Ch4 Cook X A X Chicken

After hunting the pig, the five carried it back to the house. A lot of participants looked in awe at the five before running in the direction they came from while thinking they effortlessly hunted one which is correct since they knew the Great Stamp's weakness.

Arriving at the house where Buhara and Menchi are waiting. The two look at the five with interest, maybe because they caught the pig much faster than the two expected.

" Now, let's start cooking." It was leorio who yelled it before starting to roast the pig.

In the meantime, Akira looked at the cabinet below checking what ingredients he had before thinking about what he could make with it.

" Although the recipe wasn't much, it was enough for me to make a simple dish like pork fried rice," Akira said to himself before looking at the two examiners.

Akira raised his hand and asked." Can I add a chicken to my dish?."

The four stopped what they were doing and looked

at Akira.

" No problem, so just make it faster," Buhara said as he was already drooling while looking at the pig being roasted.

Akira rushed out to the forest once again expecting to find a small chicken.

" Aren't the chicken near here is that one." Menchi suddenly said as he looked at Akira's back slowly getting small as he kept on rushing away.

" huh?... Ah, that's right it was the three head chicken." Buhara said gathering the four attention.

They look at each other before Gon speaks up. " I'll go and help Akira-san." Gon then dashed out to the forest.

" What about the pig he is cooking?" Leorio asked himself before sighing and checking Gon and his roasting pig.

In the middle of the forest, Akira looks around trying to find a chicken. but his mind is racing thinking about what to do with the ingredients that missing to make the pork fried rice much tastier.

It was at that moment that a large chicken with three heads suddenly fell to his front.

Akira is in deep thought that he lets his guard down thinking that only Great Stamp is the danger in the forest. He also forgot about his bow and arrow because of was focused on finding additional ingredients.

The three-headed chicken is fast and tries to claw Akira. Since he had his guard down, Akira couldn't react fast enough to dodge. He hurriedly crossed his arm to block the attack.

The attack connected making Akira fly up into the air while the Three-headed chicken waited for him to land before attacking again.

Although the attack was blocked, Akira still sustained damage and he felt his arms numb.

In the air, Akira looks around trying to think of a way to get out of the situation.

At that moment in his sight, he saw Gon dashing towards the chicken jumping high enough to attack the chicken head.

Gon slammed his fishing rod to the chicken's head with all of his strength bringing the monster to fall. Akira also just got down from the air and dashed to kick the chicken who was trying to stand up and attacked Gon with his beaks.

Gon is already alert and jumps out to dodge the attack while Akira kicks the chicken in the breast without holding back before jumping on Gon's side.

The chicken stumbled back upon the damage but it didn't look injured enough to back down.

"Its skin is tough, I even hit it with all of my strength," Gon said as he looked at the Three Head Chicken.

Akira also looked troubled seeing a huge chicken like this and even with Gon's extraordinary strength can't make the monster fall. At that moment, Akira noticed a feather standing out with its color being different than other feathers.

" Aren't that feather already telling us to flock it out," Akira smirked seeing a way to defeat the monster.

The feather is hidden in the secondaries that's why Akira didn't see it despite its color. It has also been hidden well within it.

" Gon, Its weakness is the feather that looks much lighter than the rest," Akira shouted while dodging the attack of the chicken.

The chicken looks like it wants to defeat Akira because he looks much weaker compared to Gon.

" Okay." Gon didn't wait for any second before dashing on the chicken flocking the feather near the wings part whose color was much lighter than the rest.

The two sighed in relief seeing the chicken stopped before falling with a loud thud.

" Gon... Look like I owe you one this time," Akira said in relief as he was not that injured. He doesn't want to be injured when he is just in the second phase of the exam.

" It was nothing, I'm glad you are fine Akira-san," Gon said as he looked at Akira.

" Just Akira is enough, Y'see I'm just 16 years old," Akira said reflexively. ' Ah, I don't know about pokkle though.'

" Okay... Akira. I didn't think you were just 4 years older than me. I thought you were the same age as Kurapika." Gon walked to the three-headed chicken before lifting it.

Akira also walked to the chicken before helping Gon lift it while Akira unknowingly smiled looking at Gon.

And both of them walk to the house while chatting about their life.

It was the start the two became much closer and became friends who could rely on each other.

The two friend is laughing while entering the gate whose now full of other participants. All of them look at the two kids lifting a large chicken with three heads.

Some of the participants also looked like knew something about the Great Stamp but the number still decreased a lot.

Akira and Gon didn't mind the others and just walked in front of where the others were waiting.

" Gon, Akira." Leorio waved to the two before helping them place down the oversized chicken.

Menchi and Buhara look at the two with astonishment. Although it was a weak beast, It was still strong enough to defeat 5 adults. Akira even thought that they were fortunate enough to find the feather coincidentally.

" Are you guys still not finished?." Akira asked as he saw the dish they prepared on their table.

" Well, We waiting for you guys, Leorio is worried about you two." It was Kurapika answered while making fun of Leorio.

Leorio looked shy and made a lot of excuses in a burst of embarrassment.

Akira looked touched at the three. He thought that their personality is the same in the anime. Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio. So, despite their first meeting today, He already thought of them as longtime friends. ' As expected of Leorio, He's a soft-hearted.'

" You can take a part you want, I just need this part." Akira pointed to the part he wanted which was the breast part while looking at the four.

" Are you sure?, Doesn't this guy look tough?." Leorio asked as he felt bad. He thinks that knowing the weakness of the pig is good enough for him.

"It is alright since Gon is the one who defeats it," Akira said as he looked at Gon.

" Eh!!, How did you defeat it gon?." Leorio asked surprised that Gon alone defeated a monster like a three-headed chicken.

Gon looks embarrassed at being praised and scratches his cheeks.

" It wasn't me, Akira discovered its weakness so we easily defeated it."

The two stared at Akira while thinking that he was an intellectual type.

" I'm going to start cooking now. I'll let you taste it as thanks for earlier." Akira said as he looked embarrassed from being stared at too much.

" Okay," Gon said as he also started to take the chicken part he wanted.

The four of them happily chatted while watching Akira's cooking. Technically not really happily but that's just how the others see them.

Gon is laughing at Leorio while Kurapika also pokes at Leorio making him more frustrated and Killua also laughs with them. Akira also inserted into the conversation while cooking.
