5 Heavens Arena!

[Location: Heaven's Arena]

Arriving at Heaven's Arena, Ash had walked up to the reception area.

And although looking out of the ordinary being a five-year-old child in a place for battling crawling with grown men, upon seeing a lady at the reception desk he'd asked to register for battle.

"Name and age please." Said the receptionist.

"My name is Ash and I'm 5 years old."

"Okay, you're registered. Please proceed to Arena 7, your tag is 192 so wait until your tag is called to come on stage."

"Wait young man, do you know the rules of the arena?"

"I believe so, I'll have to fight on different floors. The matches going by a point system for hits and take-downs, or I could also end the match by killing my opponent." Ash said smiling gently at the lady.

"Dear no that isn't how this works, let me explain the rules to you. So, on the floors 1-199 there is no killing allowed. Also, weapons aren't allowed, and we go by a scoring system based on hit's and take-downs yes."

"But you could also end a match by knocking your opponent out, only being allowed to kill the opponent on the floors 200-251." Said the receptionist happy to explain the rules for Ash even though he'd shown her an odd personality thus far.

"Kay, thanks."

Ash had walked away and went to his designated arena. Sitting in the stands had already become bored, realizing that he wasn't going to be able to kill his opponents until he'd reached the 200th floor or higher.

Unbeknown to all, Ash had been trying to open his aura nodes since he had first been transmigrated as a child. Having but slight success and being able to only control truly miniscule amounts of Nen, Ash's will had never faltered.

"Contestant 192, Please make your way onto the stage." A voice over the loudspeaker rang out.

Hearing this, Ash had made his way onto the stage. Eyeing his opponent, a skinny man with crooked teeth who is presumably a boxer as he was currently shadow boxing the air.

Moments later, the voice appeared on the loudspeaker once again.

"You may now begin."

Ash, hearing this had begun walking slowly over to his opponent who'd assumed a defenseless stance believing that he'd been paired with the wrong person.

Having no doubt in his mind that this child would get hurt in this fight, the man said to the referees "Hey, this is just a kid! He's going to get hurt."

"Contestant 183, If you don't want to fight him then forfeit the match. If not, then the match is still on." Said a referee on the side of the arena.

"Grrhhh, Sorry kid but I have to do this. It'll be painless don't worry; I'll try my best not to hurt you too badly."

The man said, gritting his teeth as he looked back on the stage at Ash who had already neared him.

And within a series of swift movements, Ash had strengthened the muscles in his fingers and poked the man's pressure points and knocked him unconscious.

The crowd bursting into an uproar at the sight of a small child knocking a fully grown adult unconscious within an instant.

'How boring, all of these guys are weak.'

"Contestant 192, please proceed to the 50th floor." Said the announcer.

Ash had let out a sigh of boredom seeing the strength of the people on the lower floors of Heaven's Arena.

Making his way to the 50th floor, Ash had seen a man walking exuding a confident aura. The man having a silent gait as though he was trained for assassination.

The man had noticed Ash's gaze and had seen his silent gait and the bloody aura surrounding him.

"Boy, what's your name?" Said the man.

Although Ash had heard the man, he had chosen to ignore him and continue walking to the arena on the 50th floor.

The man seeing this had walked to the side of Ash and asked again, "I said what's your name boy."

Not realizing when the man had neared him, Ash had tensed up and then struck at the man's neck with his hardened fingers in the span of a second.

Catching Ash's strike instantly and then striking him in the stomach the man had a dead-pan expression while looking down at Ash who was now on the ground gasping for breath.

'How did he manage to make me lose my breath?'

'How was that strike so vicious, how did he strike me with such force without me managing to even notice it?' Ash thought after losing in a battle of technique or strength for this matter.

Catching his breath Ash asked, "You're a Nen user, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am. I see that you haven't opened your aura nodes yet, only a few being slightly opened. You're having trouble opening your nodes, aren't you?" Said the man.

"And back to what I said previously, what is your name boy? Your gait is all too familiar, you're an assassin I can tell."

"Ash. Ash Zoldyck."

Hearing this the man had a slight look of surprise before his face returned to it's dead-pan expression.

"You're from that family of assassins? The Zoldycks?"

"Yeah, why?" Said Ash.

"I've done a couple jobs with your father Silva; I didn't expect to meet his spawn at Heaven's Arena."

