2 Vampires have titanium skulls

While they are running, they see many bloodsuckers running around and biting people. The bitten would fall on the ground like ragged dolls and wake up as a bloodsucker. The vampires are multiplying at a terrifying speed. They have been lucky so far in avoiding vampires.

They watch the scene with horror. The woman asks her, "Is this the end?"

"I am afraid so."

Huang Qiuyan wonders if she is going to die before she turns thirty. She shall die a virgin. She feels a tinge of regret. She wants to experience life more. The apocalypse is happening. If she had known that all of her struggles were in vain, she would have enjoyed her life instead of trying so hard to get married.

It isn't all that bad. At least, aunties can't gossip about her anymore.

When the student isn't prepared for the exam and the exam is cancelled suddenly, the student can't help but feel lucky.

Huang Qiuyan is trying to look at the positive side. In her eyes, she can't fail her mother's expectations anymore. It's not her fault that Zhao Zhu got bitten and turned into a vampire.

They see a man charging in their direction. It isn't hard to guess that he is a vampire. His dead eyes and unchanging expression combined with anaemic skin and glistening pointy fangs are a dead giveaway. He is about to lunge at Huang Qiuyan when the woman shrieks loudly, "Oh, No!"

The vampire is distracted by her high-pitched voice. He plunges on her instead. He clasps on to her arms by his claws and bit onto her neck. The woman cries once before her expression changes to ecstasy again. She starts moaning in rapture while the vampire drinks from her.

"..." Huang Qiuyan feels awkward. The woman sounds like she is enjoying it, but she will die at this rate. When it happened to Zhao Zhu, she wasn't prepared. But now, she understands what is happening. She collects herself and finds a random brick. She slams it against the vampire's head. Hard.

The brick breaks into half. The vampire doesn't even feel it.

Titanium skulls?

Huang Qiuyan won't give up. She finds a metal rod and swings it against the vampire's head. This time, he looks up. He tosses the woman on the road and takes a step toward her. The woman doesn't react when she falls to the ground.

She manages to distract him. The woman would live, but what about her? She only has a metal rod in her hand. She clenches her teeth. She isn't going down without a fight. She looks at him from top to down for a weakness.

"You could have a titanium body, but what about that thing?" She hits him between his male parts with the metal rod mercilessly.

The vampire didn't see it coming. His swollen eyes bulge out. He lets out an animalistic howl. If he could cry, he would have cried the tears of blood. He covers his male part with his hands and squats on the ground. He starts wailing and squawking like a wounded animal.

'I might have a talent for baseball.' Huang Qiuyan is proud of herself.

She rushes to the woman. The woman is lying on the ground in an awkward position. Her eyes are turning red and puffy. Huang Qiuyan makes a guess about what is happening. The woman is turning into a vampire. Just a bite from a vampire is enough to turn someone into a vampire.

The male vampire is getting up. She wants to run this time. He probably guesses her plans. He appears in front of her in the blink of an eye and blocks her path.

'Great, they also have super speed.'

Huang Qiuyan looks at her metal rod, her only saviour.

He sneers at her. Huang Qiuyan doesn't respond. She has only one thought. She would turn into unmarried mindless crazy dead bloodsucker if she gets bitten. That is not acceptable to her.

"Ha Ha..." She laughs. Her eyes are filled with tears.

"I, Huang Qiuyan, had everything planned. A man wanted to marry me. I was almost happy before that man's ex-vampire girlfriend decided to crash our date. Everything was going smoothly until you crazy vampires decided to ruin my life."

The vampire isn't affected by her complains. He doesn't understand her words. He only has one thought - blood. He opens his mouth. Huang Qiuyan tries to count his teeth. He snarls at her. She decides to break his teeth.

"Do you have titanium teeth, huh? Let's find out." Huang Qiuyan is frustrated and angry.

She shoves the metal rod in his mouth and twists it. The vampire is visibly appalled. He tries to pull it out. She kicks him between his legs again and shoves the metal rod deeper into his throat. He falls on his arse and chokes. She presses her foot on his throat and pushes the rod deeper.

"I refuse to become someone's food," She tells the vampire.

