Aj went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. She grabbed a pair of light ripped jeans, a purple top, and a black leather jacket. She took them to the bathroom and placed them on a shelf. She set up her phone on that same shelf and played her playlist. Today had been stressful after meeting the team, Buck fighting with Loki, Loki flirting with her. She smiled as the hot water embraced her. She sang along with the music. She washed her hair not wanting to miss the get-together and got out. She grabbed a towel which she noticed to be very fluffy. She combed through her hair and put on the clothes she had picked out then looked in the mirror then the clock seeing it was quarter to 8:00. She walked out of the bathroom to see Loki sitting on her bed.
"You have a lovely singing voice, my dear," Loki said not in his usual smirking tone, it was almost sincere. Aj raised one eyebrow and looked at him.
"What are you doing here?" She asked placing her phone on the bedside table.
"Did you know, you look a lot like your brother, same shoulder-length brown hair and piercing blue eyes."
"Thank you, but again, why are you here?" She demanded.
"Well, I wanted to apologize for tonight." He started but was quickly cut off by Aj.
"Like when you were rude to me the first time we met or was it when you got in a fight with my brother?" She smirked.
"All of it." He said taking her off guard. From what Tony had told her, Loki was nothing but trouble. "I have nothing against you, truly, I just am quite rude to people I don't know." He said.
"I can tell." She responded bluntly.
"But, I do find an interest in your powers." He said motioning for her to sit down beside him. When she did he took her hands in his.
"What do you mean?" She asked a little intrigued now.
"Well you see, none of the avengers here have any real power other than Wanda and vision. Everyone else has suits or machinery. You have powers."
"Yeah, but I only have them because Hydra gave them to me," Aj said looking down. Loki pulled her chin up so she was looking at her. He smirked before leaning in and brushing his lips across hers sending a shiver down her spine. He leaned close to her ear and whispered in a heavy voice,
"I believe you have them for a reason." He got up leaving Aj very confused. He stopped in the doorway turned around and winked just as Sam came to the door. Sam glared at Loki as he left.
"What did he want?" Sam asked leaning against the door frame.
"Uh, he wanted to apologize?" Aj said turning quickly to hide the fact that she was blushing. Sam knew she was blushing and hoped Steve would tell her already.
"You know Loki's is bad news right?" Sam told her hoping she wouldn't fall for him. Not only so Steve could have a chance but also he didn't want to see her getting hurt even though they had only just met.
"That's what everyone says but I don't see it," Aj said getting up off the bed and heading toward Sam.
"If you say so." Sam raised both eyebrows. "You know you aren't that bad being Bucky's sister and all." Sam laughed.
"Oh yeah, I heard you two didn't get along." She laughed and they both headed downstairs.

"Aj! You're here! This is Peter." Tony said introducing Aj to a kid who looked very nervous.
"Hey, Peter. I'm Aj, or Allie Jane, whatever you prefer." She said holding out her hand to shake it. Peter lightly grabbed her hand and shook it giving her a small smile.
"Um, Mr. Stark said you have like ice powers or something?" He asked.
"Yeah, I do. Wanna see?" She asked backing up a little. Peter nodded his head. Aj quickly moved her hands around to create snow on the floor. Peter gave the biggest smile and said,
"Oh my God, that's amazing!" the other Avengers came into the room and laughed seeing Peter sitting in the snow.
"You better be able to pick that up," Tony growled.
"Duh." She said and moved her hands around again making the snow disappear.
"So cool," Peter whispered. He ran and sat down in front of the Tv to put in a movie as the rest of the team came and sat down in the chairs and on the couches. Aj goes and sits next to Bucky on the couch. Steve goes to sit next to her but Loki beats him to it. Steve sighs and goes to sit next to Sam.
"I'm not going to be able to tell her if she's sitting next to Loki." Steve leans his head back onto the wall.
"You can tell her after the movie. When we all have drinks after Peter leaves." Sam suggested. Steve nodded and looked over at Loki and Aj. Loki was saying something to make her laugh, Steve just wished he was the one making her laugh.

