31 Chapter 29

YUNKI'S POV.

"Can you please stay for sometime. Only until we finish our ice-creams? Please hyung." He asked and my thoughts went to Hyunki. Will he be ok? He is not alone as Mrs. Han is with him and it will not take long to finish an ice-cream. I can stay till that. Yeah that would be fine. So I nodded at him in agreement and he squeaked lightly with excitement and a chuckle escape from my lips at his cuteness. When he realized his action he averted his eyes and looked down on the ground and his lips formed a small but cute pout which made me chuckle again making his face even became redder than before which spread till the tips of his ears. Most of the times he really gets all shy and nervous in front of me. Though I don't know why but it's quite amusing for me. He hit on my shoulder lightly and muttered a small stop it which made me laugh even more. After some seconds of laughing my eyes went to him again and I realized he was watching me with his eyes slightly widened and mouth slightly opened. I looked at him with confused face and completely halted my small laughing session. "What?" I asked "You look more beautiful when you laugh hyung. You should do it often." It was now my turn to get all shy. I am not that fond of compliments so when someone does, I don't know how to respond to that and start feeling awkward. "Whatever lets go I am getting late." I said trying to gather my cool self back. He chuckled lightly and bought his ice-cream. I am amaze how much he knows about me. Hoseok really have developed a huge passion about sharing everything about me with his brothers and friends and most importantly my embarrassing stories. Last time he told one of his female friend from my class that I like to wear only shorts with teddy bears print on them while sleeping and that told almost everyone in the class making me feel embarrassed for whole two weeks in front of the class though I took my revenge by sharing Hoseok's ugly pictures on social media but that didn't stop him from spreading my personal stuffs among others. I think I need to talk to him alone 'peacefully'. I am happy that I was able to come up with an excuse about the ice cream. Actually Hyunki was whining to eat ice-cream even when I refused telling him that it won't be a very good idea to eat something unhealthy just after he started recovering but that little stubborn don't listen to anyone when it comes to ice-creams and chocolates thus forcing me to buy one for him. "Hyung there is a park nearby so...umm...if you want we can go there" "Yeah lets go" I muttered without glancing at him still awkward about the compliment and started walking ahead of him. When we finally reached there we sat on a bench. There were very few people as it is pretty late at night so almost half of the Seoul is already sleeping.

TAEHYUNG'S POV.

We both were sitting in silence eating our ice-creams well only I was eating as he haven't even opened the lid of the cup yet but it was not a comfortable silence at least for me as something inside me was urging me to speak, to talk to him. Come on Tae It was YOU who asked him to stay with him and now you are getting all nervous and shy. He must be thinking I am wasting his time. Speak something. "Hyung?" I spoke and he turned to look at me waiting for me to speak further. "Though Hobi hyung told me a lot about you" I said chuckling lightly at the thought of Hobi hyung blabbering about Yunki hyung for hours and he smiled in return while looking at his ice-cream. "But he never told me how you guys met?" I asked. He was silent for some seconds but then he spoke "We met in a party. A business party of our parents." He said while swinging his legs back and forth slightly. "Speaking of your parents, I have never heard you talk about your family ever and not even Hobi hyung have ever mentioned them." I asked curiously waiting for his reply. His swinging legs got stilled and his face darkened which send a shiver of fear through my body. I gulped and was ready to apologize when he spoke "I left my home." I shifted my gaze from him to the cone in my hands do not want to push the subject any further. "I am sorry if..." "It's ok. I don't care about it anymore." The silence was back but my mind was not silent. It was only thinking about his previous statement. His family is not with him and he is struggling with something but don't want anyone's help. Is it related with his family? I don't know why but a strong need to help him, to protect him surged through my body. "Hyung I know you don't think me as your close friend but always remember that I will always be there for you. If you ever need my help don't hesitate to ask. I want you to be happy, hyung." I don't know when we both started staring intensely into each others eyes. My eyes fell on his lips and back to his eyes and a strong emotion urged me to lean forward. I gulped but as like my mind was not in my control, I leaned forward, too slightly to even get noticed by me but his phone started ringing making me snapped back from my trance. "Hello?" "Yeah I am coming." "I was with one of my friend." "Yeah I will." He slipped his phone back in his pocket and stood up. "I have to go" He announced and I just nodded too embarrassed to look into his eyes anymore. "Lets go. I will drop you." He said "No it's fine. It's not that far I can go by myself." I said. Wanted to stay away from him sometime to sort out my feelings. "No way on earth I am leaving you here alone to go by yourself. It's pretty late and cold. Just come with me I am dropping you." he said and I rolled my eyes at his stubbornness but smiled afterwards at his concern for me. I nodded and stood up too. We both went back to Ice-cream parlour where he had parked his car nearby. During whole drive no one spoke and I was thankful for that. I was still feeling embarrassed about my previous thoughts. I just hope he didn't notice that. When we arrived I opened the car door and went out. "Thank you for spending time with me." I smiled genuinely and he gave me one in return while nodding. I closed the car's door and started walking towards the house's main door. He was still there making me confused so I turned to look at him with a confuse face. He smiled and said "To make sure you reach home safely." I blushed and the butterflies in my stomach started doing hip hop inside. I nodded and turned around and went into the house but stood still against the door. As I heard his car being driven away I screamed loudly to release my inner frustration. "Why the hell I thought to do that? With another man? How could I think of someone else other than Jimin?" I shouted at myself. I thought to call Jimin right then but after looking at time I decided to drop the idea. After taking a quick shower, I went to sleep in hope to forgot each and every embarrassing thing I did today.
