7 Chapter 7: Chairman Netero part 1

It didn't take more than 10 minutes for the Hunter's Association blimp to come into view, As this isn't the first time that the exams didn't go according to plan and it sure wouldn't be the last.

The chairman would keep his blimp close to the ongoing exams so incase their is an incident, he would be able to quickly resolve it whether it be personally or by phone.

Today the chairman felt like going out and meet the examines to see if their are anyone who can gain his intrest.

Eldred looked up and saw the blimp with the hunter association logo by the side, and he quickly moved to the back of the group to stand by the already closed hanger.

After the first stage was completed the hanger was closed to make sure no one would be able to sneak in with those who had passed, there were people who woke up after breathing clean air (the sleeping gas had been switched off).

"help" Eldred could faintly hear and feel the shouting and banging by the hanger door.

"just shut up" Eldred mutter as he hit the hanger back,"just keep quiet i have to think"

"they can't hear you" the blond girl with the sniper rifle said in a cold tone as Chairman Netero's blimp arrived directly above then.

Usually Eldred would say something to the girl but he had an important decision to make, whether to impress Netero or stay in Zetsu.

Eldred Zetsu was better than most of his skills but would he be able to hide from Netero probably but Eldred chose not to.

The moment Netero dropped down from the blimp leaving crater, Eldred released his ten which was all over the place instead of a smooth coat covering his body. It was more like raging water; where some parts were thicker or stretched out than other parts and if Eldred had to move his ten would show his movement before he even took a step, of course you would have to be a highly skill nen user to notice that and Chairman Netero is a highly skill nen user.

"oh" Netero exclaimed as saw Eldred watching him," Beans, what's the problem"

while Beans was explain that Luis took the first stage too far, Luis was more intrested in Eldred and so was the Chairman which made Beans angry," Chairman !" Beans shouted as he glanced over to Eldred,"We have to do something about the second stage Miss Vanessa is the examiner"

Netero glanced over the examines before saying" she is sure to fail more than half of them which would be a problem for the third strange-" clasping his beard"- then lets go straight to the third phase"

" I'll contact Miss Vanessa right away, Everyone board the blimp you will be skipping the third second stage and be moving directly to the third"

Cheers broke out as they are one more step closer to becoming hunter,"all 95 examines are present" Beans shouted as Eldred and the blond girl was the last to board the blimp.

Eldred avoided the crowd and moved to an empty room on the blimp, Eldred could remember faintly seeing Netero's ten and it was perfect Netero had created a smooth cover over his body and his aura was evenly distributed making it almost impossible to predict attacks.

'i need more practice' Eldred thought to himself as he tried to fix his mess of a ten, Eldred went on practincing till into the evening when the door was burst wide open.

"there you are" Silas shouted and he quickly shut back the door.

"why did you close the door" Ulf asked as he overreached for the handle.

"No don't" Silas shouted blocking the door with his body," he's um a bit busy with um exercising thought he could have found a more private place"

Eldred who was just putting on his shirt started to wonder what Silas was getting at and when he open the door both Silas and Ulf avoided eye contact with him," what's wrong?"

"i guess it's natural" Ulf muttered and Silas nodded along with a grin on his face.

"we brought some food" Silas said handing over the bag with food inside but he wouldn't let Eldred touch his hand.

"what do you think the third phase is about" Ulf asked

"i don't know but it sure as hell will be dangerous" Eldred replied as he looked out the window.

At Netero's room the examiner Luis and Miss Vanessa along with beans was there talking about the contestants, even thought Vanessa didn't see them personally what she heard from Luis granted her an idea of what they were like.

"So their going to that island" Vanessa said looking at beans who quickly glanced away," how much do you think will survive"

"45 if their lucky" Luis said it would have been better if they ended the exams with you"

"Come on now" Beans said with a red face," it won't be that bad, they're some great examines this year especially that Eldred Beckett"

"Even he might die" Vanessa said with a grin tone "Hopefully the deal went though with no problem"

"Yes,yes" Beans shouted out finding the only good thing about the third stage," the Chairman went personally and they quickly agreed"

"He went personally?" Luis questioned.

"Where is that old coot anyway, he's keeping us waiting again"

"He said something about stretching his legs" A fake laugh left Beans as he started to wonder what the Chairman met by stretching his legs.

Eldred was outside their room when a ball happen to hit his head" Sorry, i lost control" a voice sounded from behind him"

"Oh it's no problem" Eldred said picking up the ball," Here is your ball.... chairman Netero Sir"

"Fust Netero is fine" He said walking away before glancing back at Eldred,"would you care for a game,"

"just me or can i bring my friends" Eldred asked as he knew if m more people were there it would be helpful to him.

"yes that would be interesting, you can bring your friends"

"Silas, Ulf wake up"
