I'm from Hell Inc.

Have you ever had a very strong flight and fight reflex in a very random situation act up like finding a very creepy bug on your shoulder? A similar sense kicked in and I threw the phone at the demon.

It hit him right on top of his head with a bong sound and dashed out to the patio. I am still so frightened. When our eyes locked I could get a good view of that thing. That demon was just like a wild animal with a very slender and black silhouette. Its horns were the most unnatural thing about it. It had a similar shape as that of a mountain goat but it was all dark. Its pupil was a glowing yellow and also felt like I was looking at some demonic goat. Is the demon a goat?

I now wanted to look at it again. I went back to the crime scene and found Kathy still asleep. No one else was on sight especially no goat-looking demon. I picked up my phone that was on Kathy's bedside table. Guess that thing had some manners. But where was he?

"Disturbing someone at their work should be a crime, shouldn't it?", the voice came from the other corner of the room. I turned around and there he was. But now he wasn't very goat-looking like before. Rather he looked too good to be true. Almost hellishly good looking. He was also wearing a business attire now completed with a red dress shirt and black pants. The sleeves were rolled up till his elbows.

"Yes, it should be.", I somehow overcome being dominated by his presence and replied.

"Then that would make you a criminal then. Also throwing that heavy thing on me. It must be some holy thing to hurt that bad". He was rubbing and ruffling his dark brown hair and sighed deeply.

I am a huge sucker for good looking men. They are my Achilles heel. I suddenly had flashbacks of my previous life showing how pitiful I looked always letting them do whatever they want. It made me very mad thinking about it. I won't allow that ever again.

"For your kind information, the one who is disturbing someone's work is you. This one-", I pointed towards Kathy," -is my job. So I request you to step aside." I feel proud of myself for saying that.

"So your the one who stopped those guys from kidnapping her", he was now sitting on top of the table. He was very concerned about my presence. Guess he wasn't expecting me to be her Guardian. Wait they were going to kidnap her. I did have some doubts about those guys. Like I mentioned earlier today's incident felt very unnatural.

"You were the one that made those trash men act up towards Kathy." I pointed a finger at him. That would make sense of what happened.

"Trash men?", he laughed when he heard me refer to them that way.

"Yes. Now tell me did or did you not.", I firmly asked.

"Why will I do that? What's in it for me?" he now had a more intense mood on his face.

"That's what you demons do! Make people do these horrible things.", I was going to continue speaking and quote God about what he said about the demons but I decided to stop after looking at him. I shouldn't push it far I have no idea what he can do to me.

The demon wasn't taking any of it. He seemed offended by what I just said about him. He got up from the table and was making his way towards me. His horn was scarcely glowing red. That is not a good sign. He can't do anything to me, right? Why does he have to be terrifying and stunning at the same time? My brains going to a very filthy place with him slowly approaching me. Stop it brain. Now is not the time to think those thoughts.

"Listen here u glowing shit-"

Wait a second I'm glowing?

"-I didn't tell them to do anything they did everything on their own. I simply let them do what's already in their mind. I have no control over their actions." he was now right in front of me.

We are dealing with a very huge demon. He looks well designed to murder anyone with those large hands. He was now slowly lifting his hand. He is going to hit me for sure.

I put my arms up in a defensive position and covered my face. If something happens to my face I don't think I can live anymo- oh ya.

"Here is my card. Looks like we are going to meet often now."

I glanced at the bright red card that read 'REGISTERED DEMON#6090' on the front and put my hands down. I cleared my throat and took the card. It was not humiliating at all.

"Just letting you know I can't attack you and like wise you can't to me." I repressed myself from screaming.

"I am from Hell Inc. and it looks like I have to make sure your subject doesn't get selected for that civilization your glow ball God is creating. I think it's a horrible idea to take a bunch of goody shiny shits and make a solar system revolving around them. Don't you think it's too much for one's ego?"

Calling God a 'glow ball' was a huge blow for me and it was very funny too. But only I can call God names plus his idea for nirvana isn't all that bad. He makes it sound like the whole idea was to boost God's ego. Furthermore, it looks like he doesn't like shiny glowing things. He also referred to me as a glowing crap a few minutes before. He seems like such a sweetheart.

"I think it's a good idea where we won't have to deal with trauma-inducing individuals such as yourself. Regardless of what your job is I would prefer you ignore me and my subject Kathy and terrorize people somewhere else." I tried to speak with the sweetest tone that I could manage. I even flashed a very toothy business smile at him.

He smiled back at me squinting his eyes to two fine lines.

"Now aren't we business partners. Don't try being so stingy hogging Kathy all to yourself."

"You can consider us as more as enemies if you do something to Kathy."

"Did you even ask ur 'subject' Kathy if she wants to go to that place?"

Kathy grunted in her sleep and turned positions on her bed. Looks like she is about to wake up soon. I looked at the clock it was six in the morning now. So much went by with this thing suddenly arriving. The demon walked over to Kathy and started brushing the hair off her face.

"It's only a matter of time for her to embrace what's good for her. None of them can't resist when they listen to what I say to them.", he spoke slyly. He was the one with the overbearing ego.

"You know what? Try your best goat boy.", I walked over at him and gave him one of my famous smirks. Back at work, the only driving force I had was to push down those overly cocky pea brains to their actual level. Along with that, I am good at teaching them a lesson they won't forget.

He looked down at me and snickered.

"This will be fun." he vanished as fast as he appeared, leaving me with his red business card and a now awake Kathy.
