Title: Going Away...

After having Machi bring me to my room, I just lie down in my bed thinking as my Nen spreads out, asound one metre around me. I take a deep breath and try to hold it, then breathe out, taking rhythmic breaths helps me calm down.
My Aura expands and starts forming in a circular shape, allowing me to sense any movement inside of it, this is the advanced Nen technique called EN.
In Ren, aura usually envelops only a small amount of space around the user's body. En is when one extends their Ren so that their aura extends further than normal, then uses Ten at the same time to contain and give shape to that aura, normally a sphere. The minimum requirement is to extend one's aura to a radius of more than 2 meters (~6.4 feet) and hold it longer than 1 minute. Someone using En can feel the shape and movement of anything within the area covered by their aura, with the degree of awareness and finesse depending on their level of skill. This technique also uses a lot of Aura, after all keeping Nen extended that much aura is tiring. Though Chimera Ants, like the Royal Guards aren't as affected by this, especially someone like Pitou.
If I keep training with 100% efficiency and my performance keeps improving. I believe that after some years, I will have it at least ten to twenty meters where I can sense everything inside it. I can currently hold it in one meter and hold it active around half an hour.
I slowly try extending my EN by a couple millimeters, my Nen immediately becomes unstable, but it turns back to its spherical shape again. When I notice this, a smile forms on my face. But it becomes a little harder to keep up, but I insist and try to keep it up. Those Royal Guards really have a lot of Nen, they probably don't even feel tired, especially Pitou who has such a monstrous EN.

-Machi POV-
I look at instructor Lovro as he instructs us on dislocating our limbs and how to control our muscles.
"It's all in the blood flow. Never forget that, for example." As he says that he puts his hand up and veins appear all over his hand and it turns into a claw. "This is an assassination technique that is the highest level you will learn. It makes your hands as sharp as a knife. Learning this technique can open a whole new road for you. Combining techniques like this with other assassin techniques can make one the best assassin."
We all nod at this, though I don't know how relatively true that is. Zoldyck family is still famous, even inside these walls, talented students receive compliments by saying that they are just like a Zoldyck.
I am not sure how strong that family is, but it must be pretty strong for even the Crimson Hand Organization doesn't speak bad about them.
Well whatever, better concentrate on training or Sub will be annoying when he asks me questions about the lesson.
He is honestly the only person I care about in this organization, everyone else could die in here and I couldn't care less. I just need to wait one more year and I can get out of here… but I can't leave Sub alone here. So I will stay with the organization until I am fifteen. By that time I will be strong enough that even if the organization decides to hunt us down we would kill all of the assassins after us. And Sub's progress is amazing too, he should be plenty strong by the time he is ten.

-Sub (MC) POV-
So just like this one year passes and I become five years old. Me and Machi are sparring, tomorrow she has her first assignment outside of the compound, she will be away for around one or two months. She will be given a list of targets she needs to assassinate and after that she can return and will be payed.
She rushes towards me and tries to elbow me in the face. I block that with both of my palms, but she extends her arm to hit the side of my head. But I jump back, but as I am slightly midair. I see Machi's eyes shine in a danger light.
Sh*t I went a little midair.
Immediately I try to plant my feet on the ground but Machi is upon me as she kicks me in the stomach, but I just grab into her leg and twist myself trying to get her into a grapple. But I am not allowed to do that as I feel her kick me on the head with her other leg. Disorientation me for a split second but just long enough for her to interlock my arms and grapple me in a hug.
"I can break all of your ribs if I just tug hard enough. It seems like I won this time too." Says Machi, with an amused glint on her eyes.
I just sigh at this. I still can't win against her, but I guess she trains daily with a teacher teaching her techniques and fighting, I only learn how to fight by sparring with Machi. But I am already training at 100% efficiency and never really rest but Machi with her monstrous strength still beats me. But that obviously won't be for long, she just has higher physical strength than me and she also has longer reach, now this might not seem much but this gives her all of the advantages she needs. But I don't use Nen, but at the same time she doesn't use her steel wires so we are kinda the same in holding back against each other, we never go for critical hits. At most we just break a wrist, even then we dislocate it before the other can break it.
"So who are your assassination targets." I ask Machi as she lets me go out of her dangerous bear hug.
Machi dusts herself off while answering me. "Well one of them is an Elder of Meteor City, so that is bound to be dangerous."
I frown at this and get close and hig her. But in reality we do this mostly so no spy listening in device can't hear us. "I think that you should abandon the mission."
"Don't be stupid Sub, I can handle it."
"Don't underestimate an enemy like that." Even though I say that, I know that the elder can probably use Nen and that pretty much kills her chances of a successful assassination.
"Don't worry needlessly, you are always calm Sub. What's gotten into you." As she says that she hugs me back, and covers her mouth on my shoulder. Just in case there is a hidden camera and they try to read our lips.
"I am worried about you. Why? Is that wrong."
"No, it's just that with the usual way you act I could never guess that you have a nice side to you. Where is the selfishness?"
"If you die I will have no one to do my bidding."
"Ah, there it is." As she says that I can feel her smile on my shoulder. But truly though, her dying would be a shame. I know that she lived until canon timeline, but I have changed so much in this world that I am unsure if she lives.
Still I can't help but advise her. "If you sense danger, trust your instincts and abandon the mission. Don't worry about me, in a few years I will get out too. The people in here might be trying to get rid of you so don't just believe that they didn't choose a mission way above your level."
She nods at this. "Don't worry needlessly. I am always careful, you know that."
I nod at that. It is true, she is almost as paranoid and careful as me.
"See you again Machi."
"See you again."
Then we separate from our hug and go towards the cafeteria. "So what are you thinking of getting today?"
"Chicken breasts." Answers Machi, we go back to our normal and usual conversation. Like nothing weird was going on.

AUTHOR NOTE:
Machi and the MC have a close relationship, at least on the outside they do. Now how much the MC cares about her is up to debate and will be explained along the story.
