Illumi then released a slight bloodlust paralysing Adam "tell me the truth" Illumi asked. He grabbed Adam's arm and dislocated the joints one by one and continued to do the same on Adam's other arm and legs, he then moved onto the fingers and toes.

Adam was already in enough pain to start talking and stop this torture but all the sounds he could make were screams.

Illumi only stopped dislocating bones when he saw in Adam's eyes that he was about to faint.

Adam was still in constant pain and unable to let any sound out of his sore throat.

"Talk" Illumi demanded.

Adam tried to say something to stop any more torture but with his throat so sore all he could let out were a gasps of air.

Illumi then grabbed Adam's throat and said "I should just get rid of you" ,but he quickly turned around and dodged the card by bending his spine unnaturally back however the card still skimmed Adam's face leaving a slight cut.

"Now, now that's taking things a bit too far. He's only young, you make another move on him and be prepared to die," Hisoka said letting out a small smile and Adam for the first time happy to see Hisoka and his weird fetish.

Illumi seeing the serious look in Hisoka's eyes released Adam letting his limp body fall onto the ground with all his dislocated parts causing excruciating pain barely able to stay conscious.

"Fix him as well we don't want any permanent damage slowing his growth now do we"

"Fine but he's a danger to killua so you'll have to take him out of the hunter exam and you will owe me one if I helped with his growth. After all I did brake him down so he could be rebuilt stronger. His flexibility and fluidity will also improve from me realigning his body a few times. Moreover I've give him a drive for revenge since hell want to retaliate against me" Illumi spoke while looking down on Adams body

"We'll have a deal only if you also stimulate his muscles and bones for extra growth as well"

"Deal" Illumi then picked up Adam and while he was still holding onto a sliver of consciousness not able to react to the pain anymore began to snap his bones back into place one by one to only dislocate them once again continuing what felt like months of torture for Adam .

Once that was over Illumi then began to slightly break Adam's bones and press acupuncture points all over his body.

After finishing with Adam's little treatment, Illumi then began to dig a hole using his hands.

Illumi said to Hisoka "He'll need a bit of time to heal don't forget you need to take him as far away from killua as possible" and then Illumi jumped into his hole and began to cover himself.

Hisoka then walked over to Adam and picked him up into a princess carry and began to run slowly through the trees until going to the edge of the island and laying him on the beach.

Adam finally lost his last bit of consciousness and blacks out only to wake up into a white room still feeling the pain of the prior treatment.

A familiar overbearing voice sounded going straight into Adam's soul itself,

"Do you want your previous life back? Do you want this pain to go away? I can make you forget all this pain you're suffering from and you can wake up before you died. Back as an ordinary man just going from one day to the next"

Adam listened to the God who sent him to the hunter x hunter world with his head down unable to look up while on his knees from the excruciating pain paralysing him, with uncertainty filling his mind.

'Why do I want to be strong? Is it so I can do whatever I want? No' then memories flooded his mind of being in school and having rocks thrown at him for being a loner, then to the image of his parents being killed in front of his eyes and the murderer stepping on him, unable to get up and him cowering in fear and sadness. I know now it's so I can never feel weak and helpless again. I don't ever want to feel powerless like a bug again, even now when I have power I still feel fear of being squished and unable to do anything. I need to try harder be faster be better, evolve from a bug and come out stronger than ever'

Adam looked up to God and stood up despite the pain "Thank you for helping me find my resolve" the pain no longer held him down, he gritted his teeth and powered through it with his will alone.

"Before you go back I will impart you one more gift to continue on your adventure, it will fall under a specialist Hatsu ability. Whenever you fight in a 1v1 fight you will improve the strength of your body. The stronger the fighter, the faster you improve in your strength and the more nen needed to activate the ability but it will only work once per person and nen beasts count as a person. To activate the hatsu you will need to challenge them to a fight and they will have to accept the challenge"

Then god sent adam back into his body.

After Adam's departure God said "I hope you can join me soon, I am lonely being the first of us all"
