2 When the Rain Pours - part2

Shawn's eyes were locked on to the one woman who didn't seem to even care if his mate was gone, the one person who he loved with every part of his body, mind, and soul. His true mate was no longer by his side and this Perra thinks that they only lost her shit of a nephew when they lost so much more. Not only his mate but other females, all who had powers like Ivory, but now the pack only had 3 left. Shawn was the only one who Put this all together after everything happened and he only told his mother and father. As Shawn was thinking all this Ivory, his beautiful daughter was trying to use her powers to calm him down. Not only did it help but he couldn't help the laugh that slipped passed his lips.

Ivory was looking at her father as he just lost his damn mind, the laughing did nothing but make everyone even more afraid of him. For everyone knew that Katie was the more calm one of the two, witch was something Ivory didn't see. To her, Shawn was the picture of calm well unless he was mad at her for something. So she tried again, "Dad? Dad are you okay?"

Shawn stopped laughing to look at his daughter, "Yes my beautiful girl I'm okay, I just had to laugh cause you looked just like your mother but the words wheren't something she would of said so I just found it funny, sorry if i scared you." Answered Shawn as he ran his hands through his hair still fighting the shift and to give Celena a piece of his mind not caring about the real reason that they were here.

The air seem to calm down a bit but they could tell Shawn was still pissed about what Celena said and by the looks of the other faces to Ivory is that they didn't blame him, and neither could she but then again she never really knew her mother. She had memories of the woman but she never got to feel the mother daughter bond that she seen with the others. But she didn't really mind she had her father who was her rock then again she was always a daddy's girl.

Leora then looked at everyone and took a deep breathe, she then looked back at Ivory, "How about we get back to the point and before you start talking again we vote and see where things are?"

Ivory could tell how things were going already but she still nodded her head knowing that she still could talk after and maybe still get the vote to still become top Alpha, "Yes Crone I think that would be best."

Leora then looked at the others one by one; The Maiden Sue Thorn, "Yes."

The Mother Celena Morgan, "No."

The Crone Leora Gypsy, "No."

The Queen Julie Wolf, "Yes."

The Lover Ezio Thorn, "Yes."

The Provider Helius Wild, "No."

The Sage Scott Wolf, "Yes."

The Warrior Donatus Fairnight, "No."

Ivory could feel hope blossom in her heart but then realize that two of the council position were still open because of the recent attack. So then they would ask the Alpha, witch was her father and she knew that after she lost her mate he no longer thought that she could be an Alpha. Ivory then looked to her father just as he was looking at her, Ivory was pleading with her eyes for his to say yes but the words that came out would not only shock her but everyone in the room, "Ask the Ancestors, I can't vote on this."

Asking the Ancestors was one thing that was only done when the one asking couldn't decide on an answer. Everyone then looked to The Sage, Scott Wolf, who took out the stone one could use to talk to them. As he closed his eyes talking in a low voice, everyone was on the edge of their seats for the fate of all was now put into their hands. It didn't take long for Scott to open his eyes and look right at Ivory and it those short seconds she knew she wouldn't become Alpha. But just as Scott opened his mouth to tell her a mist started to gaither in the room, making those around to move out of the way as it gather by Scott. But more importantly by the Ancestors Stone, just as Ivory was about to ask her Grandmother what was going on a voice came through. "My children don't be so frightened."

That voice is one Ivory only heard twice in her life, the voice of the Goddess Metis. Everyone was shocked, the Goddess never traveled outside her Realm. So for them to hear her to come out and talk to them was a shock of a lifetime, as the Goddess looks at each one her eyes land on Ivory last as she smiles. "My Daughter Alpha, don't not worry your time will come for now let your father decided who the people should look to for now then when the time comes everyone will then look to you. But till then I need you for other matters. My other children have walked away from me and i need your help to bring them back before it's to late."

Ivory couldn't believe what she was hearing, this was bigger than her becoming Alpha now it was to help her people.
