Leo rolled her eyes after reading the oh so famous quote on her instagram. She just checked her emails if there is important errands she needs to run. Fortunately, there is none.

❝I have a quiet long day for myself. ❞ she said it in a singsong way. Hitting the log out button. She happily walked out of her room to prepare some snacks for herself. The mansion is peaceful place for her, she can roam around without the fear of getting caught of a humdrum and she can freely use her magic to do some tricks to please and entertain herself, like she can make the kitchen tools cook for her or create a smoke illusion movie to make her laugh.

Since today is a normal day for her. She is wearing her usual attire. Pink pajamas and of course paired with a sports bra. Since she is alone she is not shy to flaunt her body. 'Why would I be shy? I have a body that can make the boys drool.' She think.

She is half way to the kitchen when she felt something disturbing.

❝The books. ❞ library is a normal thing so a shelves full of books should be normal too but in this case Leonna can feel something really different about those books. Something unusual. Something weird. The ambiance of that part of mansion is screaming of secrets that should be unfold.

Tip-toeing. Leonna is holding her breath as she walk very slowly nearing the books.

❝Leonna you look like a thief walk normally, will yah?❞ the voice is very familiar to her. Taking a glance to the man who spoke. Aegus just walked past through her. Wearing a black leather jacket with a plain white shirt inside and a black pants

❝You look dashing today. ❞ she said. Trying to impress him. ❝And you look beaten asf. ❞ Leonna pouted after hearing him. Of course she is really beaten. The wounds on her legs and arms are still visible plus the scratch on her left check still looks fresh.

It's been a week since the annual hunt but Leonna is still recovering. She is still disappointed on herself. Among the six of them, she got the most injuries but she suppressed a laugh after remembering Elara. ❝Check Elara first before saying that to me? Eh? She is beaten too.❞ she laughed hysterically but Aegus just smirked sarcastically to her ❝But she recovered faster than you.❞ the smile on her face wiped out so she rolled her eyes again.

At that point Aegus just start walking again like nothing happened.

❝That boy is so straightforward. I'm hurt. ❞ Dramatically talking to herself, but the drama was cut off when she saw the books again. Throwing away all her inhibitions. She walked normally this time, a little bit afraid that someone might caught her in that scene again.

The moment she reached the place and touched the books. An electric feeling spread through her body.

It is not long but it is enough for her to caught off guard. Leonna positioned again readying herself for that electrifying feeling that will sip to her whole being. Leonna almost jump with joy when she successfully got a book after that a little bit painful moment. Not a scientist but Leonna is very sure that whoever made that trap is trying to protect the books to someone who will try to get the books and she is one of them.

❝Don't worry dear book I will bring you back later. After I finish reading you.❞

She exited the library without making any commotion.

She tugged the book inside her pajamas when Aegus suddenly appeared from the kitchen with a glass of water on it's hands. He gave her a what-the-hell-is-happening-with-you' look so Leonna smiled widely and just winked at him.

LEONNA's sleep was broke when her cellphone suddenly rang. She fell asleep while reading the book. Irritated because she can't understand anything there is something wrong on the book and she needs to figure it out but she didn't take it, she dozed off to sleep without understanding anything.

❝What happened!?❞ She asked herself while spacing out of nowhere.

Looking around puzzled Leonna's eyes darted to the book on the table next to her and she came back to her senses.

A loud sigh was released from her when she realized that she failed understading the book and she also forgot what chapter she is in.

❝Seriously Leonna? Of all things that you can choose to forget. You chose the effing bookmark? And now I need to start all over again.❞ She grabbed her hair frustrated.
