Ayama's POV.

"What a dumb exucse"

That's all you have to say?

I guess you wouldn't know what I'm going through, but still..

"Atsuki, I'm sorry. I should've told you. I know you care about me enough to help me.»

I sighed. There wasn't anything else I could say to make her happy. I always comfort her, but whenever I need help from her she never answers me or takes forever to reply. But things like that are things I shouldn't tell her.

"It's fine. But can you at least tell me why? Or what?"

Her voice felt more high pitched than normal. I'm not sure if I can answer things like that. I can't even think about it.

"I don't know what to tell you. I don't even think about it, it just happens."

She looked at me with a strange expression.

"Just happens?"

"Yes. I don't know how else to describe it."

I tried not to sound monotone or sad, it's impossible when talking about something so personal. I know Atsuki always just want the best for e-

"A- A.. Ayama.. I'm hallucinating.."

My thoughts were stopped by Ayama.

"We're not far from your house.. but closer to mine. Keep calm, inhale and exhale."

I notice Ayama stumbling and hold her hand, instinctively.

I feel my face go red.

But that wasn't important. I had to help her.

I hold her hand tight and run with her coming beside me. I wonder what she's hallucinating now.

But it's kinda like we're running away from the rest of the world. It's calming in a strange way.

As we run we pass by the swaying trees and the street lights, the sun is just about to set.

My life has always felt like a movie, but this is just too much. It's sad Ayama won't be able to see this scenery.

I sway open the door, run up till my room and lay her in my bed. I go to get water, since the doctor gave with us medicine for her to take, everything will be fine.

I come back in my room and sit on the bed beside her.

"Ayama, take this."

I give it to her and she swallows it immediately. I also hand her the glass of water which she slowly drinks until the cup is empty.

"T- Thank you, Ay- Ayama.."

Atsuki stuttered.

Her face was all flustered.

Now I really want to know what she was hallucinating.
