Chapter 43

After the light dissipates, we see that we are in the middle of a forest. 

A muscular bald man stands in front of me, and I recognize his physical build as Bol, the man who attacked me. Next to him is a petite young woman with blond hair and emotionless eyes.

It seems like we caught them by surprise as they are both camping.

Neither Razor nor Karla were the first to take action, it was me. Not even a second after we appeared over my two enemies, I had already gone for the attack.

My Nen sharpens in my hands, I had the Nen take the properties of a rock, but I made it jagged.

Swish!!

Two muscular legs fly in the air, I had attacked Bol and he couldn't even react as I attacked him.

I learned something from this encounter with these guys. Always go for the legs if you are unsure you can get the head.

I look at the emotionless petite girl and see that her eyes widen in shock. 

I hear Razor's voice say. "Look at him go." 

I don't react to it as I charge at the little girl. She jumps back and tries to run away, as around twenty humans come from the trees and attack me. But if it's not a trap that she made...

I turn my Nen soft, and in less than a second. The manipulated attackers are within arm's length.

Fwosh!

My Nen shoots out like a porcupine, turning hard and killing every person that was trying to attack me.

The girl's eyes have emotion in them now, that is panic and fear. 

But all that is only something that goes on for a split second through my mind. As I easily decapitate her without any real resistance. Her Nen being surprisingly weak, meaning that she has a condition that would weaken her when she is using her Hatsu or something like that. No wonder her ability could control so many. The risk to that is crazy, even if it was kind of offset by Bol, the man who protects her.

She had me almost killed just by using strategies, she is smart, I will give her that. But still, she is now just a dead smart girl which is nothing special now.

Still, I am not going to lie to myself and be delusional. I only won this because of my future knowledge. Or else I would have had Bol and the Manipulator Girl hunting me down until they inevitably killed me.

I can't allow a situation like this to develop anymore. This was a wake-up call for me too, raw strength isn't everything, and until I am strong enough, I must play the human game of gathering different kinds of powers.

Hmmm… I must get the 10 Dons under Karla's control now. And I must also make another decision that is very painful for me. I must kill Azula, the sooner the better. If Karla dies, I am gonna have someone like her after me. She has the tools to be one of the, if not the most dangerous person in this world. 

With time she could even grow into something of an ultimate demise for me. She could get power comparable to Meruem, her ability is far better than Chrollo's, even if the conditions on her ability to copy a Special Ability are way more difficult, the power is permanent and she will most likely be able to use more than one at the same time.

Plus she can get access to many Poor Man's Rose Bombs… SHE MUST DIE!!!

I planned to wait till I could figure out a way to have her use her ability even while she was under Karla's control. But sadly for me, I doubt I have the time now. So I must come up with a new plan to gain power.

"NO!! Ain!!" Yells out Bol as he looks at the girl's head fall on the ground. I just turn around and look at the legless man, tears in his eyes as his face is overwhelmed with dispair.

"Karla put him under control," I tell her, and she doesn't question me for even a split second as she surrounds Bol with bandages in a split second.

"Hmmm…" Razor has a smile on his face as he sees Karla do that. It doesn't matter if he knows what I am doing. This must be done, we must know who is after us. "Quite the strong girl she is… no, it would be fairer to call her monstrous."

As he says that, I just give the man a side glance. "Do you regret helping us now?"

"No, of course not. After all, you helped me too. Also, I don't think you are the type of person to create trouble needlessly. " Answers Razor casually, he opens his eyes slightly and looks at me. "But I would call you way more of a monster than her. You are so young and I can count all the people that I know who have a heavier Nen than you in one hand… and I would have a couple of leftover fingers."

I smirk at that. I don't know if he has met Netero, but he is most likely talking about Gin who must have 'Heavier' Nen than me. It pretty much just quantifies the quality of my Nen. Netero had people feel like they were being pricked by needles just standing in his presence while he used Nen.

I am nowhere near that, still, I am glad that at least Razor hasn't met many people with better Nen than me. And it better be, because I have been training this very hard for almost a decade now.

"Thanks, I will take that as a compliment." I tell him. "Still though, I am curious who would win if we fought?"

"I would." Answers Razor without a second thought.

Hmmm… really? I even know about his Hatsu Ability… or right, Greed Island. We are literally in a game he created, he would have an absolute advantage here even if Nen Battles aren't all about raw power and I have some advantage over him by knowing a couple of his Hatsu Abilities. He still is in a place that he knows as good as the palm on his hand.

Plus he probably has some secret trump cards as long as he is in this place. After all, Greed Island exists for real, a lot of people must have tried coming in… and inevitably failed and have even been killed.

So in the end I just shrug. "Oh well, I guess I should keep training some more."

"That you should." Answers Razor simply.

Then I look at Karla and see her smirk slightly. "Bol, tell me, who do you work for?"

"I work for the Ten Dons." Answers the man instantly, with a worshipful look in his eyes as he looks at Karla.

I see, so the mafia of the highest levels have started getting involved in this. Well, that doesn't matter as their best, The Shadow Beasts aren't anything special. But I still wouldn't underestimate the men, so I will have Karla put them under her control. This way at least I can have the Mafia backing me up too. And the 10 Dons are the best backers that I could have, they have access to the underworld like no one else.

I think it's about time I get out of Greed Island… and win this damn game.