"Buck, what's wrong?" Aj asked looking over at her brother who obviously had something bothering him.
"Look how upset Steve is." He responded motioning over to Steve who most definitely looked upset. Aj knitted her eyebrows together.
"Do you know what's wrong?" She asked Bucky who just shrugged his shoulders. "I'll ask him later tonight."

After the movie, Peter headed home and everyone moved to the bar for a quick drink. They all sat around talking and laughing and well, drinking. Steve mostly stood with Sam drinking but unfortunately not being able to get drunk. Aj was talking with Thor and Loki while Bucky sat with Nat observing Aj and Loki.
"What the hell is his problem?" Bucky asked.
"Its obvious isn't it?" Nat said taking a drink. "He likes her."
"What?! No, he can't love, or like, or whatever it is he can't do it." Bucky said frustrated. He just got Aj back and wasn't going to let Loki break her heart.
"Don't do anything stupid, you just got her back," Nat warned. Bucky stopped and sighed.
"you're right Nat. I just don't want to see her getting hurt."

"So this one time when we were children, Loki transformed himself into a snake, because he knows I love snake. And when I picked it up to admire it he turned back into himself and was like blaggh it's me and stabbed me. We were 8." Thor laughed.
"Really? You guys were 8?" Aj laughed.
"He tells that story every time we meet someone new. I believe I've heard that story like 12 times this week." Loki joked making Aj smile.
"Oh, brother stop trying to impress the girl. Shes Barnes sister, remember? I bet he won't let you touch her." Thor laughed clearly joking. Loki gave a smirk and Thor quickly learned his mistake. "Loki I was only joking, continue trying to impress." Thor pleaded.
"Oh I'm not going to do anything, Aj dear would you like another drink?" He asked eyeing the bar where Bucky and Nat sat.
"Well, it's not like I can get drunk." Thor cocked an eyebrow at her comment. "Thor, I'm a super soldier, like Steve and Bucky. We cant get drunk." She laughed.
"Ah, I see."
"So yes Loki, I would like another drink, thank you," Aj said turning back to Loki.
"Anything for you." He winked and headed over to Bucky and sat down beside him. Aj thinking nothing of it turned back to Thor.
"I don't mean to be rude but, Loki isn't the best person to fall for," Thor said.
"I know, everyone has already told me that. I haven't even fallen for him so I don't understand why people keep saying it." Aj said lifting her chin.

"Hello there, James," Loki said as he sat down.
"What do you want Loki?" Nat said annoyed.
"A moment to talk with Barnes." He half-smiled. Nat rolled her eyes and left to talk with Hope and Wanda.
"Okay, what is it Loki?"
"How has Aj been?" He smirked seeing Bucky get angry.
"Don't touch my sister or so help me!"
"Or what? You'll punch me? I'm the god of mischieve." Loki got up and walked back over to Aj and Thor, Bucky watching his every move.
"Oh, Loki you're back." Aj smiled.
"Sorry I didn't get the drinks. Tony finished them off." He laughed. He looked over his shoulder to see if Bucky was still watching and he was. Loki made sure Aj was facing him. "Aj, there's something I want to do."
"What tha-" She was cut off by Loki putting his hand on her hip and kissing her. The room went silent. You could practically hear Bucky's anger. Loki pulled away and Aj blushed and looked down. Steve quietly left the room and Sam quickly followed.
"Oh my God. Loki kissed Steve's girl, Oh, and Bucky's sister. He's gonna get beaten up." Tony yelled very clearly drunk. Bucky stood up and Multiple people tried to calm him down as he started towards Loki, who was smirking at the mess. Thor pulled Loki aside and started yelling at him.
"What were you thinking? Look at the mess you've made." Thor yelled.
"I know, its exactly what I wanted," he smirked. Then it clicked.
"You don't like her, do you?" Thor almost whispered.
"No, well maybe a little but it doesn't matter," Loki responded
"She likes you Loki? Cant, you see that. Now, look what you've done!"

"Calm down Buck, its alright," Wanda said trying to pull him back.
"That bastard kissed my sister!" He yelled.
"We know, but please." Rhodey pleaded. Nat tried pushing Bucky back down to the chair but he just pushed back.
