12 Chapter 12: Meeting a Member of the Ginyu Force!

"You will need a sense of style if you're going to continue learning under me." General Zarbon said.

"I don't think a sense of style is going to help me much in a fight." Turles tried to reason with the beauty maniac.

"My student will not be a mindless brute who lacks wisdom and grace. Leave that for that disgusting Dodoria and those under him." Zarbon replied.

"Sorry, teach, going against my biology will weaken me. At a Saiyan's core, beauty and grace are pointless things." Turles decided to be upfront with him.

"What are you going on about?" Zarbon held his face in his hands with an exasperated sigh.

"To put it simply, I can't become the first Saiyan with grace and beauty. It's not in our nature. It's like if you were trying to turn the Frieza Force into the Galatic Patrol. Completely impossible." Turles shrugged.

"Fine. Just don't embarrass me, or I'll kill you." Zarbon gave up one of his hidden goals of training this monkey.

"Yes, sir!" Turles readied himself for a fight.

Time passed with Turles training under Zarbon and getting his body destroyed on a daily basis. It was far more efficient training this way instead of going against saibamen, whose power level he was far above by now. His training with Zarbon was also considered more important than going out on missions to conquer planets. Turles didn't understand why and was somewhat upset by this, as this actively hindered his chances of finding the Seed of Might.

Overall, he was content but could always do with more. His power was rapidly growing thanks to Zarbon's brutal training, and it didn't take long for it to nearly reach half of Zarbon's own after he realized how fast Turles's power grew after beating him half to death on a daily basis. In fact, Turles could even sense a hint of fear or pride when Zarbon looked at him. Several months passed until anything of substance happened.

Lord Frieza needed Zarbon's assistance, and Turles could no longer rely on Zarbon's beatings for quick growth. He was back to training on his own. The saibamen were useless, with his power level now above 10,000. If Zarbon didn't gain an interest in him, he would've been stuck with two options. Roaming around the ship picking fights with people stronger than himself, or doing suicidal training and relying on Naba to take him to the medical room after he was finished.

"We've been doing this for months! When is it going to be over?!" Naba questioned him.

"I'm training. Just keep thinking." Turles had his hand on top of her head.

Turles was trying to learn how to use telepathy. This was an incredibly useful skill that was horribly underused in the series. Just being able to read someone's mind and memories would be a great help for his future plans of conquering the multiverse. Forget the Tournament of Power, forget Jiren, forget Moro, and forget that stupid Granola bar brat. Universe 7 would be his as long as he carefully follows his plans and destroys any threats to those plans.

"I'm thinking! Are we done yet?" Naba felt embarrassed with this stupid brat's hand on her head for so long.

"It's only been a few minutes. You're exaggerating. I'm even being generous and owing you a favor like the good friend I am. When we both know this isn't even worth a favor from someone like me." Turles told her.

"Shut up. You want your training, I'm not doing it for free. I'm not a sucker anymore." Naba crossed her arms as she laughed at him. 'Hahahaha. You might've got promoted higher than me, but I'm still your only friend you can rely on for crap like this.'

"Oh, keep thinking." Turles grinned as he sent his ki deeper into Naba's mind.

Memories began to flow inside his own. At the surface, he gained Naba's current thoughts. As he dug deeper, he began to mentally visualize her day. Her waking up, showering, and eating, but this wasn't what he wanted to see. He started to read her memories of the days before. Her interactions with the Frieza Force without him. Their time in the canteen. Her watching him in the training room. The first time they met. Then Turles began to see her life before joining the Frieza Force.

Naba lived on a normal planet as an orphan. She made a living by pickpocketing, stealing, and foraging through the trash until she was taken pity on by an old man. He treated her like a pet, occasionally leaving out cooked food for her. Day by day, they slowly grew closer to each other. Naba never knew why the old man took her in, but eventually, he started teaching her everything he knew. How to speak, how to act like a person, how to cook, and how to build and fix.

Then the Frieza Force invaded her planet and enslaved their people. Naba used her talents taught by the old man and found a place for herself among her oppressors. Turles was surprised. From what he could tell, she didn't hold any negative feelings for the Frieza Force. After all, the old man died a natural death, and Naba found herself a place in society. A place on top. A far cry from what she was used to growing up as an orphan child.

"I'm done." Turles lifted his hand.

"I couldn't imagine having to look up to everyone like that all the time." Naba got up from the floor in the training room.

"I'll get my growth spurt in a…" Turles began counting his fingers. "When I'm around 15 or 18." He had to think back to the original Dragon Ball with Goku's aging. Plus, he didn't know his actual age.

"Why is it so specific!?" Naba looked at him like he was an anomaly.

"Saiyan genes." Turles shrugged.

"And who told you this exactly? Is information just built into your 'Saiyan DNA?'" Naba curled her fingers.

