12 Chapter 12: Revival
[Omniscient Reader POV}
Akina was immediately awoken from her trance that was caused by the tree's magic, she looked around to see herself in an autumn shower of warm colored leaves and branches.
When she looked upfront her eyes dilated and was shaken by what she saw "R-Reinn?" she saw infront of her was Yggdris, who was covered in fatal injuries. "H-HEAL!!!" she said as her voiced stuttered
the endless rain of leaves which was gold turned to a green hue from the other trees around the two
the rumbles of the ground and the powerful waves of mana can be felt throughout the floor, Akina forcefully healing Yggdris' blood drenched body punctured with holes by the sacred tree that used up Akina's holy magic
a magic that the unholy specie's weak against "REINN, WAKE UP!!!" she begged as she raised both her hand over Yggdris' unresponsive body
she started casting healing magic to its maximum output, her palm gave off a faint green glow as small orb particles falls down on Yggdris' body.
the moon rose over the horizon… and in that instance, the moon bathed Yggdris with its light and Akina's mana seemingly got replenished "Yes!" she smiled as tears started dripping from her face
she hovered her hand over Yggdris' body again and used up all her mana in an instant "HEAL!!!" She shouted and the faint green light turned blue
Yggdris' wounds closed up and all the internal injuries healed, but he was still unresponsive
Akina looked around looking for potential danger, but the forest is becoming darker and darker as time passes
she carried Yggdris over her back and ran into the woods to go back to the camp, clueless that the battle was taking place there "Yggdris please hang on… Maybe Master can save you!" she said as she runs deep into the forest again
the rumbles of the ground intensifying the closer they got closer to the camp site, the ground cracked open on where Akina was running at but she managed to dodged "ACK!!!" she jumped to the side. Yggdris fell from her back, but she managed to grab Yggdris' hand before he fell "REINN!!!!" she shouted, the opened up crack started howling out disembodied voices of the dead, Akina saw a glimpse of the bottom of the ravine before she pulled Yggdris out "L-Lost souls?!" she said as she pulled Yggdris out.
They both stumbled away and the crack opened a portal to the nether realm which houses the souls that the Golem of life once nourished and nurtured, while they wait for the Goddess' of Death and Life to let them move on
but as the years passed, more and more souls got stored inside the Golem making him unstable and in the end becoming corrupted.
"Reinn!" Akina coughs up as she saw the souls emerging out "This is bad!!" she immediately carried Yggdris away as they hide behind the trees and bushes

"VINCENT, DO IT NOW!!!" Lorana screamed as she shot out endless fireballs at the lost souls charging at them. Zal then compressed his magic on his palm and shot out the spell at the Golem, the Golem having a thousand layers over its skin was not affected by their spells
Hanabi retreated back towards the two "ICE SPEARS!!" she screamed out as countless icicles shot out from behind her, helping Lorana who was exorcising the souls
Zal focusing his beam at the Golem that seemed unaffected by the spell, the Golem stomped its foot at the ground and the ground crumbled and cracked deeply, opening more portals freeing more souls within the Golem's core "Protect…" the Golem mumbled under its robotic voice
the moon rose above them and so did the souls that emerged from the cracks, the souls began spiraling up towards the sky trying to puncture a hole through the tall ceiling
Lorana and Hanabi looked at each other and nodded, they both focused their attacks at the unmoving Golem that was just standing outside their barrier
"INFERNO!!!" Lorana shouted as she pointed her hand at the golem with the countless souls spiraling above it. Hanabi pointed her wand at the Golem and shouted "Permafrost!!!" the two spells combined and created a blue flame that freezes and burns everything that gets stuck inside it
the souls immediately got vaporized and the Golem suddenly twitched its head sidewards. The Golem's eyes suddenly moving all around asynchronously "Protect…" it whispered before its outer shell exploded, the cracked grounds healed and returned to normal with the grass and trees
the debris of ice and rocks from the Golem's explosion penetrated through and through the barrier Hanabi made "PERMAFROST!!!" in an attempt to freeze the Golem over again but failed
the wand she was holding snapped and turned into dust "I-impossible!" she mumbled as she stares at the Golem "Lorana… I need you to distract the Golem before I make the water spell…"
Lorana nodded and ran to the tree branches, she raised one of her arms and waved it towards the Golem, portals appeared behind Lorana and shot out spears of light endlessly
the Golem that shed its skin looked something like no one could ever imagine, its glossy marble skin and green hair was noticeable… but its humanoid figure almost convinced the three that it was human,
but the plants growing all around it seems sentient, when the spears of light shot at it, the Golem raised its hand and everything beyond that got turned into stone, except for Lorana who used up all her mana using a barrier
while the Golem was staring at Lorana, Zal glared at it as he shot the golem with his most powerful water magic, he flicks his finger and a huge surge of water erupted from below the golem, the golem became unresponsive for a moment
Lorana jumped back at them "Chain of fire" she whispered as she clasped her hand together and a chain made out of flames appeared around the Golem, Hanabi looked at the two "We need to leave before it wakes back up" she said with terror in her eyes.
