25 Chapter 23

NEXT DAY

NAMJOON'S POV. (HOSPITAL)

"Have you called them?" I asked Yunki hyung. "Yeah I have. They may arrive here soon. I am going to station till then you stay here ok?" "Don't worry bro I will be with him" with that he left. I sat on the couch with my eyes on a kid sleeping peacefully on hospital bed. "You are safe now champion." A smile appeared on my face on seeing his cute and innocent face. Then I remembered I haven't checked my phone since yesterday. I took out my phone from my jeans' pocket and found it's battery dead. I sighed and got up from the couch and went to door. I once again glanced back at him to found him still sleeping and then went out in search of a nurse. "Excuse me I want to charge my phone" I asked a nurse. "On that counter sir. There are chargers. Select one for your brand" I thanked her and went to the told counter and came back in the room with a charger. I plugged it there and again sat on the couch. My eyes are feeling heavy. I think I should take some rest now until they come back so I lay down on the couch and drifted to sleep.

YUNKI'S POV.

I was waiting at the station when I saw them I quickly went to them and greeted them while bowing "Hello Mr. Han. Hello Mrs. Han." Oh hello Yunki. It's nice seeing you after a whole year. You have become a lot more handsome. Got any boyfriend yet?" Mrs. Han asked me. "No Mrs. Han. Right now I just want to focus on Hyun Ki only." "You have to let go of the past son. And how Is my grand child?" She asked. "He is fine now. He misses you a lot." "We are really sorry son. We really wanted to come and check on you guys but Haneul had lot of work and you know at this age it is very hard to travel for us." she said. "I can understand." "But thanks for handling everything Yunki and we promise we are not going anywhere until our sunshine Hyunki gets fine." Mr. Han said and I smiled.

TIME SKIP

DURING DRIVE

"I am really sorry Mr. Han I don't have enough money to buy you an apartment but I will do something till that you can live with one of my friend." "No way son we are not going to trouble any of you and beside we have enough money to buy an apartment" "But Mr. Han won't that be a lot?" I asked a bit worried. "Anything for our son and little sunshine." I smiled at that and in few minutes we reached hospital. I helped them to get out of the car and to walk in the hospital. When we enter in Hyunki's room I sighed at the sight of sleeping Namjoon on the couch. He must be really tired as he was here since yesterday. I heard a muffled cry beside and turned my head to see Mrs. Han crying while putting both of her palms on . "M-my baby" she choked and went to Hyunki's bed and sat on the stool near the bed. She started running her fingers through his hairs with tears still falling from her eyes. Mr. Han went and stand beside her. He started caressing her shoulder to calm her down but I could see his tears in the corner of his eyes. I went near Namjoon and shook him lightly to wake him up and after second attempt he finally opened his eyes. When he realized mine and Han couple's presence in the room he got up and rubbed his eyes to get rid of remaining tiredness. He bowed to them and they nodded at him smiling. "Namjoon you should go home and take rest. You are really tired" I said and he nodded in understanding. He removed his phone from charger, put in the pocket and bowed again to Han couple and left. "I will bring something to eat for you guys." I said and they just nodded so I left.

NAMJOON'S POV.

Thank god I took a nap or else I wouldn't able to even drive. I sat in the car and was about to start it when my phone beeped. I took it out and saw a message from Hoseok. 'Is Suga hyung with you?' and there were many calls and messaged from Jin too. 'Hey are you coming home?' 'I am missing you Joonie' 'Ok fine I won't disturb you. You must be busy right? But remember I am waiting for you' 'It's almost 1:00 at midnight and you are still not here? Where are you?' 'Are you that angry?' I sighed at the them and decided to reply Hoseok only as for Jin, I can talk to him directly. 'Yes he is with me at my apartment. Don't worry.' I replied hoping him to buy that lie and his reply came almost immediately. 'Oh thank god I thought he is again hiding something but if he is with you then it's ok.' I was feeling bad for lying him but this is not my place to say anything as it is Suga hyung's personal matter. I put my phone back and started driving. As soon as I reached my apartment I went to take a bath as my clothes have started to smell like chloroform, cleaning agents, medicines, patients and a lot more which clearly . After a long hot bath I laid on my comfy bed and quickly drifted to dream land.

TIME SKIP.

I woke up with my stomach growling. I don't want to but I have to get up and eat something to shut my stupid stomach up. I removed the blankets and got up with a big yawn. I wore my slippers and went out of the room. When I was going to kitchen my eyes fell on a piece of paper on dinning table. I went near it to grab it and found that it was a letter from Jin.

Hey babe:)

I know you are still angry with me and I deserve it. How could I be that stupid to even doubt you, my boy friend? I know a small sorry won't make it up and I am ready to do whatever you want. Just please forgive me. I came here yesterday but you weren't here so I made your favorite food but you never came back. I waited in morning too but still you didn't come back. I called you messaged you many times but you replied to none. I am sorry Namjoon I really am. You don't know how guilty I am feeling right now. Please I can bear anything but I can't live without you. I love you. Please forgive me. You must be thinking right now that why am I writing a letter when I can say all those things to you directly. I wanted to say Namjoon but my dad called me for some important meeting in Gwacheon and my presence is necessary so I had to leave even if I was dying to see you. And also I have to talk to you about something very important but I couldn't write it on paper as it would be better to talk directly. I will tell you as soon as I will come back ok? Till that remember that I love you.

A smile appeared on my face after reading his letter but then I realized I cannot meet him now. Still I decided to try my luck so I took out my phone from my pajama's pocket and called him but it only went to voicemail. I again tried but got the same result. I sighed and decided to wait for night when he will be free and hopefully not tired. Then my stomach growled again reminding my main reason to come here so I went in kitchen to find a sticky note on fridge. I picked it up and read.

If you haven't read my letter yet then go to dinning table and also I made breakfast for you please eat it ok? Love you. See you soon. :)

I chuckled at his cuteness and opened freeze to see Kimchi fried rice. I heat it up and then went to dinning table to eat.
