52 Chapter 52

Pouf and Youpi go towards Meruem as fast as possible but were too late as a giant explosion occurred.

Terrified that their king is dead, they increase their speed towards him as Pouf used En to find him.

They find him laying on the ground with multiple limbs missing after they were turned to ash by the explosion.

To heal Meruem, Youpi and Pouf gave him most of their powers, resulting in Meruem getting a giant power boost at the cost of losing his memories of Komugi.

" You seem to be ready. " Satoru said as he teleported in front of Meruem with a smile.

" You... " Pouf said in shock.

Meruem looked at Satoru and clenched his hand. He did not wish to kill Satoru from his own memories but Satoru would still fight him. So Meruem tensed his body and rushed towards Satoru.

Satoru grinned as he raised his hand. Meruem slammed his fist into infinity. The ground behind Satoru broke apart.

Satoru stares in interest as he felt part of his infinity be taken in by Meruems Nen. However, Satoru wasn't bothered as he already knew Meruem's ability and how it works thanks to six eyes.

' Let's have some fun. ' Satoru thought with a grin.

Satoru kicked Meruem in the face which sent him flying to his left. He stopped himself on the ground before leaning his body back at a 90-degree angle to dodge Satoru's kick.

Satoru teleported and kicked Meruems back launching him into the air. Meruem created wings to stop himself as he analyzed what Satoru's ability did.

He knew he could absorb it using his ability but how much would he have to absorb before landing a hit on Satoru's body.

Meruem rushed towards Satoru with his fist reeled back. Satoru saw it coming as he parried Meruems punch.

Meruem then parried Satoru's attack and attempted to rip off Satoru's arm. Instead, he ended up throwing Satoru to the side as he couldn't touch Satoru's skin.

' What is his ability? ' Meruem thought.

" You probably know but you haven't touched me. Not even once. What you did touch was the infinity between us. " Satoru said.

" I'll show you. Put out your hand. " Satoru said with a silly face.

He waved his hand back and forth to get Meruem to come to touch it. Meruem stared at Satoru. He didn't understand this ability as he stepped forward.

" What my king? It could be a trap. " Pouf said.

" Probably but he is giving me information. " Meruem said as he continues to wall forward.

He placed his hand in front of Satoru. His eyes widened. Even while absorbing the energy, Meruem still couldn't touch him at all.

" See. " Satoru said.

" But I can still touch you, like so. I'm quite nervous as well. " Satoru said as he held Meruems hand.

He then slammed his palm into Meruems chest. Meruem spat out blood from his mouth as Pouf and Youpi screamed in shock and fear.

Satoru grinned as he slammed his palm into Meruem's chest a few more times before kicking to the side.

Meruem looked at Satoru as he raised his finger to create a red orb. Grinning the orb was released as it blasted Meruem backward.

He slammed the rough multiple rocks and bounced on the ground as the ground was destroyed.

Pouf and Youpi rushed towards Meruem as Satoru teleported in front of Meruem. Meruem got up with a few bruises but not that severe.

He stared at Satoru who appeared in front of him.

" Well since you are at your strongest, I'll be at my strongest. " Satoru said as he removed this blindfold.

Meruem stared at the beautiful blue eyes that seemed like clouds. However, he felt exposed, as everything that made him " him " was all known to Satoru.

" Let's start the fight. " Satoru said.

Meruem felt pain on his chin as he stared up at the sky feeling weightless. Staoru kicked him high into the air before teleporting in front of him.

Grinning, he slammed his fists into Meruem to the ground. Meruem slammed into the ground before flying straight back up with wings on his back.

Satoru dodged Meruems attacks as Meruem tried to hit Staoru who kept dodging. Staoru then teleported in front of Meruem with a red orb on his finger.

Meruem activated his ability to absorb the attack but it wants enough as he was blasted back.

He did take less damage but Satoru then used blue to rip of Meruem's arm.

Meruem didn't scream but looked at his arm and back at Satoru trying to find a way to defeat him but was coming with nothing at the moment.

He felt trapped in a spider web where all his moves were leading down a path.

Satoru kept attacking him as Meruem did his best to counter.

But he just kept going down the path toward the same end goal. He could see it. His death.

As he kept getting closer and closer as Satoru fought him the feeling of something missing was growing inside him. He didn't know what it was, until a few seconds before death.

Satoru used hollow purple and aimed it towards Meruem who watched it come towards him.

He tried to absorb the energy but it was too much.

Just before it killed him he remembered. The feeling of restless from not knowing stopped but was replaced with sadness as Meruem knew he couldn't be together with the person who loved most.

Komugi.

A single tear fell from his eyes as he died. There was no trace of him left as Satoru looked at the damage.

Pouf and Youpi were shocked as they felt their hearts crumbled into pieces from their failure.

They didn't do anything as Satoru killed them. Satoru stared at the destruction before putting his blindfold back on.

He then teleported back to the castle to finally end this.
