"Tell me where it is!" Adrian yelled spitting at Aj.
"Never!" She screamed.
Adrain wanted to try getting information from her again. He had taken her to a new room where her arms were tied to the ceiling and she hung from it. Since her wounds had healed from when they tortured her last he thought now was a good enough time to try again.
"Guards." He said walking out of the room and slamming the door.
The guards took bats from the table in the corner and started beating her. After they thought that was good enough they took the plate rings and started punching her in the face and stomach till she was dripping blood.
"Is that all you got?" She laughed spitting blood at their faces. One of the guards had, had enough he took a bat and hit her in the back of the head knocking her out.

The rest of the Avengers started trucking up the mountain to the base watching for any agents. It wasn't much of a walk but it would take at least another few hours, maybe 2.
"How long do you think it will take?" Bucky said with puppy eyes as he looked at Steve who gave him a worried look,
"About 2 hours, at least that's what Tony predicted," Steve said looking back ahead.
"Why can't he, Rhodey, Scott, Hope, and Wanda just fly up there?" Bucky whined.
"Tony just did a sweep to check out the base, we need everyone if we're gonna get in." Steve explained.
"Okay," Bucky sighed.

Aj woke up with a splitting headache but that was the least of her pain. Most of her ribs were broken and blood was still dripping from everywhere. She had bruises covering her face, arms, stomach, and legs. She coughed spitting up blood. She looked at the blood on the floor and that's when she realized where she was.
"Welcome back sleeping beauty." Adrian joked. "Are you ready to forget everyone you've ever loved." A smirk formed on his lips.
"Please," She whispered not being able to speak after being choked and punched in the throat.
"What was that? Sorry, I couldn't hear you." Adrian laughed.
Aj tried pulling her hands and legs from the restraints but with the amount of wounds she had she could hardly move. She winced as the pain hit her side, thinking it was just from moving too much she thought it would go away. But when she started feeling a burning pain everywhere in her body. She screamed, arching her back, and struggling to escape the restraints.
"Ah, I see it's finally kicking in," Adrian stated. Aj opened her eyes enough to give him a confused look. "That serum that quote on quote didn't hurt? It kicks in almost 2 hours after its been injected." He laughed as he watched her in pain.
"Make it stop!" She screamed. The first serum hurt but not as much as this one did. When she first got her powers, that serum didn't hurt as this one did.
"Sorry, I can't do that." He smirked. Aj continued to scream in pain for about 15 minutes. Ice cold tears ran down her face as the pain flowed through her. As the pain left her body she tried catching her breath having trouble steading it.
"Oh did it finally wear off?" Adrian laughed walking back into the room. Still breathing deeply Aj gave him a hard glare. "Better catch your breath, we're gonna start soon." He smiled.
Aj could feel the color leaving her face, she leaned back and closed her eyes. She prayed Bucky would find her before she forgot him again. She knew that with the added serum she could beat him in a fight and probably kill him. A silent tear raced down her face.

The Avengers had fought off the guards posted outside and were inside. Tony, Sam, and Rhodey were flying above.
"I didn't realize how big this place was," Scott said sitting on Steve soldier.
"You're literally as small as an ant," Sam said sarcastically over the coms.
"But he's right, this is one of the biggest bases we've been to," Nat whispered.
They all stopped when they heard screaming. Everyone turned towards Bucky who was white as a ghost.
"Bucky?" Steve whispered.
"Aj," He said staring in the direction of the scream. Everyone ran towards the scream but were stopped by a wall.
"What the fu-" Clint started.
"Language," Steve said also confused. They all turned back the way they had come to see more than a few Hydra agents holding guns to them.
"Does anyone have a plan?" Wanda asked.
"Yeah, attack," Scott said
"Hey, that's my line!" Tony whined.

Aj screamed as her memories were ripped away from her, turning her back into that monster they had created. She tried picturing Bucky the entire time hoping she wouldn't lose him. She pictured him at the tower laughing with Steve, she pictured them back in the 40's swimming in the river. After a while, she couldn't figure out who she was trying to remember.
"Тень, ready for combat?" Adrian asked.
"Yes," Aj responded. She could tell she wasn't where she needed to be but she needed to listen to these people.
"Why does she still speak English?" Adrian asked the scientist.
"They took out her trigger words, so we only have her trigger noises, that means, for now, it's not as strong. Plus this is only the first session. We will need to get her new trigger words but again for right now we will just use her trigger noises." The scientist explained.
"But she will still listen to anything and everything I say?" Adrian asked looking a bit concerned.
"Yes,"
"Excellent. Тень, get your gear."
"Yes sir," Aj said walking out the door and to the equipment room which 2 guards took her to.

The team fought off the agents and were now walking down a random hallway.
"Tony? Anything?" Steve asked over the coms.
"Sorry Cap, I can't see anything from up here. Neither can Rhodes or Wilson." Tony responded earning a sigh from Steve.
"We'll find her," Wanda said putting a hand on Steve's shoulder and looking over at Bucky who had the same cold dead look in his eyes when he was the under Hydras control.
"Buck?" Steve asked calmly.
"Let's go," Bucky stated in a cold tone.
They all whipped their heads around when they heard a bullet shot. They all looked to see a bullet in the wall behind them. They all got their weapons out and stood ready to fight.
An agents shot at Steve who quickly put his shield up, he then threw it knocking out 2 of the agents. It was clear the Avengers were outnumbered.
"Bruce?" Nat yelled over the coms shooting an agent in the shoulder.
"Nat? Are you oka- are you guys okay?" He asked.
"We need you." She said.
"I'll be there in a minute."
"Code greens coming guys!" Nat yelled to everyone in the room. When Nat looked back at everyone she realized most of the agents had retreated.
"What the hell?" She asked.
"They all ran as you were talking to Bruce," Scott explained.
"It was weird. They didn't even really run they more of walked away all scary like." Peter said making a face.
"Something is definitely up," Steve said looking around shield ready.
"Bruce I don't think we need you right yet. But definitely be read." Nat whispered.
"Everything okay?" Bruce asked.
"Ah!" Clint yelled out in pain. Everyone turned to see Clint on the floor with blood seeping out of his shoulder. Wanda quickly went to help him.
Everyone turned toward where they thought it came from but there wasn't anyone different in the room.
"Wanda? Was he sh-" HOPE TURNED TO SEE Wanda unconscious on the floor with Clint beside her. Hope now ran to there aid. "Wanda?"
Everyone turned to see what Hope was seeing.
"Tony we need backup. Now!" Steve whispered over the coms.
"On it," Tony responded. "Is Peter okay?" He asked worried that Peter may have gotten hurt.
"He's fine Tony," Steve said turning to Peter who was slumped against the wall now unconscious like Wanda.
"Guy's what the hell is happening?" Scot asked not getting an answer. Everyone was now on their toes.
"Scott, let's see if we can see anything," Hope said not looking up from Clint. When she didn't get an answer she turned to see him out as well.
"Everyone, quiet," Nat said trying to see if she could hear whoever was in the room. There was a sudden click of a trigger and everyone turned towards the noise.
"Steve?" Bucky asked confused not understanding why he was pale.
