Chapter 41
Title: Dead...

I grit my teeth at the decision that I have to make now, I know just how dangerous this could go both ways. I am fu*ked wither way, but I know at least that even if I survive now. I will have Azula after my asś as soon as Karla dies and she is out of her control.
Sh*t… Azula is dangerous, and not just because she specializes in poisons. But her Hatsu would be fully unlocked… she will be dangerous as fu*k then.
In the end, I make my decision, this unknown enemy of mine is dangerous. But nowhere near close to how dangerous Azula will be if she gets out of Karla's control.
So in the end, I decide to save Karla, the only way I can get out of this predicament is to save her. So I dig up, and as soon as I see light. I look around, I am in a forest.
"Book." I call out and look around, I don't see anything. But as suddenly at the edge of my vision, I see a bird looking at me. My eyes narrow at that, the bird is moving too rigidly and staring at me. It is safe to assume that the enemy now knows where I am already, and I still have no fu*king idea where they are.
"Accompany, Masadora!!" I call out and as the light surrounds me. I look at the bird and mouth towards it so my enemy on the other side can read my lips. 'I am coming for you.' That is all I can say as I am bolted away by the light.

Boom!
Seconds later and I appear in the middle of the city, the enemies already know where I am now. So I gotta be fast, I immediately jump up on the roofs and run at top speeds.
I am going to another neighboring city. They probably expect me to be here, and going to another city should help me slow them down a little… at least that is what the normal person would think. But that is not it at all, with my Accompany cards, I can go anywhere on Greed Island in an instant.
"Accompany On: Sofrabi!!" I call out once more and I bolt away in a flash of light again.
When I reach the port town, I go towards the hospital. The doctor looks at me in shock when he sees Karla on my back with her legs missing.
"Heal her!" I ordered him, a dangerous aura coming out of me. He nods in fear and immediately tells me to bring her to the back.

I do so, and after that, I use EN, this way I can sense everything around me in a 40 meters radius. Anyone who enters the zone I will feel if it's a Nen user especially since their aura will flutter a little when it touches mine. But I should also keep a lookout by eyes and see if I can spot anyone who stays just outside of my EN range… as the Nen in the 40-meter radius can be seen by any Nen user.

Twenty minutes and no one has even come close. So I should go and check on Karla.

As I go towards her room, I open the door and see Karla, completely covered in bandages. I look at the doctor and release my Aura, to normal people that could kill them. But I don't go too hard on the man as I ask him. "How is she?"
"Surprisingly good…" Answers the doctor. "She just had heavy injuries which had already mostly stopped bleeding and extreme fatigue due to heavy initial blood loss."
"I see…" That is all I say as I go towards Karla and ask the doctor. "Tell me how I should take care of her just by myself?"
We can't stay here anymore, this place will be flooded sooner or later.

In around six minutes he explains everything that is needed for Karla to heal. I look at the doctor and tell him. "Thank you."
"No problem." Says the doctor. "A doctor is supposed to heal people. Especially kids like you."
I nod at that, I am truly thankful to him.
Fwish!
So I decapitate him, killing him painlessly. His body falls to the ground, blood pooling at my feet, and he is dead.
That is my thanks to him, a painless death. I can't let the enemy get any information on our condition at all. I would blow up this whole hospital but I just don't have the time.
I just put Karla on my back and tie her up in a bandage cocoon, leaving only her face out. I also pick up a bunch of medicine that I will need for her.
After getting everything, I also tie Karla on my back, and with a bag of medicine in my hand, I jump away.
I will need to try and get Angel's Breath, that is the only way I can get Karla all healed up. I have the information on how to get it, but there can only be one existing Angels Breath. The healing power of that spell card is amazing, and with all the players in this game, it will be hard to find the one who has it.
Also, I am still not at 100%, as my knees are still injured. I am only around 70% of my best. And even if my Aura seems to have gotten stronger due to my emotions, it doesn't mean that it is anything unbeatable now.
So I decided to go to a place that could be really good… or really, REALLY bad.

I look at the beach and sigh. I found a cave close to the sea. There is only one entrance here, and even if the enemy decides to cave me in, I can easily dig my way out.
The best hideout that I found in here, I need Karla to wake up, and if the worst comes to be. I can just cave in and dig out.
Honestly, I hate it when I don't know who my enemy even is. I can safely assume that at least one of them is a Manipulator, which is up there with Specialists for the most pain in the asś abilities to handle.
One is unpredictable, and the other just needs one hit to get you. Though I am a good counter against Manipulators like Illumi because they can't even touch me due to my high defense.

Around five hours later and Karla finally wakes up. I look at her and smile. "Finally awake, sleeping beauty?"
"Hm?" She seems slightly confused as she looks around. "Am I dead?"
"Heh, as if I would allow you to die like that on me." I say to her with a slightly joking tone.
She nods at me as tears come out of her eyes. "Sub… I thought I was really gonna die back there."
I go and untie her bandage cocoon. I don't know who these enemies of mine are, but they are strong and work well together. They are also smart, they have defeated us repeatedly just by using strategies.
As I look at Karla and her missing legs I pick her up and hug her. "Don't worry Karla, we will kill all of our enemies."
Yes, no one can stand in my way, and the root of the problem is these unknown enemies. Who I am beginning to suspect are people that I don't know from the HxH cannon story. This is dangerous as hell, but I will have to try something.
Calculated risk is all about this...
