35 Chapter 35: A Slight Hiccup.

Turles spent his time as wisely as he could. A critical part of his plans to ensure the survival of Universe 7 was coming soon after the end of the Namek Saga. He avoided both Frieza and King Cold until they called for him. Depending on their decision would shape how the Android/Cell Saga begins. Either everything goes to normal, and they head to Earth for revenge, or both Frieza and King Cold will besiege Turles to rid the monkey who has the possibility to become a Legendary Super Saiyan. Just like the one who nearly killed Frieza.

Now that he was thinking about it, that was sounding a little enticing… A fight where he'll have to hold nothing back against the remaining members of the Frieza Family? His blood was surging at the thought of it. But Turles cooled his head. He would get into a fight regardless of which option the Wicked Bloodline would decide, either on Earth or on this planet.

In his mental space, Turles was facing off against all three members of the frost demon bloodline. Cooler's brutal but calculative style of fighting combined with Frieza's wild and untrained fighting style was a good challenge. Adding King Cold's tendency to use brute force and his huge body along with those two was even more difficult. Overall, it was incredibly fun.

If he dropped his guard even for a second, a beam would pierce his chest, or a hole would be found in his torso, or he would be riddled with holes by several beams. Saiyan blood was really inconvenient sometimes. Just the thought of possibly dying in a hard-fought battle was acceptable to his DNA. However, Turles would do his best to keep it in check. If everything went right, he could be as careless as he wants after this saga. Even Majin Buu won't stand a chance against him in any of his forms.

"C-Captain Turles. Lord Frieza has demanded your appearance at the bridge of the ship." A soldier politely knocked on his door and said outside the door.

Turles rose from his meditative position. "Thank you. I'll be right there." He responded. Beyond the door, Turles could hear the soldier quickly fleeing by the sounds of his rapidly stepping footsteps. The fact that people were terrified of him still hasn't registered completely with him yet. Fear was a useful tool for leading, but fear alone wasn't enough to efficiently lead.

Making his way to the bridge, Turles politely greeted any soldiers along the way. It was still amusing to see them frantically attempt to show proper etiquette to their superior. Turles was wondering if Frieza was going to be expecting that out of him soon. He wasn't going to bow completely like he did years ago when he was a nameless Saiyan, but would still be cordial. Lord Frieza was still his boss, even if he was stronger than him now.

When Turles entered the room, both King Cold and Mecha Frieza immediately stared at him. Turles didn't smile, he didn't show any cockiness or optimism, and he certainly didn't show any weakness. He gave a slight bow of his head and greeted his superior. "I have received your command, Lord Frieza." His tail swished from side to side before locking eyes with the mechanized version of his boss.

Turles watched as a dangerous amount of energy flowed out of Lord Frieza's body. He clenched his fists until blood flowed from his hands. The grip on his throne-like seat was steadily cracking, getting closer and closer to shattering. It was even possible to hear Lord Frieza's teeth grinding from a few feet away.

"I can't! I can't! I can't! I can't accept this!" Frieza screamed as Turles felt himself being blasted out of the ship and halfway across the planet.

He could've dodged it. It was certainly possible. Turles saw the beam coming as soon as it gathered in front of Frieza's palms. A sigh escaped his lungs for his naivety. The man had just nearly died for the first time in his life, and the nearly identical replica of his would-be killer appeared in front of him. Maybe it was too much to expect from Lord Frieza to accept him so soon. Dying or nearly dying is a traumatic experience. It's only logical to act irrationally when reminded of it just after surviving it.

"No more monkeys! No more monkeys, I say!" Mecha Frieza repeated.

Lord Frieza raised his hands to the air as a Death Ball formed above him. It quickly grew from the size of a dot to a planet-destroying ball of death. Turles looked up as he patted the dust off of his armor. King Cold appeared next to Frieza and helped him pour more energy into his attack. King Cold stared at him as if regretful. He could see several ships flying off the planet rapidly at this moment as they poured more and more of their energy into the Death Ball.