When she thinks that she could escape, someone pushes her from behind. She is sent flying like a football. She rams against the wall and drops on the side of the road. She hears her bones cracking.

Huang Qiuyan is in agony. She still opens her eyes. She sees the woman standing above the vampire.

'I am going to die.'

That is her only thought before she loses her consciousness.

The male vampire is enraged. He doesn't have high intellect or awareness. He turned into a vampire only thirty minutes before he came across Huang Qiuyan and the other woman. In his mind and body, there is only hunger for blood. He is simply following his nose and instinct when he charged at these two women.

However, he is unfortunate to come across a woman like Huang Qiuyan. She didn't hold back when she struck him with the metal rod. It didn't matter whether he was a vampire or not. When the metal rod hammered his male part, he felt so much pain that he couldn't walk properly. Then, she went ahead and smashed his teeth.

The vampire wants to bite the ugly woman to death. Alas! His pointy teeth are already broken by Huang Qiuyan.

Of course, there is another vampire in the area. The new female vampire pulls the male vampire by the back of his collar and flings him away like a basketball. The unlucky vampire doesn't even know what happened before he lands on the other side of the road on his arse. His legs are parted widely when he lands on the concrete. The female vampire hears the sound of ripping mixed with lamenting cries of the male vampire.

The female vampire speeds to the unconscious Huang Qiuyan. She leans down and bites wrist. Huang Qiuyan groans, but she doesn't struggle. Her warm blood fills the female vampire's mouth. The female vampire feels her empty body alive again.

The female vampire's senses are sharp. She is half-finished when she hears the footsteps. She whirls around to see the intruder. A teenage boy is standing there with an arrow and a bow. He is clothed in faded blue jeans and a white t-shirt. He has innumerable freckles on the bridge of his high nose. The female vampire only thinks of one thing when she sees the warm-blooded boy.

More blood.

But, Huang Qiuyan's blood is more alluring.

The female vampire snarls at the teenager before turning back to finish what she has started. The teenager rolls his eyes and shoots at the female vampire. The wooden arrow with a red feather on its tail penetrates through the flesh. The female vampire lets out an outcry. She doesn't try to pull out the arrow. Instead, she launches herself at the teenager like a wild animal.

"How troublesome!" The teenager dodges the female vampire's attack. She is highly uncoordinated in her attacks. The teenager kicks the side of her head, almost splitting her neck. The new female vampire is enraged. She wants to tear his limbs.

The teenager looks at her coldly. "What kind of vampire are you?"

The female vampire doesn't answer. Her eyes are feral and filled with hunger.

"Why are these vampires going crazy?" The teenager looks at the vampire thoughtfully.

The female vampire has enough of his questions. Her head can't even process his words. She charges at him again. The teenager takes out a gun from his pockets. He shoots her between her eyes without any restraint.

"It was worth a try." The teenager mumbles to himself when he sees that the female vampire is unaffected.

The female vampire doesn't attack the boy this time. She spins around and darts away.

"Higher speed than an average vampire too..." The teenager looks around and finds only Huang Qiuyan in the area. The male vampire also ran away when he was fighting the female vampire. These new vampires acted purely on instincts. They ran away when they sensed danger.

He walks to Huang Qiuyan who is turning into a vampire. He fiddles with his gun thrice before putting it back in his pocket. He takes out an arrow with a red feather.

"You should thank me." The arrow pierces her chest. "Pray that this kills you perfectly. If it doesn't exterminate you, my brothers and I will find you later and roast you alive until you are ashes."

Huang Qiuyan doesn't cry or scream. She doesn't open her eyes. Whether she is already dead or she could feel the pain, it remains a mystery. She is left there on a lonely street with an arrow through her heart. The teenager waits for a good fifteen minutes to confirm that the woman is dead before he walks away in an indifferent manner.

After six hours, Huang Qiuyan sits up with confusion and drowsiness. It is early morning. Her skin is white as pearl. Her eyes are black as the night. But she doesn't have the emptiness in her eyes like the other vampires. She feels hungry and cold.

She looks down at the arrow awkwardly and asks herself, "Why am I alive?"
