Chapter 10: Job

It's Morning , The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene. The just-risen sun shone softly in the room.

Jenna's face shone brightly as she gave a glowing smile like a summer sunrise.

She rolled over to the left, as she smiled widely.

Then it strucked her, she was on bed? But how???

She quickly sat up as she leaned her back on the headboard slat. She then turned to the sofa which was by the window. 

That's where I slept!. She pointed.

How then I'm I on bed? She asked herself.

She then turned to the other side of the bed, but she didn't see Arnold.

He just have left to his room. She shrugged.

She got off the bedvabd walked to the couch, then she placed her hand on it.. It's wet, and cold, she then looked up to the window which was condensed, the moist air came into contact with the cold impermeable of the window, then it releases some of the moisture onto the glass as water droplets.

It rained last night, she said to herself with her eyes still fixed on the window .

That means, Mr Arnold tucked me bed?? Oh my God! Oh my God!!. But wait, did he sleep on the bed or he left???  She wondered.

She was happy that The gorgeous looking man held her in his arms and also tucked her in bed.

That hot guy actually touched her?? For the first time?? Ahhh!!! She screamed for joy

To her she saw Arnold as a big celebrity, you'll know that joy you get when a Superstar holds you in his arms.. Hehehe!!

That's it!! That's what Jenna felt right now!

I wonder if he stared at me with those dreamy eyes, oh my God! Hope i didn't drool while I as asleep?  She prayed.

She was so excited to see his face again. She so adored him, especially those hot abs! , lovely hair! Everything! . He's what they call ' too good to be true' he looked like a Prince from a fantasy novel, he was just too beautiful for this world.

Girls drooled over him, he had attention of all the gitod each time he stepped out.

She remembered the incident that happened at the Mall yesterday, a girl almost fainted upon seeing Arnold.

(Chuckles)

That was so funny! Wish I had videoed it. She laughed.

But.. Why was he cold to everyone? He actually knows how to care. Well, he isbr so bad after all.  She blushed as she copper her face with both hands and then Arnold image poped up in her head. She smiled sweetly then she sighed .

As always her warm bath was ready, so she had her bath and changed into one of the new clothes she had shopped for at the mall.

She wore a pink flowered dress and she poured her hair down, then she came downstairs to search for Arnold.

She carefully walked down the stairs as she spotted hun at the Dinning. He was on his phone,as he glanced at the golden watch on his wrist.

I'd be there in fifteen minutes . He spoke to someone on the phone. She walked down the stairs as he turned to her as she walked from a distance. He saw how pretty she looked on casual clothes not in some maid uniform.

She was elegantly dressed, the pink dress added more color to her face, she looked like some ripped cherry.

Oh my God! Why is he staring at me like that? She felt shy and then she lowered her gaze.

Relax Jenna, hold your that confidence. She said those words repeatedly then she kept her head up and walked to the table.

Hi. She forced a smile as she stood not so far from him.

I..I mean Ggg..oo..d Morning. She splattered

Arnold ended the call and kept his phone on the table.

Yes. Is there a problem? He glared at her with his left eye as the other was covered with fallen hair strands. He then brushed it backwards with his fingers.

Oh God! He was so darn hot! She said inwardly as she saw him did that. She immediately shook her head, clearing her thoughts, then she looked straightly to him.

Mmmm.. actually, wanted to thank you for staying with me last night. She looked down and played with her fingers.

He took a while before he responded.. That's okay. That was all he said.

Thank you for tucking me in bed. She continued, then she looked up, their eyes met, this time his eyes were already on her.

Jenna quickly looked away...Her eyes went to the table.

Seems like Arnold was already served, why didn't he send a maid to wake me up? He just allowed me sleep.

But why?? She expected a scolding, she knew she failed to keep up with her duty today, she knew he was already upset, his face said it all. She swallowed hard as her heart raced.

Sit. He said. As she walked to the other side of the table and sat. She didn't touch her meal, she just watched as He ate.

She couldn't even tell if he was angry at her. If he was he would've scolded her lie he did the other time. Since he didn't, she decided to speak first.

I..I'm sorry I couldn't get up early to perform my duty, she said calmly. Arnold chewed slowly, then he swallowed before gazing.

He stared at her as she looked down to her fingers. He then grinned.

Why was she so innocent? She had that soft, sweet angelic voice, he loved each time she spoke. Each time he heard her speak, seems she seeker for peace. One thing he knew was that she was special, and different, but he didn't give much thoughts to It.

That's okay. He replied with his eyes fixed on his meal as he chewed.

A Maid came to put out food for Jenna. Jenna felt awkward at this moment. She was meant to serve Arnold, it's really so disappointing, she felt like she wasn't appreciative of what he did for her. He gave her a place to stay, and good food to eat as well. Why can't she at least do something he didn't had to complain about?

The maid left,after she placed a plate of Spaghetti and meatball in front of her.  Her mouth watered seeing such delicious meal before her. But no, she couldn't devour it before Arnold.

Arnold ate quietly. The room was quiet for a while.

I..I want to go in search for a job. She struggled to maintain eye contacts with him.

Arnold lowered his gaze for a moment as if he was thinking about something.

Aren't you comfortable here?? He asked.

Jenna stayed silent as she kept that scared and sad look.

Is it because of what happened last night? He asked.

Aaaa..about that, I.I don't think I'm serving you well Mister Arnold. I..I couldn't do the things you asked of me.

Arnold gave her that cold glare as she found it difficult to say a word.

He understood perfectly why she couldn't do the things he asked of her, it was because she was a virgin, she never mentioned it to him but he knew. It was obvious, she was so shy, he knew that was the first time she saw a guy's Dick.

She was so naive, he knew that other girls would fall at his feet just to get a glimpse of his perfect body.

He could tell by the she massaged him that night, that she was new to it, that might have been the first time she was a big thingy.

But it surprised him. She was in her early twenties, well endowed, she had the perfect figure, why then was she inexperienced ?

Is there a thing you don't like here? Are the servants being mean to you? He carefully asked like a father listening to his daughter's complaints.

No, everyone here are all nice. I .. I just don't want to be a burden to you Mister Arnold.

I'm sure you ain't comfortable having me around, not everyone you help sees the good in you.

It's so difficult and rare for a man like you to bring a complete stranger you met at the road side, home, we trust no one.

Even if you've never told me, I know it's still quite difficult for you.

I'm not like those who just takes good deeds for granted, I don't want to over stay my welcome.

She paused, then she looked at him.

Arnold was completely drawn to her as though he was told an ancient story.

I'd just love to look for a job, Mister Arnold. She said lastly.

We could just talk about this when I get back. He wore his jacket abs walked out of the door.
