On Par With God?

In The God's Palace.

"God!! He has breached our Palace. The Angel Generals are fighting off his minions"

A Soldier who wore shining silver armor scurried towards a figure who sat on a throne astonishingly bigger than everything except the palace itself.

He held his silver sword in his hands, but his face was twisted with fear and terror that he couldn't maintain his stance.

He, the soldier, scurried towards the man who seemed like he existed before time.

But just as he reached the throne, the palace door blew open and many other soldiers came blasting and tumbling into the smooth polished floor.

All of them were missing heads.

A red shapeless form sauntered through the pile of dead bodies, the esoteric figure had a wide, pitch black grin on its formless surface which seemed like its face.

"So you haven't given up yet..."

The man who sat on the throne stood up as he spoke, but paused as he peered into the form.

The red formless figure halted its path to the man and its creepy grin widened as the formless entity heard a familiar word that the seemingly superior man before him uttered after a pause.

"Rancor!!..."

The man said as he locked his heavenly eyes with that the eyes of the red metaphysical entity which seemed to be brimmed with malice.

*BOOM*

Thunder echoed as the red formless figure formed huge claw like hands while rushing towards the man, who was equally heaving his white pale hand which glowed a blinding light towards the invader.

Within a split second, they clashed their powerful yet petrifying hands against each other.

Their clash produced a high sonic boom that exploded the entire palace, but the throne on which the heavenly man had sat remained unscathed.

The soldier who hid behind the throne had ascertained himself dead but found himself astounded at the miracle which saved him.

He had only heard rumors that the throne was indestructible and powerful, that too to an extent that even God, the man who now clasped hands with the evil silhouette, couldn't do anything to it.

Thankfully for him, all of them had turned true and he thanked the throne as he clutched his armor with his trembling hands.

.....

The time seemed to pass as both of the potent entities fought themselves on par with each other.

*Crackle*

*Thunder*

Thousands of lightning strikes shot down at the red shapeless form that was gradually cornering the other being who seemed to be radiating brilliant light.

The scurrying godly lightning went through the distorted form made up of a strange evil aura.

"Oh God, You've become weak..."

The shapeless form chuckled as he rained down his terrifying attacks on the so called 'GOD', who was the person before him.

The God, who had a guise of an old man, with long grey hair and beard, swiped the air, resulting in the attacks left by the red form to perish under his will.

They seemed to be on par with each other at the beginning. But as the battle continued, one of the entities deduced that he had enough of it.

"I might have become weak, But there is no way I'm losing to the likes of you..."

The man spoke as he vanished into the thin air and manifested centimeters before the shapeless form.

The esoteric form, found itself stupefied as the God, with an appalling pressure, thrust his godly hand straight through the wavering mist of the metaphysical evil form, locking and piercing into something which had concealed itself within the mist.

*Thrust*

*Penetrate*

"*Keugh* Aaargh... That..."

"That hurts!... a lot!!.."

"Kekekek... So this is the Omnibeing everyone is scared of... *Cough*"

The evil form spat as he coughed and laughed.

"HAHAHA, It looks like I'm still not powerful yet to face God..."

The evil red form who had God's hand thrust through his chest laughed as he spoke.

"I am not strong enough to face God yet haha... Please forgive this fan of yours. *Cough*"

Rancor, the red contour of mist spoke between dreadful coughs.

"Promise me you won't *Cough* lose to others. I shall become stronger, and I shall end you soon... God... Keke..... *Keugh*"

The red entity spoke while he laughed.

"Neither will you..."

God spoke.

*Twist*

"nor those pesky imbeciles..."

*Crackle*

"will defeat me..."

*Boom*

God completed his words as he detonated the red silhouette before him, his pale white hand clutched the shapeless element of the entity which opposed him and thundered his mighty powers into its core, making it disperse in pain and anguish.

But the figure, instead of being terrified and aggrieved, had died down with a sly grin on its monstrous contour as it spoke to the God the final time before it vanished.

"The Throne Of Existence... shall be mine soon God!!. Mine soon!!"

*Disassemble*

*Disperse*