"Who knows?" Turles grinned.

"Are we done now?" Naba asked.

"Yep. Now, I gotta go bully someone real quick. If I'm lucky, it'll be shorter. If I'm not, I might nearly die a few times in the process. I finally managed to find him." Turles left her with that.

Naba looked at Turles as if he was insane. Bully? Since when did he act like a bully?! Even when idiots picked a fight with him because of his reputation as the Weakest Saiyan, he usually spared them. Turles didn't start fights. Not even with Prince Vegeta and his attendants anymore. But he did make sure to finish them if someone started trouble with him.

"Who are you going to… bully…?" He was already gone.

"Teach me your special technique, or I'll kill you." Turles held up Guldo by his armor.

Turles had Guldo raised up from the ground as his other hand glowed with frightening purple energy. Guldo looked completely surprised by this turn of events. Neither of them has had a single interaction with each other before. This was their first meeting ever.

"Who?! What!? A filthy saiyan dares threaten me?!" Guldo saw his swaying tail.

"Hey, bad breath. I gave you two options." Turles slammed Guldo into the ground.

Guldo bounced from the force of the slam as all four of his eyes widened in shock and pain. Turles followed up by crushing his foot into the rising Guldo, slamming him straight back into the ground. He then started to grind his boot into Guldo's chest, with the green four-eyed alien crying out in pain. Turles saw him about to take a deep breath and pressed down with even more force.

"Teach me. Teach me, Teach me," Turles repeatedly tortured Guldo like a sadistic child.

He didn't allow him to take a breath. Guldo continued to cry out in horrible pain until Turles finally got to hear the sounds he wanted to hear. Guldo began begging and pleading. But Guldo was a crafty one. He hasn't survived as the weakest member of the Ginyu Force for so long by chance. That Time Stop ability of his was a real bitch. An absolutely indispensable tool that Turles wanted in his skill kit no matter what.

"I'll teach you!!! I promise!!! I give you my word as a member of the Ginyu Force!" Guldo vowed.

"Oh really? Then let's go." Turles kicked Guldo down the hallway with a smile.

He bounced off the walls and rolled past other Frieza Force soldiers, who simply watched in amazement and horror. This was a new side of Turles that they'd never seen before. Turles continued kicking Guldo down the hall until he made it to his training room. Naba was no different from the other soldiers when she recognized the four-eyed green roly poly rolling into her training room.

Turles closed the door with a grin before Naba could say anything. Naba's station was then swarmed by dozens of other Frieza Soldiers looking at the cameras into the training room. "Get back! Get off me, or I'll tell Turles to bring you idiots in there with him!" Naba shouted. This threat held power as the soldiers immediately backed up and stop suffocating Naba. They eagerly watched the cameras together.

"Now, how do I use your special technique?" Turles crouched down to Guldo's level.

"You need psychic power…" Guldo wheezed.

"Yea, I know that much. Go into detail, idiot." Turles grabbed Guldo's head and began reading his memories.

"You left yourself wide open, fool!" Guldo disappeared from Turles's hand.

Turles felt pain erupt all over his body before sensing Guldo absolutely exhausted behind him. Guldo's power dropped dramatically. In a single moment, he kicked Guldo in the stomach despite his injuries. Blood, spit, and vomit expelled from Guldo's mouth as he went flying around the training room like a rubber ball. When his momentum stopped, and he was a sobbing blubbering mess, Turles grabbed him by the head and continued to read his memories.

Guldo was a lot older than he looked. He was a grown man by the time when Vegeta was still in diapers. It didn't take that long to get the memories related to his techniques and throw out the useless ones about his daily life. While Guldo continued to groan and moan, Turles began putting into practice the memories he's just received. He took a deep breath.

Failure. Turles didn't properly control his psychic energy. Another deep breath and failure. Only after the umpteenth time did Turles finally get the hang of using psychic power. Strangely enough, it was a different source of energy that wasn't ki. While ki taxes the body, telekinesis taxed his mind. They both used energy but from a different kind of source. It was strange and rather exciting to learn. Something to fall back on if he runs out of ki.

Turles dragged Guldo out of the training room with his tail hooked in his armor. He didn't show off that he stole Guldo's technique at all while in the training room. He could sense all of the powers outside watching them. To them, he looked like a batshit insane maniac torturing Guldo for no reason and then doing some weird breathing practices. That was no skin off his back.

"Hey, guys. Please excuse me. Gotta drop my sparring partner off to the medical room." Turles politely asked.

The crowd split apart immediately and bowed toward Turles. "Take it easy, guys. As long as you mind your manners and treat your fellow soldiers with respect, I don't care much about what you do. Don't forget, at the end of the day. We're all soldiers under Lord Frieza. We need to work together and build each other up." Turles inwardly laughed after spouting some bullshit.

"Yes, sir!" They all continued to bow while shaking.
