Ch14 Game X Cleared

Lippo is a Blacklist Hunter, It is a Hunter solely on arresting wanted criminals. In the years of being a hunter, he felt a lot of thrill and joy while on the job. Just like what is happening right at this moment. He only lived as a hunter just for a moment like this.

In the monitoring room, Lippo is observing the game between Rendon and Akira. Their game is quite unique, It is the rock-paper-scissor. Although it looks ridiculous, The rules of the game are not.

If you win the rock-paper-scissor, You can hit the opponent without resistance. It's like free hit all you can if you can win.

And since the start of the match, Rendon still couldn't win in rock-paper-scissor, not even once.

" I surrender!!." Rendon cried out as his face was full of bruises and lumps.

" Not yet! You agreed that only the examiner can stop the game." Akira cracked a wide smile, but for Rendon, it was like a devil was smirking at him.

' I won't live! if this goes on! .' Rendon's thought

Lippo seeing that Rendon's spirit is already broken enough and doesn't have the will to win the game snorted.

He looks at Akira on the screen. " Another dangerous kid."

Back in the game between Akira and Rendon.

Rendon is already on his knees while crying. " I surrender, let's stop now. I give up!."

Akira just looked at him with a smile before looking at the monitor on the wall. " What do you think sir examiner?."

" Okay, Give him a rest," Lippo said on the mic.

" Pathetic." Akira whispered to Rendon before turning his back and walking out of the ring.

At first, Akira wanted to kill Rendon to confirm if he was not that affected by killing someone but refrained from it as he wasn't a cold-blooded killer.

Rendon gritted looking at Akira's back, his rage completely taking over his mind. He rushed to Akira while shouting. " Die you brat!!."

Without even turning his head. Akira dodged the tackle before putting his feet on the way making Rendon slip out from the ring.

" Bye~." Akira said playfully as he continued to walk over to Ponzu's side.

"Good work Akira-san." Ponzu said.

" Likewise." Akira then looks at Anita who is still unconscious.' Did I use too much strength?.'

At that moment, A bridge comes out from the side of the ring.

" Across that bridge, you'll find a small room. You will spend the fifty hours you gambled away there." Lippo's voice rang out from the speaker.

Akira looks at Anita again before sighing. ' I hope she won't wake up soon after I carried her.'

- January 8, 1999, 4:01 pm.

After the three arrived at the small room the examiner mentioned. Akira slowly put down Anita on the couch before helping Ponzu to inspect the room. They need to know how much food they have in the fridge.

" Glady, the food in the fridge is enough to last about a week." Ponzu then sat down near Anita before looking at Akira.

Akira is meditating after settling down in the room. An idea comes to his mind after the match between him and Dith. It is to use the leaking aura outside his body.

' As expected, I can move the leaking aura. Because my aura nodes in the eyes are already unlocked, I can see my leaking aura and use it despite not unlocking all the nodes inside my body.' Akira thought as he smiled and then focused back on moving the aura.

< Almost 2 hours later >

Anita woke up with a grunt holding onto the back of her neck. She groggily sat up and looked around the unfamiliar room. And the first thing she saw was Ponzu sleeping on the other couch. Then she saw Akira eating at the table, She didn't waste time and threw her knife at Akira which the former catch with his chopsticks.

" Nice dagger." Akira complimented as he threw it away. " But no use for me!."

Anita's face crumbled as she treasured that knife since it had been given by her late father. She dashed to Akira while screaming. " You Murderer!!."

The loud shout awoke the sleeping beauty Ponzu, She looked alert before spotting Anita throwing herself to Akira with a scream.

" W-wait!." Ponzu didn't know what to do and just jumped in between the two stopping their fight.

Akira couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the intense hatred in the eyes of Anita had on him. ' I've been sighing a lot.'

" Look, What's your problem?." Akira said as he put down his chopstick and looked seriously at Anita.

Anita clenched her fist before yelling. " What's the problem? you are my problem!! You are the one who killed my Father! Akira Zoldyck!!."

Because of Akira's display of Rhythm Echo, One of the Main Assassination techniques of the Zoldyck family. Anita's judgment was so clouded by rage that she immediately accused Akira of her father's killer.

Ponzu is trying her best to stop Anita from rushing again to launch an attack on Akira.

" Sorry... but I think you have mistaken me for someone." Akira said sarcastically wanting to harass Anita a bit.

Anita fueled by her hatred swiped the chopstick and tried to stab Akira with it. She doesn't care anymore and just jumps and attacks him.

Ponzu was also at her limit and couldn't take any more of their fight so she silently opened her sleeping gas device and sprayed it.

Akira took the plate and used it as a shield for Anita's attack. He then jumped up to distance himself from Anita. With the other chopstick in his hand, He threw it away like Kunai sending it to Anita.

Anita dodged the attack but before she knew what was happening her vision blurred and she fell down on the table. Akira also felt something wrong and when he stopped a smoke rising from somewhere he concluded it was Sleeping Gas. He tried to stop his breathing by putting his hand on his mouth but it was already too late, He also fell down slowly losing consciousness.

Of course, since Ponzu doesn't have a mask, she was also caught with her own sleeping gas.

– Jan 9, 1999, 8:20 am.

The first one to wake up from the three is Akira and when he looks at the clock. It's already 8 in the morning, he looks at the room and sees Ponzu sleeping soundly while Anita is also asleep with some saliva dripping from his mouth.

While he's dazed some crazy thing pops up in his mind. ' Aren't Ponzu almost killed me? if Anita is the first one to wake up. I won't be seeing the sun anymore!.'

He then stretched his body before heading into the fridge. He takes out some eggs and slices of bacon for breakfast. He then walked into the kitchen area before starting to cook.

He places a non-stick pan on the stove and heat it over medium-low heat. He then put the slices of bacon in the pan and fry them until they become crispy and browned.

Once the bacon is cooked enough, He transfers it to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess grease. He keeps the pan on the heat and cracks eggs into the same fan, cooking them sunny side up.

He covers the pan with a lid to make sure the eggs to properly cooked. He then sliced some cherry tomatoes and added them to the pan to cook it alongside the eggs, Before pouring it some seasonings.

Seeing that the eggs were already cooked enough and the tomatoes were slightly softened, he then placed in on the plate. He also didn't forget to garnish it with the chopped parsley.

Akira placed the plate on the table before walking back into the kitchen where the kettle was already boiling now. He already prepared the coffee grounds earlier, so he poured the water slowly over the coffee grounds.

While the coffee was brewing, Akira grabbed a mug from the cupboard. Once the brewing was complete, He carefully poured the freshly brewed coffee into the mug.

As the rich aroma filled the room, the two sleeping beauties woke up from their sleep. Akita took a moment to appreciate the deep and inviting color of the coffee before adding a splash of milk.

' It's been a while since I brewed coffee.' Akira wandered into his past memories as he placed down the mugs one by one on the table.

After he was done preparing the dish for breakfast, He then look at the two who were drooling now. " Let's eat first and We'll talk about your problem after."

Although Anita doesn't like to skip the talk. She knew that food comes first. She nodded at Akira before slowly walking to the table.

Ponzu just smiled seeing how Akira handled Anita before also walking to the table. ' But He should do this sooner.'