but the two sighed "We need to wait for the two to come back"
Hanabi couldn't convince the two, so she froze the Golem over
"We need to wait for them to come back" Lorana said while focusing all of her energy at the chains
"We need to leave! Even if the Golem's at its weakest state we need to take the op-" Hanabi turned her look slowly towards the golem
Zal preparing for his next attack
the ice cracked and shattered, the Golem reemerges, stones from the ground began circling around it as it floated upwards "I am… the Golem of Life… Gouss…. is my name" it said as its phasing in and out of existence effect vanished and held a solid look.
it glitched out for the last time to reveal a humanoid figure comparable to the God's image
"RUN!!!!" Hanabi pleaded to the two, but they were still waiting for Akina and Yggdris to come back
Lorana focused all of her mana again in a single spell distorting the space around them "this is my strongest light magic again… if this fails i have a few more tricks up my sleeve" she said while glaring at the golem
"Such a shame that I can't use my full force in this battle" Zal said as he flicked his finger and five fireballs shot out of his back towards the Golems, the Golem sprinkled some dust and the fireballs exploded mid air
"Gunpowder?" Hanabi said as she looks at the glowing dust falling
"Charged gunpowder using magic" Hanabi immediately created a barrier above us
a particle of the gunpowder touched the ground, and it sets off an explosion creating a chain reaction of explosions combinig into one big blast.

Akina taking cover from the explosion "When did the battle start?!" she whispered as she stared at Yggdris "Will he be able to survive this?"
she nodded "of course he will" she carried Yggdris on her back again and continued running back into the camp site
when she arrived, the place was wiped out except for what's inside the barrier "Master!!!"
[Akina's POV]
I shouted to get their attention, but the moment they noticed me, the Golem already set its sight towards me, it rained us down with rocks that exploded upon contact with the ground
I was lucky to evade the others master cannot get out since they're preparing for a spell
little did I know when I looked up, a heavily charged with the golem's mana was coming right at my direction
I couldn't dodge the Golem's attack, then in an instant... a black smoke that a certain race emits when they use their origin magic appeared before me, I felt a chill ran down my spine like the time when my Father told me about them
[3 years ago]
"Vampires?" I asked Father in a curious tone "Yes, my dearest dessert flower, the unholy race will never lay a hand on you, since you've been blessed" he smiled at me as he caressed my hair "Why do people hate them?"
he smiled "They are… the ones that will cause our world to go extinct… their bloodthirst and barbaric nature will never be atoned, even after death"
[Now]
I saw Reinn's eyes become a crimson red color, as he wielded a sword made out of the darkness of the night slicing through the rock, his fangs showing as he was gritting his teeth, the rock got split into two and crashed behind me creating two separate explosions.
he glanced at me with his glowing red eyes. He blinked and it went back to its normal orangish hue, was I… seeing things?
he grabbed me by the wrist and hopped into the barrier tearing it down "Zal-san, I don't wanna hold back my power anymore…" Reinn said with a stern voice.
