11 The darkness of the leaf

Two years have passed since Naruto and Anko have joined Kumo. That makes it four years since they abandoned Konoha. Naruto's generation have all just recently graduated and have been assigned their teams.

Within the basement of one of the three elders estates Koharu Utahane and Homura Mitokado were seated within an underground sitting room sampling the finest sake in the land of fire.

Taking a designed sip Koharu looked at her old comrade. She can recall the war, the first one in which they lost their sensei. It also brought out a feeling of resignation within her.

Kagami Uchiha who was her crush at the time had betrayed her and shacked up with some common wench. That sting never really vanished and was one of the contributors for her allowing Kagami's descendant Shisui to die to Danzo.

She smirked as her thoughts travelled to danzo and his fixation with becoming Hokage. If her sensei Tobirama didn't pick Hiruzen he would have picked Kagami which was a fact. It was one of the main sources for Danzo's hatred of the uchiha. He certainly got his way with that one.

"Thinking about the Uchiha Haru chan?" Asked Homura using her childhood nickname. She chortled "you know me so well Homura, I was recalling all the bullshit we let danzo get away with."

"Ah yes, that's quite the list to recall. Fortunately we have more bottles" he said with a smirk. She scanned her long time friend and remembered their dalliances in their youth.

A full blown relationship between the two of them would have never worked so they were content with their beneficial friendship. He was the better looking team mates back in their youth. Torifu Akimichi was the only other surviving member from their sensei's squads.

She allowed herself a modicum of happiness for the large man. He married a yamanaka girl with a chubby chasing fetish and sired many children. His strength also hasn't deteriorated nearly as much as the rest of the squad, benefits of the Akimichi physique.

Homura spoke up after taking another sip of his drink "speaking of Uchiha, the brat Sasuke just graduated. Were you informed as to his teammates."

She frowned and replied "the Haruno girl whose mother works under your sap division correct? I also can recall Kakashi Hatake being chosen as the mentor."

Homura nodded "that girl would do nicely for breeding more uchiha. Her brash personality would make the next generation much more manipulatable.

Hatake is also a wise choice, that eye of his can regurgitate hundreds of jutsu for the Uchiha to copy. The only issue is the third member."

Koharu frowned " Hatake is one of Hiruzen's people and the Haruno is under yours. My BARK is responsible seducing the heirs of the clans whilst your SAP controls the civilians council. Would you have me send another woman to the team? Or is the Uchiha so mentally damaged that he fiddled with kunai?"

A young Homura would have spat his drink at her innuendo. "That I'm not to sure about, the issue is the third member is a root member. Danzo could have Sasuke dead just like that. Without it we have no access to the Uchiha treasury."

Ah yes, the Uchiha compound was raised after their near extinction but only superficial resources were gathered. All their artifacts, Hiden, property deeds, supply cache locations, summoning contracts and their wealth are all stored under some bastardised Uzumaki fuinjutsu.

Kagami learned a few things from Mito sama and ensured that only the clan head can get to the good stuff. Sasuke is under age and can't actually claim anything until Itachi dies. It's the only reason the brats attitude is tolerated and his strength allowed to foster.

Koharu finally replied "what about placing another of the clan heiresses on the team?"

"The Hyuuga girl would kill Sasuke. You know she's basically a killing machine. Has been since she learned of the jinchuriki's defection. The Yamanaka girl is also a no go, you know Danzo is moving his people to cripple a few clans."

Koharu took a deeper sip of her drink and mulled over that little nugget of info. She recalls the Hyuuga girl well, used to be a shy little thing like her mother. The jinchuriki saved her from bullies at one point and she became obsessed with him.

To think a little girl would no more about how that fox brat trained himself into a weapon than the entirety of the village. She began to emulate her fixation and trained herself in assassination. How the jinchuriki taught himself that she will never know but the fact that the young Hyuuga heiress gained a better standing in her family and several of the elders dropped like flies is telling as to what she's become.

The moon eyed girl wants the fox brat and she's waiting for him to return to Konoha. Back to topic the Yamanaka is apart of Danzo's next scheme. He's corrupted several clan children and is reintroducing them into the clan with the intent to become the next clan head.

A Yamanaka , a mutant Aburame and then there's the Akimichi hybrid that makes her shiver. Her position has let her discover quite a few skeletons within the clans of Konoha.

The Akimichi Hiden shikabane bunshin no jutsu (corpse clone Technique) was one that deeply unnerved her. Almost like Orochimaru in a way, she recalled Torifu revealing the technique to her one day on the battlefield after she'd witnessed one of his clans women use it on a Kumo ninja.

Every ninja has their disgusting fetish, one would think an akimichi would get off to doing it smothered in food like a pig. She was not ready to learn what a vore fetish was that day. *shiver*.

Shojoji Akimichi is to takeover the akimichi clan and possibly the nara clan if he gets the chance. The boy has the lazy bastards intelligence and fashions himself to be the next orochimaru.

Fu Yamanaka will most likely seduce inoichi's girl and claim the headship that way. Toruné Aburame will replace his brother when he's killed.

"Another civilian girl will not work, the Uchiha has to big an ego. He would want a clan heiress to repopulate with or someone that's a genjutsu mistress." Koharu concludes.

"Now haru chan, that leaves the kurama girl and Kurenai Yūhi as the only options. The first is too volatile to combine with an uchiha and the second would piss off Hiruzen. She's to be his daughter in law if that fool Asuma's bragging is to be believed".