Turles instant transmissioned next to Lord Frieza and King Cold. The two made a noise of surprise as he clocked both of them in the jaw with his elbows. They lost control over their Father-Son Death Ball as Turles brutally beat them down at the same time. His fist nearly impaled King Cold with a devastating punch. When he turned to face Lord Frieza, he kneed him in the chest hard enough to cause some of his mechanical armor to break loose. In the middle of this, he shot a beam of ki to the death ball above, sending it into space.

The force of his blows incapacitated the two. Turles beat both father and son until they were nothing more than bloodied, bruised, and swollen in front of him. He didn't even need to transform into his Oozaru form to overwhelm them. That would be overkill at this point.

Just as he gave them a moment to breathe, Lord Frieza tried saying something. "Save it, Lord Frieza. Go cool off in hell." Captain Turles incinerated the remaining bloodline of the Frieza Family with a Dual Calamity Blaster.

The purple Kamehameha-like beams reduced them to dust. Leaving Turles the only one remaining on the planet. All the other soldiers fled using the spaceships. He couldn't help but sigh again. He should make a mental health division or something for the soldiers to help them avoid making suicidal decisions.

It looks like he was the one heading to Earth. This was going to change things a bit, but not by much. Turles clicked a button on his scouter and began broadcasting to the entire Frieza Force. "King Cold and Lord Frieza have tragically died due to unforeseen circumstances. As the strongest member of the Planet Trade Organization, I, Turles, will temporarily be taking command of the Planet Trade Organization until further notice. If anyone has any issues with this, I have no problem with discussing it with you personally at a later date. I hope it will be a pleasure working with you all. For now, continue business as usual." Turles relayed.

Goku stared down the two half-Saiyan children. As the two stood in front of him, ready to go, he couldn't help but get a little excited. Although he could only finish one part of Elder Pybara's teachings, he still learned a lot while on this planet. If he and Frieza were to fight again, Goku was confident in defeating him without any trouble, even if he powered up to full power.

Just as they were about to begin, the two suddenly dropped their fighting stances. Goku could hear some sound coming from their scouters. From how they were listening to it, it must be pretty important. He prepared himself on the off-chance that they would suddenly begin attacking the planet. Goku might have thought it was a blast to train and get to know these people, but he hadn't forgotten they were still Frieza's people at the end of the day.

"Our apologies," Basil spoke to him. "Our father just told us something important."

"We can still fight, Goku! Let's go!" Bon excitedly pumped her fist.

"Alright, let's do this." Goku got ready, also a little bit excited.

The two kids looked at each other before rushing toward him in two different directions. Goku blocked Bon's punch aimed at his temple while hopping over Basil's low kick. He palmed Bon away while diving down to stomp on Basil. Basil kicked up toward Goku's foot and launched him into the air. Bon suddenly appeared above him as he flew up, her hands brought together to slam down on his head. He'd teleport above her if he had a little more practice with the Instant Transmission technique. But he still hasn't reached their skill level with the technique where they can use it in the middle of a fight nearly instantly.

To compensate, Goku had to spare extra energy by constantly sensing their ki signatures. He turned and blocked Bon's attack but was still sent flying toward the ground, where he assumed Basil was waiting. 'To the right?!' Goku sensed Basil's energy suddenly showing up next to him and barely managed to block his kick aimed at his midsection.

Then Bon popped up on the other side of him with an attack of her own. Goku was kept on his toes by the kids constantly teleporting all around him. Barely giving him any chance to breathe or retaliate. If he didn't do something drastic, these two would tire him to death before he could ever land a hit on them!

"Haha, this is fun! You two are really good! I hope you don't mind if I take things up a notch. Kaio-ken!"

"Whoa! What's that technique!?" Bon looked at Goku with amazement as he turned even redder than her brother!

"You've grown at least twice as strong," Basil noted as he sensed Goku's new power.

"Just twice?! That's not enough to beat us, Goku! You'll need something that makes you stronger than at least ten times if you want to defeat one of us. For both of us, twenty times as strong!" Bon proudly boasted.

"Don't tell our opponents how strong we are." Basil reminded his sister. "Remember what Dad taught us?"

"Don't worry! If I beat him hard enough, he won't remember anymore!" Bon tried to play off her mistake with her own logic as she rushed at Goku.
