50 Chapter 50

Satoru and Netero meet up with Zeno on a cliff that overlooked the palace. Zeno of course kept his emotions in check as to not fall for Satoru taunting him and Netero laughing.

Zeno created a dragon as Netero and Satoru got on flew above the clouds over the palace. They avoided Pitou's en before dropping in.

' Dragon dive. '

The dragon dove down as they attacked the palace. Pitou rushed up towards them as she came face to face with Netero.

Netero just smiled and bitched slapped her to the side before continuing to fall.

' Wow. ' Satoru thought.

On the ground, the other team rushed into the palace. They were meet with Youpi guarding the path.

Youpi attacked them as Shoot provided cover as Laura attacked Youpi. Killua and Gon ram past them as they headed upstairs.

Pitou stopped herself as she skidded on the ground.

' He's strong, but not strong enough.' Pitou thought as she remembered Neteros Nen.

Tensing her thighs, she rocketed forward straight towards the palace. As she came closer, she immediately went to where the king was.

As she went through the window, she saw her king holding Komugi in his arms. She looked at the two old men standing there as they looked at the king. Along with them, she saw Satoru watching everything without a care in the world.

" So you have finally arrived. " Meruem said a she looked at the 2 old men and Satoru.

" Yep. " Satoru said.

" Your friend is powerful. Let's not fight right here. " Meruem said.

" That's fine. " Netero said.

" Pitou, heal Komugi. " Meruem said.

" Yes, my king. " Pitou said.

Pitou walked over to Komugi and started to use her Nen ability to heal Komugi.

Meruem on the other hand walked past Netero and Zeno without a care in the world. Netero and Zeno widened their eyes before understanding the results and accepting them.

They followed Meruem outside as Satoru followed them. He wanted a front-row seat for the fight between Netero and Meruem.

Netero looked over to his left and saw Killua and Gon. He pointed behind him as he kept walking.

Zeno looked over at Killua who stared back at his grandfather. Zeno widened his eyes as it was filled with pride.

' At least something good came out of him. ' Zeno thought.

Meruem stopped as Zeno gathered his Nen and created a dragon. Meruem, Netero, and Satoru got on the dragon as it flew off.

As the dragon flew off, Gon and Killua landed on the other end. They both walked towards Pitou.

" You have gotten stronger. " Zeno said.

" Yeah. By the way, I'll stab Illumi for putting that needle in my head. " Killua said.

Zeno smirked as he then disappeared. Killua just kept walking without looking back.

The dragon soon reached the place where the fight would occur. He dissolved into particles as Netero and Merum dropped to the ground.

Landing they looked at each other while Satoru had a box of popcorn. Caramel flavor of course.

Meruem got into a stance as he released his Nen. Netero looked at him and released his Nen as well.

" It seems I won't have to ask you to fight. " Netero said.

" Indeed. Satoru told me that you knew my name. I will force you to tell me. " Meruem said.

" If you can defeat I'll tell you. " Netero said.

Meruem rushed at Netero with his arm outstretched to rip off Netero's limbs. Netero dodges his attack as he appeared in the air.

He corrected his position in the air as he clasped his hand to the do make a prayer. A golden Buddha statue appeared behind him and Meruem stopped himself from moving further.

He looked up to see Neteros technique. He looked in awe at the technique as Netero used First hand.

The Buddha's hand slammed into Meruem who blocked the attack with his arms. The ground broke apart as Meruem fell through the floor and slammed into the ground below.

The ceiling came in as Netero fell through the hole. He landed on the ground as Merum got up without much damage on him.

Satoru on the other hand was staring at the battle with a smile on his face.

" Your technique is amazing. " Meruem compliments Netero.

" Thank you but now it's time to continue. " Netero said.

"You are right. First I'll take your right leg. " Meruem said as he pointed at Netero.

" Ho. " Netero muttered in excitement with a grin on his face.

" Well then, show me. " Netero said as he used his 100 armed Buddha.

Meruem walked towards Netero at first before it becomes him running towards Netero. He rushed at Netero and Netero smacked him out of the air into a wall.

Meruem then pushed off the pillars and walls as he attacked Netero from all directions. Netero countered with his Buddha.

The fight went on for a while with both of them losing themselves in the fight. Soon enough Meruem had fulfilled his claim.

He ripped off Netero's right leg. As they fell to the floor, Meruem threw the leg away to the side.

" So what's my name? " Meruem asked.

Netero looked at him calmly.

" Don't get too cocky now. " Netero said as he slapped his right leg. He constricted as it stopped the blood floor.

" I can still pray. " Netero said.

" Then I'll have to remove an arm next. "

The next wave of attacks happened as Meruem attacked Netero ferociously. Netero countered as Meruem kept coming closer.

Soon enough Meruem ripped off Netero's left arm. Netero fell to the floor as more blood came out of his wounds.

Meruem looked at Netero again as he walked closer to Netero.

" What's my name? "

Netero chuckled as he looked at Merum.

" Did you really think, that I couldn't pray from in hand? " Netero asked as he used Zero Hand.

His Buddha appeared behind Merum. Meruem looked at the Buddha as it closed its hands around him.

It then opened its mouth and fired a beam straight at Merum.

Once the beam stopped and Netero was panting looking like a skeleton now, Meruem appeared with damage bit overall he looked fine.

" My name. " Meruem demanded.

" Meruem. "

Meruem eyes widened as he heard his name for the first time. He felt complete. It was a nice feeling which got ripped away from him.

" This is checkmate. "

Netero then stabbed his heart with his fingers as Merum stare in shock before jumping back.

* boom *

The rose detonated as the entire area was caught in an explosion. The image of a rose was formed from the bomb as Satoru watched.

What a magnificent death.

" Rest in peace old man. Rest in peace. "
