation, Yuga noted that apart from the surprising changes in their potentials, there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary in the transformations of Gengar and Mismagius.
However, what surprised Yuga the most was his perception of them.
Yuga couldn't quite fathom what had changed in them, but under his perception, these two Pokémon didn't seem like Ghost-types anymore. Instead, they radiated an intense life force similar to Grass or Fairy-type Pokémon.
Both these Pokémon had only recently entered the Elite level, yet the way their auras seemed to merge gave off an impression that was comparable to a single Pokémon. The pressure they exerted felt no less than that of a peak Elite level Pokémon.
Minutes after the breakthrough, Yuga felt that the auras emanating from Gengar and Mismagius were rapidly being concealed, as if they had transformed into two inconspicuous Pokémon that one could see with their eyes but not feel their presence, rendering even Yuga's special abilities ineffective.
This was similar to the feeling given by Dragonite's mother.
But Dragonite's mother was a Champion level Pokémon, while Gengar and Mismagius had only recently entered the Elite level. Could they really possess the same level of control over their bodies?
