4 Chapter 4: How could I Forget?!!

"My lady, please wake up!" "Pleas wake up miss!" "Lady Celeste, we need to dress you up!"

I woke up when 2 new maids shook me violently. "What the he-"

I was interrupted by a young maid with reddish hair and freckles, "Miss! You'll be late to the academy, hurry!" She pulled me out of bed and I stood there with a blank expression as the maid's dragged me into a room. My mouth dropped, "Oh my, god. Is that a golden bathtub? Gold?!" The maid's ignored me and I realized this was the bathroom. It was so big I thought it was another bedroom. It looked like a spa, and had fluffy towels hanging, some weird blue stones inside the giant bathtub. Marie tapped on the stone, and to my amazement water gushed out and filled the bathtub. "What's that?"

Marie looked at me puzzled, "Water mana stones, of course." She said this in a voice that almost sounded like it was saying, 'Duh-'

My mouth made an 'o' shape and Marie called out to the third maid, a tall girl with light blond hair, "Lila, can you prepare her outfit? And Anna, you get her hair accessories and ask the cook to prepare a quick breakfast!"

Anna, the red head, nodded and ran out of the bathroom. Lila, the blond one, was already in my closet. I stepped into the bathtub with the help of Marie, the water covered my nudeness making me a bit more comfortable. Marie scrubbed my hair with a rose-scented shampoo, then she started scrubbing my body, which was awkward. At least for me.

Soon Marie was drying my hair, and Anna was brushing it, Marie tied it in a loose braid, a few strands of hair framing my face. Anna placed an opal hair clip near the upper side of my face, holding a few loose hairs back. After that, they buttoned up the academy uniform that Lila had brought to us.

It was a white dress off the shoulders with a black corset, the dress was shorter than normal dresses, as it was up to the shin, their was a second bottom layer that went on top, and like curtains it split. It was black, so the bottoms was black that parted and showed white in the middle. The shoes were black Mary Jane shoes, their was also white knee stockings. After I dressed up, we went down to the dining room to see on the table, the cook had prepared a quick sandwich I ate it in a few minutes. Lila and Anna parted with us leaving me and Marie in the carriage. The carriage ride was bumpy, but the cushions were comfty and there were fire mana stones that served as heaters in here.

I recalled from the book that there were few mages in this world. Only the royal family and very few others could use magic. The royal family were only able to use light magic however, the mages all go and study at the Mage's Tower by law. The most powerful mage is Keon, a male lead. He is currently the arch-mage and is honored with the title, 'Mage of the Tower'. The mages fill stones with gems with their mana, when they do this people can use that mana type, but if you put it in a stone it reduces the power. So you won't be able to attack using mana unless you buy a rarer mana stone. Mana stones are extremely expensive and are used for heaters, air conditioning, instant water, and sometimes cooking.

The carriage came to a stop and I jumped out, Marie accompanied me, carrying my luggage. I would live in a dorm here, in the academy. Maids were not allowed to stay in the academy most of the times. Marie was an exception as the principals allowed her to stay with me. She would live in a nearby room that was empty, it was connected to my dorm so she could help me dress up and such.

I marveled at the large academy. It was bigger than our household and had tall towers used for rooms, dorms, and storages. Between two towers was the main building for the academy. Inside would be classes and the cafeteria. Marie told me that the academy was famous as it only allowed nobles and very few commoners who passed the entry exam. The principal was famous and powerful, he was a mage. There were also several addition classes here, swordsmanship, cooking, art, embroidery.

This academy was also famous for its library. An old library with rare, old, new, giant, small books of all genres. Some were in ancient language! I wanted to go to the library, I could just imagine the-um.....<i>romance....</i>novels they must have! What could I say? Of course I was into yaoi, and steamy content! I was a growing teenager! Single! I needed some comfort!<i></i>

Let me tell you! I've always wanted to be famous, and I wanted to be a novelist! If the library didn't have yaoi and my special type of books then I'll make them! I'm a pretty good writer if I do say so myself, hehehe.

I walked into the academy with a sinister grin that creeped out the other students.

The principle's speech was boring as hell, so I snoozed. And I had a dream! It was Celeste, she was being bullied by a pretty girl with curly auburn hair and light orange eyes. I recognized her. It was Selene. "Listen Celeste, don't you dare side with that disgusting b*tch again! She's stealing his majesty!"

I cringed. Yep, this was Selene. Then the dream flashed into a time skip. I watched. A man with godly looks came out of the dark shadows of the night. This seemed familiar.....

"Ah~ Silly girl, Celeste Irenos. It's time for your life to 𝗲𝗻𝗱."

Blood splattered and I could see the man laugh, "In the end you've been killed by me, Keon! Oh, yes, this is your punishment. You should've 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 tried to betray us!"

I froze. Of course. Even though the last words Keon was saying wasn't familiar, I remember Celeste's end.

It was death.
