Chapter 30

Title: The Ambush...

Karla wraps her bandages around the wolf-like man. I just have a calm look through this whole ordeal. It's always amazing seeing her power at work, her power is like always scary. 

As she takes control of the wolf guy. In the end, I canceled my Hatsu Ability <Heavy Load> on him. He gets up and bows in front of Karla. "Karla -sama, I am very fortunate to be able to serve you." 

Karla smiles at that and turns towards me making a peace sign. What the hell? Does she want me to praise her or something? Well, that isn't gonna happen. I have spoiled her too much lately.

So I just turn around and tell her. "Let's get out of here."

Since I still have my En active, I can sense every movement within forty meters, so I also sense Karla pout. She is really clingy, especially lately, I mean we sleep together every other day' but she is still too clingy. Also, she truly loves me, I have understood that much from her after all these years that I have known her. At the moment it is romantic love mixed with familial love, I am pretty sure that she might confuse love at how she looks at a brother and me. Obviously, I won't reciprocate her feelings any time soon. I am not really into young girls, but I am a man so I am definitely willing to do it with her when we grow up. It is pretty much unavoidable, we just spend too much time together, but her small body isn't attractive at all to the current me.

Later on, I and our little group of people go back to our underground base. I asked the wolfman, who now looks like the average brown-haired… average looking man. He is like... really average looking. Anyway, I asked questions about who sent him. As suspected, it was one of the mafia families. Next, I asked about his Hatsu ability and it was an Enhancement category Nen ability.

<Werewolf>

It pretty much allows him to reinforce himself during the full moon. It also makes his claws and fangs sharper than knives, also his physical stats are on another level after transforming. It also has a couple of conditions: 

One- The user can only transform during the full moon. Actually, the user is transformed into this even if he doesn't want to.

Two- he has to kill one creature every night he is transformed, if he doesn't do so, his werewolf will uncontrollably commit self-cannibalism after a couple of hours after his transformation and it hasn't killed something.

Also, it seems like he had another Hatsu that he didn't get to use against me due to my ability literally countering his. His second Hatsu Ability is called: 

<Howling At The Moon>

By using Emission he creates some wolf-like creatures which he can use in the fight. It also had a couple of conditions, which pretty much amounted to he can't use his Hatsu as long as he is not in his Werewolf mode and there is no Full Moon.

Honestly, he was a pretty good Nen user in general, sadly for him, I was better than him. Honestly, if he wasn't an enemy I might have invited him to join the Deadly Sins. I look at Karla once more and say and see her looking at me with a pout still on her face. I just sigh at this and as we are running towards our hideout I pat her on the head. "You did good Karla… like always… you do know this without me having to spell it out."

She blushes at this and hugs my arm… *sigh* as always… too clingy Karla.

In the end, as we arrive at an old underground vault, this is our temporary base. I plan to have one in the outside world too as soon as we get out of here. Also as I asked the werewolf some more questions I just learned Greed Island just came out. I got a pretty good semblance of where I currently am. If my calculations are correct, it should be around when I will be nineteen or twenty years old by the time the story starts and Gon goes to take his Hunter's Exam.

Another year passes in the blink of an eye, and here we are, in an abandoned building surrounded by eighteen Nen users. This is a sh*t situation...

Thankfully, I am with Karla, Ogre, Azula, and wolf guy. The latter is almost completely useless because it's not a full moon at all and it won't be so for another week also.

They trailed us for a long time before they decided to approach us, also their Aura isn't anything special either. None of them even seem to compare to me in raw power. But it's their abilities I am worried about.

Alo they are all wearing masks and I can only distinguish them by their physical build and even that is hard as they are all wearing baggy clothes. This is a perfectly planned assassination...

"You will regret ever crossing the mafia brats." Says the one who seems to be the bulkiest built person. 

I don't listen to them at all and just call out by saying. "You know… if any of you wants to leave now they can do so. I promise not to chase you down and kill you."

I say that in a fully confident way. And as I do so one of them doesn't say anything anymore as a green Aura surrounds his hands and two fang-like translucent figures appear.

He immediately goes to attack me, I just easily sidestep the attack, and before he can even react. I take out my Ben's knife and swipe it at his throat. Blood spews out immediately killing him, I also sense the others charge at us and I sense Azula and the wolf guy use Ren to use their aura explosively. Raising their physical power and defense.

Karla covers herself in bandages, which act as an attack and at the same time as a defense.  On the other hand, I just jump towards Ogre and start punching him.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!...

I punch him for a couple of seconds and by then the attackers are close by and Karla even had to use her bandages like spiderman to move around and since we are inside of an abandoned building, she has great maneuverability. Though she doesn't seem to be able to really capture or capture any of our opponents as they help each other get out of grasps. I immediately turn around and run off towards the bulkiest guy who I assume to be the leader. I am currently using Ken and spreading my Aura around my body evenly and together by turning my aura to have rock-like properties, making for excellent defense, but as I charge suddenly something hits me on my leg. I look down and see that it seems to be some type of sticky white silk-like substance.

Sh*t… 

BOOOOOM! 

I can feel an explosion surround me, most likely inside the white substance there was a C4 bomb. Or maybe it was the ability of the user? 

Of course, I come out of it with no injury and take that moment to charge at the bulky person who I assume to be the leader.

AUTHOR NOTE:

Okay, too many Hatsu Usages today, so I will only explain the basics to everyone. Also in nen battle, numbers do make quite a big difference. Due to there being too many tricky abilities and all that. Also, the Mafia has been prepping for this attack against Sub for quite a while.

<Viper Fang> (Transmutation)

The user transmutes his aura on his hands into viper fangs which have poison in them, and anyone who is touched by the hands physically, then they will be poisoned.

<Sticky Net> (Transmutation)

The user Transmutes his aura into a sticky white spider Net and can throw it (Emission). If the net is thrown, it lasts about only two seconds before it dissipates, because the user is not that good at Emission, so the user puts explosives on the ability.

P.S: Next chapter we will also see Ogre's Hatsu finally and why the MC beat him up.🤣
