2 Chapter 2

" I can see the port!! " Gon yelled as he looked off the side of the ship.

" Nice. We're right on schedule. " Leorio said as he looked at his watch.

Satoru looked at the port in glee as he really wanted to get off this boat. He removed the earphones he had in his ears and put them away.

' I need to become a Hunter soon. I need data so I can watch stuff on YouTube to pass the time.

That I needed something to pass the time and not interact with Kurapika. ' Satoru thought.

* flashback *

" Could you teach me how you did that? " Kurapika asked Satoru as they stood away from Gon and Leorio.

" No," Satoru said. " After all the reason why you want power is to get revenge on the people who murdered your clan right? "

Kurapika said nothing as he knew Satoru was right.

" You already know how that will end but you'll do it anyway. Pass the Hunter exam, you'll learn and get the power you want. However, do yourself a favor. For this exam just don't think about power. Just enjoy your time with your new friends. " Satoru said with a smile on his friends.

Kurapika looked at him before looking at Gon and Leorio. He knew what will happen once he gained power. The road he will end up choosing and what will happen once he does. He sighed as he looked at Satoru.

" Thank you. "

" No problem. " Satoru said.

The port soon came as Satoru got off with Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio.

" Oh, I'll go thank the captain for taking us here. What for me I'll be right back? " Gon said as he went to the captain.

" Okay. Come back in 5 minutes. " Satoru said as he then looked around the harbor.

' Hmm, there are many participants for the hunter's exam. However, this is just another elimination test. '

Satoru then set his eyes on a small shop.

' Damn it they have sweets. But I have no money to spend. Damn. ' Satoru thought depressingly.

Kurapika and Leorio just looked at him in confusion as he had a sad atmosphere around him.

Hon soon came back with the information and told the rest of them.

" Mr. Satoru. What should we do? " Gon asked.

" Hmm. You said the captain gave you that info right? " Satoru asked.

" Yep. "

" Then follow his advice. He's one of the examiners for the exam so his word is better than rumors. Besides the shortcut he mentioned probably means that someone up there at the top can get us to the location directly. It saves time. Also, call me Satoru. Mr makes me feel old. " Satoru said casually.

Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio looked at Satoru.

" That makes sense. " Kurapika said.

" Well can't argue with that. " Leorio said.

" Okay, Satoru. Let's go then. " Gon said cheerfully.

Try started walking towards the tree as Kurapika walks next to Satoru.

" How do you know that they will take us directly to the exam site? " Kurapika asked.

' Because your fictional characters and I know future plots. ' Satoru thought.

" Getting to the exam site is extremely difficult as it's hard to find. It's easier to have someone take you there directly doing all the work." Satoru said in a happy tone.

Kurapika nodded as he understood Satoru even though everything he said was complete bullshit.

Suddenly they were cut off from walking. A bunch of people started forming in front of them.

'It's time. ' Satoru thought as he smiled. He went to the front as the old man started talking.

" Exciting. " She muttered.

" Exciting? " Leorio questioned.

" Exciting. " She said a little louder.

" Exciting? " Leorio questioned again.

" Time for the exciting multiple choice quiz! " The old woman yelled. The people played music as Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika had derpy faces on.

" Ehheheehhehe... " Satoru laughed as he clicked photos of them at a rapid face getting multiple camera angles.

" These are pure gold. " Satoru said as he looked at the photos.

' Hmm, this one looks good. The lightning is perfect. But the angle is a bit off as part of Leorios head is cut off.

This one is better but Gons face is a bit blurry..... '

" Satoru! " Gon yelled.

" Did something happen Gon? " Satoru asked.

" Yeah, we passed the test. " Gon said happily.

" Oh okay. " Satoru said.

" By the way what were you looking at? " Gon asked.

" This. " Satoru said as he grabbed Gon closer to him to show him his phone.

Gon looked at the photos of their faces and couldn't hold in his laughter. Satoru laughed as well. This gained Kurapika and Leorio's attention.

Satoru shows them the photo as Loerio laughed at Kurapikas's face. Kurapika was laughing Leorio.

" Satoru, make a face. " Gon said.

" Okay. " Satoru said as made a derpy face. Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika laughed as they walked towards the tree.

Soon they came to the old house on top of the hill.

' They are really good at their transformations. Unless someone used Gyo, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Their kid though needs more training. ' Satoru thought as he watched Gon and Kurapika leave to chase after one of the Kiriko.

Satoru stayed on the sidelines as he watched Leorio patch up the wounded Kiriko on the ground.

" Finally, all done. " Leorio said as he finished patching up the Kiriko.

"Great. you can transform back into a Kiriko now. " Satoru said casually.

" So you could tell. That's impressive. " The Kiriko said as he undid his transformation. Leorio fell back in shock.

" Well, it seems your friends have succeeded as well, from the looks of things. Let's go. "

Satoru grabbed Leorio as he started following the Kiriko.

' Just a bit more and we can actually some fun. ' Satoru thought while mentally grinning.

Satoru literally ignored everything the Kiriko said as he just waited for them to take them to the exam site. He placed the headphones in his ears as they flew towards the city.

Once in the city, the gang is lead to the exam site as Satoru stayed silent. They reached the hidden elevator room as they headed down. Gon had a very excited expression on his face while Satoru kept smiling.

The doors opened as they entered. Satoru looked at the other competitors and immediately disregarded all of them as they were insignificant side characters.

'The pervert clown is here. Maybe I should go say high? But there's also Illumi. Killua is also there but I'll meet him soon.

No, I should use the idiot looking at us. 'Satoru thought as he watched Tonpa who was looking at them

Satoru took his number badge. No.406. He placed on his shirt as he waited.

He watched Tonpa interact with Gon but stayed silent as he had a more important objective.

Satoru went behind Tonpa and opened his wallet and took all of his cash. He then placed the wallet back as he looked at the clown looking at him.

Satoru put his finger to his mouth and made a motion to stay silent. Hisoka creepily smiled and looked away.

Satoru watched as someone bumped into Hisoka.

" Ahhhh... " The man screamed as his hands turned into beautiful red petals. Satoru looked at Hisoka who was looking at him with a challenging smirk.

' This is going to be fun. 'Satoru thought.

The second chapter and honestly I'm sorry if it's boring. Truth be told the beginning of Hunter x Hunter is slow. Either way, I'll make sure that the next chapter is interesting as Killua will join.

Also, Gojo will not have Nen. In the last chapter, I made it so that Gojo does not have aura nodes. He has cursed energy. However, he will be able to use Nen techniques like Ten and Shu only if he uses cursed energy itself and not limitless which can be considered his Hatsu.
