The Deadly Lair-II

Jung Hwa grinned which slightly took the witchess to be taken aback that he could still smile even with all the disadvantages. Pointing his gun, he took a coupled of shot and dashed toward the opposite pillar where Han Seoyeon was.

Although it was only for a split of a second as the fight between the witchess and Jung Hwa was like watching flashes of lightning, Han Seoyeon could see that Jung Hwa who had been fighting without taking a shield finally duck behind the pillar.

What happened? Was he possibly in a bad state? Han Seoyeon felt her heart rushing her, her eyes finding the witchess smiling like a saucer wide from one ear to another which made her look utterly hideous to see.

Hyena laughed, "Finally covering yourself, pureblood?!" her back curved down as she laughed as if she was having the best joke she had ever heard for the decades of her life.

Jung Hwa grinned. He couldn't see but that doesn't mean he was in a very large disadvantage. Biting to his own wrist, he let the blood to pour fast down to create a pool beneath him and gave them a whisper of order, "Be my eyes."

The red liquid shook on the floor even though the floor was dead still. Bubble form over the surface of before the blood took on a form of a mist that surrounded his back. The witchess who had continued to laugh moved closer toward the pillar when Jung Hwa dashed out of the pillar and plunged his gun to take shot.

Hyena jumped and rolled behind. Her face was in a shock to see that Jung Hwa was able to aim for her despite the fact that his eyes should be no better than a blind person now!

"What did you do?! How could you see me?! Your eyes shouldn't be able to work now!" Han Seoyeon who heard the witchess word had her eyes widened from the revelation. Jung Hwa couldn't see? Was it because of something that the witchess did? She looked down searching for anything that could be use to attack the witchess as she doubt her kick will work against her.

Han Seoyeon couldn't find anything but when she brought her palm and open, the flask shone to her eyes.

Jung Hwa chuckled lazily replying, "Anyone will be able to once they know the trick."

Hyena clawed toward him, this time she didn't use her knife as she had thrown all the knives she had and instead chose to attack with her thick and sharp nails. Jung Hwa was able to dodge all the attack but regardless of the fact that he was able to see faintly with his blood's power it still hinder his sight which slowed down his performance.

When Hyena was able to graze his cheek with a surprise attack, she looked at her hand before tittering her teeth toward him. "You cocky bastard so you still couldn't see? I should have known better!"

Jung Hwa clicked his tongue, his gun work faster and when he hide again behind the pillar, he pulled out the old cartridge to reload the bullets. Just then, Hyena's face appeared on his left, she thought she had taken him off guard when Jung Hwa grinned to shoot her at her neck. Hyena just barely was able to avoid the bullet which grazed her cheeks.

Being thrown away to the wall, Hyena cursed when she saw his gun dangling from both his led and right hand.

"You have two guns!" she yelled, all the time Jung Hwa had two guns but only uses one? "You were mocking me!" she whined which made her look very childish to Jung Hwa fit to her appearance,

"I never said I didn't have one." he smiled sweetly before dropping the smile.

"Damn you! I will make sure you pay for this!" she growled, her voice morphing into a sound similar to a Lion's howl.

But when she was about to charge forward, suddenly she felt something splashed on her back. Hyena touched her back in surprise, she looked at Han Seoyeon who quickly ran after she had thrown the blue colored potions she had after taking from Hana's possession.

"What are you- AHHHH!!!" Hyena who was still unable to understand what had just happen nor how she wasn't able to detect the woman to enter the building screamed in pain. On the skin where Han Seoyeon had thrown the potion too a black smoke appeared. Hyena dug the floor and continued to scream in pain, her back felt as though it was burning and turning to liquid which was true.

"You damnable woman! How did you use the potion?!" Hyena yelled, her words were directed toward Han Seoyeon who stood not too far from her near the pillar.

Han Seoyeon looked at how the back of the witchess turn to an empty hole which wasn't pretty to look at. A large cavity began to open from the witchess's back and before soon Hyena's livid body turned limp and all her energy was loss as her body crumble into nothing but dusts. Han Seoyeon was still staring blankly on the spot where Hyena died, her heart felt as though it had taken a deeper swim into her stomach.

She didn't know what to feel she felt relieved to see the witchess had died but at the same time, she felt guilty for killing the witchess as she had a very child-like appearance but she knew she shouldn't feel guilty for taking her life. Because if she didn't, perhaps Jung Hwa would have been harmed.

"Are you hurt?" Jung Hwa said as he reached toward her, to see that Han Seoyeon was still looking at the spot where Hyena was once at.

It took time until Han Seoyeon reply to him, "I am, what about you?"

"Still fine. Though currently I loss very much blood so I hope you doesn't get close to me." He said with a smile which looked darker as the moon which she used as a light was engulfed with the black clouds.
