2 Fourth Work Interview

She sped up, even with the seven centimeters high heels on her small feet, Han Seoyeon was confident about her running. Almost three years ago when she had just worked as a secretary, her stupid boss made her work here and there, calling her suddenly when she was still at the house and as such, she had learned how to run with her high heels better than running without shoes.

Running with all her might, she saw a man riding a bicycle in a hurry in the pedestrian walk and was about to go crash to her. Instinctively, she turned her body to the side and felt her body collapsing to fall from the sudden change of course, and shut her eyes.

"That's dangerous." A voice came along with a firm hand shielding her from her fall. He stared at the man riding the bicycle at the pedestrian street which was a crime with a frown and shifted his eyes down at her. "Are you alright?"

Han Seoyeon could still hear her heart thudding loudly. If she had fallen because of the clumsy bicycle, she would have her body pushed to the busy main road and have her life in danger. Thankfully that didn't happen. Before she could regain her composure, her eyes spotted the clock hand on her watch warning her that she was far her appointed time.

"Damnit." She whispered a curse and pulled herself together to gratefully thanked the man who helped her. "Thank you very much! Thank you very much!"

The man saw her bowing a few times furiously and went again to run, blowing a wind to his face. He watched her run with high heels, pulling her purse to her shoulder and found it amusing to laugh at. He stood there, covering his mouth with a wholesome laughter to sense his old secretary coming behind him with a troubled face. "Master Kwon. As you have tried to use the train, could we stop playing this game and ride the car properly?"

"Alright, alright don't be too tense, Secretary Koo. I'll properly ride the car now." Kwon Huan repeated his secretary's words and entered the car to have his eyes staying on the track Han Seoyeon ran. Once again slipped a chuckle from his lips.

Fixing her appearance outside the large building, Han Seoyeon organized her breathes. Breathing in and out, she walked to the building and followed the instruction to sit down in a line.

"Thank God I wasn't late." She placed her hand over her chest and muttered out to herself. The man who helped her earlier, she recalled the accident again and felt sorry for her crude thankful expression. She also didn't have any time to look at the man's face and wasn't sure whether the man accepted her gratitude or not. But the least, she did try to thank him.

Owing someone a favor wasn't exactly something that she like but she didn't have the chance to give a proper thanks because of the interview. If she met him again, she will make sure to give proper gratitude for saving her life, she thought to herself. Her phone vibrated from a message and she remembered that she turned off the volume due to the previous interview. Glancing at the screen, she opened her phone to give a soft smile from the picture sent by her little brother.

"Ms. Han, please enter the room." The man standing outside the door called her for her turn.

She gave a nod, entering the place to see the three men sitting down with her CV in front of them. She took a seat and was soon to be questioned by the other two people who asked for her basic information and her past works. After a round of questions, she saw the man on the left edge flipping the paper to ask her, "You are only a high-school graduate, Ms. Han?"

This again, she thought to herself. Somewhat half-cursing to her bad luck as all the previous companies who asked her this particular question ended up crossing her as the candidate. She gulped down her troubled sigh and pulled a professional smile.

"When I had just graduated from high school, my parents died in an accident, leaving me and my little brother alone. I thought it would be best for me to work in order to pay off my brother's tuition and that was what I did." her tone was straight, it was a sob story to another person but it was the life that she lived at. Usually, people would receive such an answer with a nod but still crossed her in the interview as there were plenty of people who have a better alma matter than her who has none.

Just like that, they gave a nod to her words, and the person in the middle looked at the other two people to voice up the last question. Adjusting his eyeglass,  Han Seoyeon saw his stern expression and also tensed up.

"This work requires you to completely give your almost all your time at your job, can you do that Ms. Han?"

Han Seoyeon currently was still twenty-five years old but to her work, she had committed to give the best she could do. In her life, there was never once she said "no" before she tried to do anything. With those thoughts hovering in her mind she nodded.

"As I will be attending besides the boss as a secretary, I will pour out everything that I have in order to give him the best assistance."

The three people looked at each other and seemed to be discussing something by sharing glances. They turned back to Han Seoyeon and offered a smile.

"That would be all for the interview. We will send an update on your interview to your email. Thank you very much, Ms. Han." The man stated and concluded Han Seoyeon's fourth interview.

Walking out of the room, she could feel nothing but stressed. Although she was able to smoothly answer the questions the interviewer gave, she couldn't help but to feel that she had failed her interview. One of the reasons was that the company she currently tried was a renowned company, the international Rune Company.

Exhaling a mouthful of sigh, she heard her phone vibrated from her skirt pocket.
