Deep in the woods there is a cabin , in the backyard you can see two people fighting. A teen and middle-aged man are going at it full throttle

If the a person were to see this , even a layman can see that the teen is obviously faster and stronger of the two but the man is the more experienced fighter , even still you can't tell who is winning its pretty neck and neck . suddenly the older man was able to take a clean shot and sent the teen straight to the ground

old man : you are still hundred years too young to take me punk

kid : don't get too smug old-timer or you might die by laughing too hard

old man : I see you still have energy left to be snarky , nothing 100 laps around the field can't fix , now star running kid or you won't get dinner today.

[kid/Alex POV]

I got up and started running , my body was still hurting from the beating the old man gave me but I have got used to it over the years , as I was running I couldn't help think about my situation

I am Alex no last name because I am orphan at least in this world ,

I was just a normal kid until 3 years ago , a kid with insane trainer for a guardian but a normal kid , but when I was turned 5 years old I suddenly unlocked all the memories from my previous normal world . then I learnt that this the teen wolf world or at least a version of it and I am hybrid vampire/werewolf but not like klaus my werewolf side is like in teen wolf and my vampire side is also like in teen wolf , but that's the problem , there were no vampires in the tv show .

so the here's the deal the old guy who is training me is a hunter but not just any hunter he is THE hunter , he might look in his 50s but he was nearing his 200s yeah that's why I call him old-timer as you can see there are lot of differences from the tv show , here hunter are not just normal humans with weapons but they are also part of the supernatural .

The old guy is Edward Alvar a legendary hunter from a family with a long line of hunters , he a had family once but they died in The Incident which I am not allowed to bring up , since then he had been a lone wolf of sorts ,just moving from job to job , living out his last days , but that changed when he saw me 8 years ago in an orphanage , he says that his gut told him that I got the potential to be a great hunter , but I don't buy it I mean I was just a baby , what did he see me biting a toy animal or something I don't know , anyway so he "adopted" me and been training me ever since .

So I am now 8 years but the old timer has been training me since I could move on my own so I look like 15, I don't know if it's due to the training or me being a hybrid or both , Edward doesn't say anything about my growth so it might be normal but what do I know , some days the old guy just grunts at me so let's just say communication is not are strong point .

But it's not all bad , training under him has helped me learn a lot about the supernatural community , and he is the my only family in this world .

A lot has happened in the last 8 years, by the time I was 10, I finally defeated the old guy and became my own man and I took part in the ceremony of getting the mark. You see the hunters in this world get their supernatural abilities from the mark of the hunt , it's when a hunter is deemed ready they perform a ritual where you enter a dreamlike state and have to prove your abilities by hunting whatever beast that appears in that dream. For me it was huge tiger , I killed it and got my mark . Before the ritual I was afraid , because supernatural creatures cannot perform this ritual , its only for humans but somehow it worked fine . I didn't need the mark because me being a hybrid , I am stronger than most supernatural creatures , but I didn't want to disappoint Edward , finding out that the kid you have been teaching for years is hybrid would break his heart .

So back to the mark , it's a just a circle on my left hand just below the shoulder , its different for every hunter , for Edward it's an intricate tattoo of spirals on his back. The mark when activated temporally gives the hunters the physical attributes to fight on par with supernatural creatures , it doesn't do much for me as far stronger , but did give me hunter like instinct , I become a better hunter with each hunt .

By 10 I was fully grown adult standing at 6'2 and I knew that my growth would stop here . So after that I started taking jobs as a hunter , and I have been doing that these last six years , I have fought and killed all manners of creatures all around the world . At first I was doing this just for Edward but I started loving the thrill of the hunt .

Now here I am standing in front of Edwards deathbed , hunters can live longer than humans but they too have limits .

Alex : so it seems your age has finally caught up to you

Edward : Don't be ridiculous I could still break you like a twig

Alex: yeah yeah , so why did call me here I thought you wanted to live your last days without the annoying punk running around

Edward : I have a last wish of sorts , I owe favor to Talia Hale and as you see I am dying it would be a bit inconvenient for me to repay it , so you have do it my stead

Alex : Talia Hale , Hale as in the Hale of Beacon Hills

Edward : Yes , consider it a dying man's last request , here take this ring show it to Talia she would know what it means

As I take the ring , I could help but think , just before 6 months of plot now I am forced to go to Beacon hills .
