1 Disaster Came At Once

The stiff room of the office reeked of sour faces that were made by the employees in Wole Company. Han Seoyeon had just come back after making a warm coffee for her boss when she saw people shaking their heads in disgust and heard a shout echoing from the middle of the office.

"Perhaps you could use your body to receive an agreement from the client, Ms. Gam?" The boss laughed at the female employee who had nothing but an embarrassed face. She clutched to her skirt, unable to voice out as the man who was currently attacking her with verbal abuse was the head manager. 

The head manager used his both hands to squint his eyes at Ms. Gam's chest and berated. "You have a big treasure in your body, Ms. Gam. Having a pair that big, doesn't your shoulder feel sore?" The rest of the employees were afraid to be fire and could do nothing but look at the head manager in disgust and evaded their eyes to whisper at each other. 

Ms. Gam said nothing, and bit her lower parched lips with teary eyes to hear him laughing out while holding his sides and continued, "You should ask the client to please massage my shoulders and while you are at it, ask them to also fond-"

Han Seoyeon walked toward them, taking the warm coffee on the wooden tray and poured it over the head manager's head to speak aloud. "Shut your trap, stupid old man. Blabbing about someone else's chest don't you also have one?" She pointed her eyes at his big body and smugly mocked, "Why don't you ask your client to fondle them too?" 

The other employees couldn't hold back their laughter and burst into a quiet chuckle, but the head manager could see their mocking laughter clearly. His face turned red as he shouted glaring at Han Seoyeon, he screamed an echoing voice. "HAN SEOYEON, YOU'RE FIRED! OUT!" 

That was how Han Seoyeon kicked out of her company after defeating her evil boss who always used his mouth to blabber out indecent words to the female company. It has been two weeks since Han Seoyeon was fired off and since then she had taken three job interviews and had been rejected by the two companies. 

"This is all because of that damned jerk." Han Seoyeon murmured in detest to her previous head manager and walked out of the building from where she had just taken her third job interview. 

Saving a female employee was good and she never regret it, but now she reflected that she should have done it in another way rather than pouring lukewarm coffee. 

"That's right, I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have thrown warm coffee to him but a newly boiled water!" Han Seoyeon nodded at her own words proudly and heard her phone ringing with a bright melody. 

She pulled her phone, staring at the caller's name, and give a gentle look. It was a call from her younger brother Han Seo Jun. Immediately she took the call. "Hello, Seo Jun?" 

"Nuna!" Seo Jun called her happily, with the voice of an adorable little boy. "I have been stuck with studying for the new semester and haven't called Nuna for a very long time. How are you doing, Nuna?" The young man asked, sitting in the corner of the staff room at the cafe of his part-time job. 

"Aww, you little boy. You called me only to hear how I'm doing?" Han Seoyeon who clearly thought today would be a very unlucky day for her felt a little more spirited than before from a single call of her little brother. 

"Well, Nuna can't do anything other than working, I'm worried that you will faint because you work too much." Han Seo Jun twirled his hand and fiddle with the carton box in front of him. He could still remember the shock that came when he received a call from Han Seoyeon's coworkers, saying that she fainted suddenly.

Han Seoyeon felt her lips twitched from her little brother's worried tone and shielded herself. "For your information, that time I fainted because my blood sugar is low."

"Yes, yes, I know." 

"That isn't the tone you use if you sincerely understand, though." Han Seoyeon rebuked. "And you don't have to worry about me every day, Seo Jun. You still have to study for the upcoming exam, don't you? Put your focus there, not  to me." 

"If you want me to do that Nuna, I advise you to quickly search for a boyfriend. If you have one that could take care of you, I could rest peacefully now." He sighed.

"How come did we have this conversation again? Silly boy, I told you I will not be marrying anyone." she looked up to the red light and squinted her eyes from the bold light to hear her little brother scolding her. 

"You shouldn't say that Nuna, perhaps by meeting someone just perfect for you you will be able to have some peace and focus on another thing than work. Having someone to protect and love isn't a bad thing, you know."

"I wonder if I will ever find someone like that?" she whispered, thinking such a man would never come to her life. 

"Of course you would, after all, Nuna is very beautiful! Someone will definitely see through your charm, I guarantee it!" 

She chuckled at her little brother who was trying his best to raise her spirit. "You know, you're the only person who ever said that to me."

"That isn't true." Han Seo Jun quickly retorted without another thought. As he was currently borrowing his time in his part-time job, he heard his boss calling him from the counter and hurried. "Nuna, I'll be going now alright. I'll call you again!" 

Han Seoyeon hummed in response and ended the call to place it inside her bag. After hearing receiving his call, she felt her downhearted self uplifted and began to cheer herself internally. "You can do this, Seoyeon!" she glanced over at her watch seeing her time and exclaimed to herself. "Oh no! I only have another ten minutes for the interview!"