"Hmm well perhaps it would be best to train the haruno girl on the side to 'sacrifice' herself should her uchiha be in danger from the root.

As long as the boy survived till the chunin exams, we could steal a foreign kunoichi for him if that's what he wishes."

Homura nodded "speaking of chunin exams, what shall we do about the nine tails return?" Her friend asked in a much darker tone.

The slightly jovial mood they had vanished, the fox brat fashioned himself into an assassin within the village walls and seduced Orochimaru's apprentice into following and training him.

Hiruzen showed them Jiraiya's field reports of the boys travels. He collected a lot of dangerous jutsu on his tour around the world and that was before he joined fucking Kumo!

The raikage himself trained the boy in lightning jutsu allowing for the creation of his own version of the lightning armour. She remembered the hatred she felt when she learned he named his technique "godspeed". Reminded her of that obstinate brat Minato.

Danzo learned off their jinchuriki being indoctrinated into a unit comprised of uzumaki survivors and Orochimaru rejects. The roster of that squad put her on edge.

Their old snake mistress Anko Mitarashi whose poisoning skills have rumoured so surpass that old bitch chiyo. Jiraiya also theorised that she became a snake sage after he chanced an encounter with his "godson" that did not end well.

Soi Fon was the next on the list, damn Orochimaru and his bloodline obsession. The fon clan were speed demons and that one was trained by the deceased flash goddess. Giving her a kaguya implant and a fuinjutsu based instant kill technique was madness in the making. Her temper seemed to only be managed by the raikage's secretary and the fox brat. (Bleach)

Kirigakure Shura, a mist raised Uzumaki swordsman gifted with the kusanagi fang and a snake mistress herself. With Mitarashi being present her training in the snake arts would have reached a further level, another possible snake sage. (Blue exorcist)

Echidna the mind mistress, Orochimaru fashioned himself a yamanaka combined with various other mental techniques he stole from his journey abroad. Again another snake mistress with an even bigger sadistic streak than Mitarashi. Koharu has read the T&I reports so echidna's personally worries her. (Queens blade)

Junko Rokku, a Hozuki survivor from the kiri bloodline purge that shows fanatical behaviour towards Naruto Uzumaki. She's a top notch infiltrator with her ability to change her chakra nature to match anyone's as long as she's sampled their blood. (Basically looks like juvia with himiko toga's quirk as a modified bloodline via Orochimaru)

Arashi Nikaido, an uzumaki survivor that Orochimaru found and gave a single dojutsu. No specific idea what the yellow eye grants her but she seems to use it in conjunction with the Uzumaki swordsmanship she's trained in. She's also known to be skilled in fuinjutsu according to the files gathered by Danzō . (Some incest harem thing I can't recall the name off)

Koharu frowned as she recalled that all these women were sexual deviants. No wonder Jiraiya got such detailed information about them so easily. Though he seemed to tremble at the mention of a few of them.

Lastly there is Uzumaki Naruto who went by the code name Killua for some time. It was why no one realised he defected to Kumo until Jiraiya himself had confirmed it. He recognised the seals nature when he came across the boy on one of his missions. The snake squad that he's a member of has wracked up a legendary amount of A and S rank mission recordings.

They're rumoured to be a rival to the seven swordsman of the mist. Funny considering that there's seven of them too. Jiraiya was also concerned with how Kumo may have surrounded the fox brat with sensual women so as to breed them.

Strong women with some being Uzumaki? Of course that brat A was going to do that! The fox himself is a danger alone. Assassination, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, iryojutsu, poisons, tracking, stealth, fuinjutsu, kenjutsu. The boy is a monster in any field he chooses to step into. The genjutsu is the most shocking considering he's a jinchuriki but then again no one ever confirmed what bloodline ability the fox could grant.

The fox summons had strong fire jutsu and illusions, perhaps the nine tails granted the same? Koharu sighed and finished her glass before refilling it.

"You know he can't be classified as a missing nin Homura. The boy never joined the academy, at least that was Kumo's argument the last time. Hiruzen rolled over last time to damage the hyuuga so whose to say he won't do it again."

"Quite so, I also learned he attempted to take the seven tails from the waterfall. Their jinchuriki is also long since vanished in a similar matter to our own."

"She joined Kumo?!" "No way to tell but it's likely."

"Who will they send with the fox brat?"

"Danzo was under the impression that Mitarashi would accompany him as a sensei due to her knowing the ins and outs of the village. Hiruzen and him couldn't redo the barrier scheme due to tsunade's absence. Sigh~ the ward stone as they called it is kept within the senju compound so only she can get to it.

The Rokku girl is confirmed to be coming along with an Uzumaki girl. But Kumo is confirmed to have at least thirty of them. Kusa certainly kicked up a fuss when their magical healing women turned up in the clouds city."

"We'll just have to prepare accordingly. What are our options. We can't extract the beast as only an uzumaki can carry it. Sensei himself confirmed this as he told us a senju would be unable to when danzo suggested it." Koharu ranted.

"Hmm maybe use the Hyuuga girl to seduce him? She'd certainly be willing. A civilian girl would never do so due to danzo's demon brat scheme. Maybe use a Kurama or Yamanaka to brainwash him?" Homura suggested.

"Not a chance, they may set off the fox and the brat wouldn't be mentally sound enough to restrain it. It's why Hiruzen suggested socially conditioning him with his grandfather routine."

Well into the night the duo continued drinking and scheming not realising that a tiny snake was hidden in the corner of the room watching before it retreated into a tiny hole in the wall.
