Act-II

"What?" Han Seoyeon whispered to his reply with her heart drumming to her ears. She wasn't slow to not notice Jung Hwa had somewhat seduce her whenever she was beside him in the company. She wasn't slow, however, she was too full in mind thinking that Jung Hwa had been doing it off handedly because she knew he had proposed her when she had disguised in place of Wan Seulgi.

"I am seducing you, since our second meeting, in the company, and even now Seoyeon. Surely you don't think I am an angel sent from above to help people in need, don't you?" His eyes had turned completely red when he had said the words as if he had changed his eyes color to remind her of how a night creature he was.

"I'm no sweet being darling, even now I am doing this to get on your good side by saving yourself. If it was perhaps someone else I would have pushed the date a little longer for a perfect raid. But don't worry I'm adept on what I do and a man of my words. I will save your friend." and he mark his words to her.

Han Seoyeon felt her heart skip a beat, it would be a lie if she say she didn't felt anything from his words. Her cheeks turned bright red and she had to keep it down so her face wouldn't turned too red.

During her entire life there was only once where Han Seoyeon fell for a person but that was years ago when she was still a highschooler and her romance story didn't end well. It wasn't that she had closed her heart because of the bad ending of her romance but it was just she didn't have that interest anymore but now that Jung Hwa slowly tipping her balance it was soon that she would fall to the endless abyss he created which was called as love.

"What do you say?" asked Jung Hwa bringing her attention to see how his red gaze was still staying. She didn't know whether it was the taut atmosphere or the gaze he had been giving since the earliest time of whether it was the devilish smile he had that even though she had seat to hit of the seat, she felt as if she was in a top of an ice berg about to fall.

"Say about what?" she questioned his question.

"Was I not clear with my words? I am questioning your agreement in me wooing you. I don't dislike your slowness sweet cat Seoyeon, however, I do hope you could be more aware." His grinned giving he challenging tone.

Her grasp which hover over her skirt tightened. She looked him back with her straightforward gaze that grew her courage to reply him, "It is your right to woe someone Hwa, I do not have the rights to stop you." she replied after some deliberation.

"That is a music to my ears." he whispered though they had created some distance between them she could feel his hazy breath over to her neck when she recalled of the times when he had cut her personal distance and spoke right bellow her ears to her neck. She shuddered feeling something arise from the pit of her stomach and her heart squeezed.

Jung Hwa didn't miss her expression, he couldn't. Grinning he then turn his face to a stern one as they had passed the wide board with words written 'Myeondong'.

"Let us save our talk for later, we have arrived Seoyeon." he whispered and her eyes also looked toward the sign board for her once giddy and bashful expression to turn serious.

On the other side of the night, a few hours before Han Seoyeon met Jung Hwa, Wan Seulgi grunted from the place she was. Her head felt dizzy and once she had opened her eyes she saw the view tilting and blurred out that she couldn't make out a single thing. Blinking once and twice it took her a full one minute to regain back her sight but her body still felt numb.

Where was she? asked Seulgi to herself her head aches when she tried to remember what had happened to her. Did she fell drunk and was put of somewhere but that can't be, she thought to herself when her last memory where she had seen someone was killed and the two woman where one of them suddenly had her face dislodge to broken pieces. Just the thought made her skin crawled and her heart ran cold.

She looked around the place where she was. It was dark and empty and perhaps she was bellow the ground level which she make out by seeing the grill window which was attached on the far above the wall to see there was a level of the ground. A sound of water drops echoed to the room where she was to give an eerie air. She looked around but it was too dark and the only light she could use was the light from the grill window above.

Nevertheless she could see the iron bars in front of her, it seemed she was kidnapped. Trying to move her hand a sound of clinking shackles round to her ears. Her hand and legs was bound with shackles.

"Damn it." Wan Seulgi whispered. Her tears stayed on her eyes when she thought that soon she would meet the same fate as the dead people she had heard the two witchessess spoke about. Where was she? How long had she been out of the cold? And where was the witchesses who had caught her?

She didn't know anything and it only worsened her state of mind for fear to feed off her heart. She wanted to cry but she didn't. In the place where she was she couldn't see the shadow of the witchesses and was afraid to make sound to alarm the witchesses that she had woken up. And if they found out she had woken up, the odds would be at her...
