5 Chapter 5: The Heroine

Oh no. How could I forget? She dies in the hands of Keon! Excuse me, but I am way too young too die!

"U-um excuse me? The assembly is over..." a gentle and sweet voice reminded me that I was in the academy, not my bedroom. I turned to the voice, it was a pretty girl with long red hair and light pink eyes, she had flushed cheeks and fluttery eyelashes.

This had to be the heroine. "Rosa?" I whispered, wondering if my eyes were tricking me. She cocked her head, "How so you know my name?" My mouth dropped, it was her. Rosa.

"Ah- I'm sorry I thought you were pretty like a rose so I thought you looked like your name would be Rosa- I'm not a stalker, believe me!" I babbled on and on, trying to excuse myself from looking like a stalking creep.

Rosa giggled, "It's ok, I think you're really pretty too! Like the moon!"

Well duh. In fact, one strand of my silky hair is enough to beat the whole moon! I'm not narcissistic, it's the truth. Anyway, back to Rosa.

"Why thank you! I'm Celeste Irenos, lovely to meet you!" She smiled sadly, "So your Duke Irenos's daughter? I'm Rosa....I'm only a commoner but I hope we can be friends...."

I grinned, "So what if you're a commoner? It's rare than they are accepted at the academy, which means you've got skills!" She laughed.

"Um- so about the assembly.... what did he say again? How long was I asleep?" I asked this, hesitantly, a bit embarrassed I was asleep. She hesitated. "Ah, well the principal didn't talk about much. He told us that we'd share a dorm with one other person, and apparently we're dorm partners! I think. He said my partner was Celesteria Arelli Irenos. That's you right? Anyway, after the speech, some guy with dark green hair in a ponytail and yellow eyes all of a sudden noticed you and said, 'Ooh~ Look! There's a sleeping beauty here! Shall I wake her up with a kiss?'

I got angry and was about to speak up, but the crown prince spoke and told him off! Then he shooed everyone away, he even asked if I wanted him to accompany me to my dorm! I declined because I wanted to wake you up, so he went ahead."

Oh no. She just missed the prologue of the story. In the novel, Rosa meets the prince when he accompanies her to the dorm after the assembly. This spikes his interest in her as she talks to him on the way! And I ruined it for her because I dozed off! But even more important, which bastard dared try to kiss me?

"Hahaah- oh really? Well let's go to our dorm now..." I skipped to the exit, only to come to a sudden stop.

"Wait- where's our dorm again?"
