54 Chapter 54

Ging looked at Satoru with the most betrayed look that anyone could ever give, even if he hadn't meet Satoru for very long.

Satoru merely smiled back with an innocent expression.

' I want to punch him. ' Ging thought.

" So it really is you father. " Gon said as he looked at Ging in happiness.

Tears started to drop from his eyes as Ging literally stared with a poker face. Inside however was a different story.

' What the hell do I do? Do I ask why he is crying? Perhaps comfort him? Wait no, I don't know how to comfort people. I'm terrible at social interactions with family.

What do I even say right now? Also, why is that bastard recording all of this? Even that kid? ' Ging thought as he looked at Satoru and Killua recording the entire thing with grins on their faces

They gave him a thumbs-up as they recorded. Ging was about to murder them before he looked back at Gon.

" I messed up. Because of me, Kite died and then came back to life as a girl. " Gon said as he apologized.

' What? What the fuck? '

" We went go the best of the ants, Pitou them killed Kite after he protected me and then I went to kill Pitou... " Gon kept talking as Ging looked at him in utter confusion.

' What the hell is happening? '

" Okay okay. Stop with the tears. Calm down just try to calm down. " Ging said as he tried to calm Gon down while everyone watched. They were surprised that Ging was shy in this situation.

Satoru, Killua, Alluka, and Laura laughed at his expressions.

" I should have died instead. " Gon said. Ging then looked at Gon with a serious expression.

" Gon. That isn't true. " Ging said as Gon looked at him.

" He took you along because she believed in you. But he was also at daily because he underestimated the enemy. If you weren't capable then he would have left you behind and never took you with him, no matter what you said.

Silence rained over the hall before everyone yelled at them.

" Don't drag me into this. But he's right I had no complaints. " Killua yelled before going back to his usual voice.

" See. He admitted you kidnapped him. " Ging said.

" I then took care of him and raised him. You abandoned your son. Where were you when your son had an existential crisis? " Satoru asked.

" Fighting a monster that was trying to kill me. Besides it was his aunt who told me that I couldn't take him with me. "

" Yes. Besides, I don't know how to raise a child! " Ging said.

" Could we just get on with the election? " Pariston said.

Ging then picked up the microphone and looked at everyone.

" Vote for me if you want me to be chairman. If not then vote for someone else. " Ging said as he then gave it to Satoru.

" If I become chairman I will promise to burn the entire hunter association to the ground. Vote for me if you want that. " Satoru said.

" It started. Give your speeches while I beat the shit out of him. " Ging said.

" Like you could actually do something. " Satoru said.

Pariston sighed as he grabbed the microphone and looked at both of them.

" Just sit down already. You did your speeches. You are done. Anyway, the election has started, be sure to vast your votes after the speeches. " Pariston said.

" As for you 2 just sit down. You can fight after the election. I need to get popcorn first. " Pariston.

Clicking their tongues, both of them sat down in the front seats as they watched the election.

" What just happened? " Gon asked while Killua giggled.

Alluka and Laura also laughed a story looked at their faces. Everyone else was disappointed they really wanted to find the winner. Plus it was entertaining.
