While everyone was still trying to cope with the everlasting ice that had befell the room, Gu Bojings Personal Assistant, Li Yan came in.

The nurses and patients walking by gave her a strange look.

Xioa Ai stepped into the ward Xu Ning was and closed the door behind carefully, but Xu Ning was awake and quickly sat up. Seeing that it's a familiar face her face softened a bit.

Xiao Ai noticed the slight changes in her expression and knew she must have been scared.

Xu Ning sat upright and smiled a bit.

"What do you want to hear doctor?"

"You are willing to talk to me?" Xiao Ai asked suprised that she was willing to talk to her.

"Didnt you say you would help me get back at people who made me this way?" Xu Ning asked staring at the door frequently.

Xiao pretended not to notice her actions and sat Comfortably with her.

"I just cancelled my engagement with my fiance of two years. Things used to be good or something I thought until last week. I found out that my step sister had snatched my fiance and was even planning to kill me. This might sound absurd but I was once dead and then reborn. Do you believe in things like that?" Xiao Ai asked but she noticed that Xu Ning didn't look suprised at all.

She thought she must be distracted from looking towards the door .

Xiao Ai nodded and left the room. Her expression normal.

She went back to check on few patients that the hospital had just assigned to her.

Soon Xiao Ai received a text.

"That person knows Empeiro Gu. He's in city Z. Will send the infomation to XX."

Xiao Ai placed her phone back in her pocket.

This connection of hers she had started to use again few days ago.

It seemed the guy was still as effective as he used to be.

At night, Xiao Ai took a taxi home, but noticed that a car was following her.

The taxi driver didn't notice or maybe he did as he was driving at a relatively slow pace as if wanting the car to not lose them.

"Mr have you seen death before?" Xiao Ai asked her voice calm and deep. She was looking through her phone as though she had not just given the driver a fright.

"Miss, what question is that about? Of course not. How could soneone see death?"

Xiao Ai chuckled lightly. It was light and smooth. If she hadn't spoken to him in the tone she used earlier he might have found it amusing but he could feel the danger from her light laughter.

Through the mirror he saw her expression. She looked so cold with a poker expression. Xiao Ai stared back at the man.

"Well, now you have seen death. Pack the damn car?" She commanded.

The driver immediately halted the car.

The car following them also stopped seeing that the idiot had packed.

The man in the other car hit the steering wheel

Wasn't he told to not stop no matter what.

Little did he know that Xiao Ai had left the driver a very special gift.

The driver looked shocked. Blood oozed out of his tigh but he couldn't even make a noise.

The injection she gave him was very effective. He felt paralysed in his mouth. Soon the paralysis spread to his hands .

Xiao Ai satisfied with her work smirked at him. She got out of the taxi and bent a little towards the driver.

"Tell your boss he is stupid. If he can't even investigate me completely, he shouldn't bother racing with me." then she stood straight. Adjusted her clothes and waved to the other man in the other car.

The man looked auprised for a while

This woman was more interesting than they had thought.

The area the car was packed was a bit dark, there was an alley at the corner.

Even if the driver was found, the CCtV didn't capture the place since it was a closed area.

Seeing that the other man was about to alight from the car, Xiao Ai turned to the alley away from his sight.

The fence was a bit tall at least twice as tall as Xiao Ai.

She removed her shoes, dumped them in her bag and then lifted herself into the air.

Her left leg balnced on the fence and she used her other leg to jump down the fence.

Without waiting to check for any noise she jumped onto the nearest roof. From the first to the second till she could see the busy street ahead of her.

As they were all setting the table, Xiao Ai suddenly remembered that she needed a place to talk to Xu Ning.

She just took his car, but now she had to borrow something else.