"I'm Azrael Ryomaru, I'm an assassin." Said Azrael now adopting a slight grin on his face.

After this quick exchange Azrael began walking away from Ash.

"Wait, Azrael I have a question." Said Ash.

Upon hearing this, Azrael had stopped then turned around facing towards Ash once again.

"Yes?"

"Could you possibly teach me Nen? I can't seem to get it; I've been trying for a while."

"Hmm, your father has saved my life on a job a couple of times."

"I guess I could help you, don't you take too much of my time. If you don't have enough talent, I won't take too much of my time to help you. I'll give you one week to learn Nen and after that we're done." Said Azrael.

- 1 Week Later -

[Location: Azrael's Private Suite]

In the private suite of Azrael, in the middle of the room there lie Ash and Azrael standing there talking.

"I've learned Ten, Zetsu and Ren. Now I have to make a Hatsu, right?" Said Ash.

"No, you have to learn your aura type by performing a Water Divination and then you can make a Hatsu." Said Azrael.

After hearing this, Ash had walked to the kitchen of Azrael's Suite and grabbed a glass and filled it with water then grabbed a leaf off an Aralia tree Azrael had sitting in the living room.

Now situated at a table next to Azrael, Ash had placed the glass of water on the table and put the leaf on top.

"Now channel your Ren into your hands and keep them to the side of the glass."

Hearing this, Ash had begun to channel his Ren as instructed and after a couple moments he stopped after noticing the leaf began moving.

"What does the leaf moving mean Azrael?"

"It means that you're a manipulator. Having this aura type allows the user to control living or non-living things, including aura constructs. You can make some pretty vicious ability's if you put enough thought into it." Said Azrael.

"Thanks for helping me unlock my aura nodes and teaching me about Nen. If you ever need a favor in the future heres my number." Ash said, handing Azrael a sticky note with his number on it.

- 1 Day Later -

[Location: Heaven's Arena]

Ash had fought many battles in Heaven's Arena, choosing not to finish his opponents instantly he had chosen to match their level and adopt to combat while using his Nen in miniscule amounts so as to not kill his opponents.

[199th Floor]

Sitting in the stands, Ash had been waiting to be called for his fight. While waiting, Ash had been using Zetsu, not slacking in his Nen practice whatsoever.

"Ash to Stage 5." Said an announcer.

'Ah, I should probably get some more experience with Nen in combat. I shouldn't end this fight too fast.' Thought Ash.

Across from Ash was a tall bald man with bulging muscles exuding an aura of vigilance.

The man had bowed at Ash, showing his respect to Ash's strength.

"Good luck, you're a strong opponent so I won't hold back." Despite appearing rough and violent, the man had a kind soul giving his respects to Ash.

Hearing this, Ash simply nodded not being bothered to exchange words with his opponent.

"In the right corner we have the undefeated Ash! After his streak of continued victories people have started to call him Little Monster"

"And in the left corner we have the similarly undefeated Gentle Giant, Marov Klevesky. In this match, one of the undefeated monsters shall lose their streak!" Said the announcer hyping the match up for the crowd.

"YOU MAY BEGIN!!!" The announcer screamed into the loudspeaker.

Without a moment's hesitation, Marov had charged at Ash delivering a high kick aimed at Ash's head.

Coating his arms with Ren, Ash had raised his arms to block the man's strike. Upon blocking the man's strike, Ash had decided that this match was fruitless. He'd decided to end this battle quickly.

Upon reaching this decision, Ash had decided to release his Ren in it's entirety.

This show of Ren had exhibited Ash's unhinged killing intent, directed solely towards Marov.

Ash's killing intent had caused Marov to directly become paralyzed with fear, therefore allowing Ash to use Rhythm Echo and delivering a multitude of strikes aimed at Marov's pressure points knocking the gentle giant unconscious.

"LADIESSSS AND GENTLEMENN!!! It seems that the "Little Monster" will be advancing to the 200th floor!

Give him a round of applause!" Screamed the announcer into the microphone hyping the crowd up even further at the sight of Ash's victory.

Not being interested in hearing the crowd's loud screaming, Ash had began walking off the stage and started heading to the 200th floor.

'200th floor, I hope it proves as a challenge for me to actually improve my Nen in battle.' Ash thought as he began heading to the 200th floor.
