1 Arthur Taylor’s Mother

Arthur wasn't born when it happened his Mother, Mary, however was 18 on the day of change. Her college was ground zero for one of the dungeons and she along with the rest of her college received the message. The first line was something she overlooked and tried to figure out how to roll for stats.

The rolling system was like a slot machine, you focused on rolling a dice and a slot machine like system appeared in front of you. The seven dials spun until you focused to stop them then they would slow down and eventually stop.

Mary's results were, 3, 5, 4, 10, 6, 8 and 6 the result 3 was the colour green while 4 and 5 were blue. the 6's were purple, 8 was orange while 10 was gold. Mary's stats at that time were:

Strength 3

Dexterity 5

Endurance 4

Magic 10

Spirit 6

Charisma 8

Luck 6

She was worried that these were bad until she heard a group behind her say,

"Damn, I got two 3's and a 1 while the rest are 5's."

"That's pretty good after all I got only 4's"

...

Mary realised that her stats were very good and decided that she would keep it to herself. She never really had friends and most people bullied her. Seeing how abysmal everyone else's stats were in comparison to her, she resolved herself to become stronger and never get picked on again.

While thinking to herself she realised the screen had another message saying,

Seeing her choices she instantly chose Mage, she believe that it would be best for her current stats.

Choosing mage she was presented with a menu. The menu had the word Gacha at the top and there were a bunch of categories like elemental magic or illusionary magic.

Looking over the choices Mary chose illusion magic. She decided that making others fight instead of her would be better.

A big wheel appeared in front of her the colours on it were white (about 50%), green (25%), blue (12.5%) purple (6.25%) orange (3.125%) and two gold (1.5625%) which was opposite each other.

The wheel spun and everyone around her were all looking at their own systems that only looked like a blue square to her. She turned back to the wheel and saw that it was slowing down and landed on purple. The screen released confetti and said congratulations. She was the first to receive a purple magic so she received a second blue rank magic

After the system stopped congratulating her she found out her magic was called,

Presence Removal - Purple - (Active) - Level 1 - Allows for target to become completely ignored by everyone the target doesn't consider an ally. Contact will reveal the caster until said contact is cut. Mp cost - 15% of Mp capacity on activation.

Confusion - Blue - (Active) - Level 1 - Makes the effected target(s) attack everything around it/them. Spell releases a gas ball that once it lands spreads out for 1~2 meter(s) from its point of contact the encompassed area is 1 meter in each direction. Cost - 10 Mp.

Seeing this Mary felt excited she believed that for now she could use these skills to quickly gain strength.

While thinking this, a group of green swollen-looking humanoid creatures ambled into the room their hair looked rotten and they wore rags that were similar to the stereotypical caveman clothing. Their eyes were like that of a predator while they had oversized pointed ears and teeth.

The disgusting creatures started attacking Mary's classmates. In a panic Mary activated her Presence Removal magic. Due to her removing her presence the creatures ignored her and she got a better look at them.

After studying them she noticed that if she focused she could instinctively understand a bit of information. These monsters were called Goblins, after only studying them Mary could tell they were all dangerous. While she was studying them a handsome boy from her class, who was called Daniel, started making a fuss. Mary always hated him because he seemed like a underhanded and two-faced person, this was because he was the type that made trouble for others in the name of being understanding.

Mary after seeing that Daniel trying to stop the monsters she thought he seemed cool, even though he was still acting high and mighty.

As a response to his struggling the monsters shouted to each other and they beheaded him and pinned his head to a wall. This caused some of the people in the class to react violently and others to quake in fear. The ones who acted violently got impaled or maimed.

After there was no more resistance among the people, the Goblins made everyone move somewhere else. They ended up in the sports hall, other classes ended up in the hall and there was a big heap of bloody bodies at the far end of the dim hall. The smell of blood and death hung in the air.

Other classes had their teachers trying to keep the students inline and while students where either crying or very rowdy. It wasn't until a figure descended the corpse mountain that people calmed down.

The figure that descended the corpse mountain was a green man who unlike the others looked more like a muscular giant instead of a swollen-rotting-humanoid. The goblins all kowtowed to this green giant, after inspecting the giant Mary understood that

this was a Goblin King.

After confirming that this one was different from the others the king shouted in a deep voice dripping with contempt, "LOWLY... HUMANZ! THIZ DAY, ONWARDZ YOU... aRE MY SHLAVEZ!!!"

This incited all of the already agitated men who booed and shouted, "FREAK LEAVE US ALONE!" The result was obvious to anyone who wasn't stupid and the men were killed on the spot.

In response the Goblin King yelled, "THIZ! IZ THE FATE... OF THOZE WHO, APPOZE UZ! SHUBMIT... OR DIE WEAKLINGZ!!!"

After that everyone was quite and for about a week the 'slaves' didn't cause any trouble. They were forced to clear out all the rooms in the school while others had to start a farm. The small scale green house was destroyed and everything inside was turned into crops.

They had started to grow some things, the only food for the 'slaves' was whatever the Goblins had leftover. The canteen food was eaten by the Goblins on the first day and after that some of the Goblins started hunting.

Since the incident on the first day Mary has been investigating everything around the school. One thing she found out was that if she wandered far enough from the school she would reach a red glass-like dome. She understood that if she wanted to leave she needed to kill the Goblin King. Finally, she found out that her confusion skill was useable if she focused on it she could understand how to use it.

During this time she devised a plan to kill the Goblin King. She had gathered some women that wanted to get out of there. However she couldn't find anyone who had stats close to hers. While it shouldn't be a problem for her she was once again reminded that she was currently stronger than the others in the school.

Her team was a sharp smart looking girl who was actually considered a mathematical genius in their hometown. Another was one of the scary creepy girls who happened to be very good at chemistry and in her words 'had planned to poison some of the bitchy girls.' And the last member who was a tomboy, was overly interested in bombs because art was explosive or something. On the fifth day Mary had used her presence removal spell in sequence to get all of her crew to a safe area in the zone.

On the eighth day the Goblin King once again came down from the corpse mountain and said, "FROM NOW... ON THE WOMEN, WILL GET... MORE FOOD, AND BETTER, TRE...EAT,MANT! IN RE...TURN THEY WILL BE,COME OUR MATEZ! THE... MEN WILL HAVE TO WORK, TWISHE AS HARD FOR WHAT... THEY GET NOW! THAT IS ALL... WEAK,LINGS!"

Afterwards there were several women brought out and they were split in half, one half was the fatter women and the other were the popular thinner women. The thin women were taken into different rooms while the fat women were lead to the corpse mountain.

Later the women in the classrooms were visited by the Goblins and screams could be heard throughout the night.

The next day Mary and her group found out what happened and that the women were now being raped. Mary's team was outraged at what happened to their classmates and teachers. They wanted to move the plan forward to tomorrow, however Mary said, "I understand how you all feel and I want to help them all as well. But what then? The plan needs to be perfect or one slip up could screw us all up! If we want to save them we can't be heroes! You've seen what happens to heroes! The only way that we all manage to get through this is by making sure we can. I hate this as much as the rest of you. And look at it this way, those girls, they hated us push came to shove they'd have abandoned us like they did to their boyfriends that got killed in front of them. We will save them but we're in no hurry they aren't being killed so we can still save them."

Although everyone hated it they couldn't help but agree. The Goblins were capable of so much more than them so they knew they had to be smart.

The preparations for makeshifts weapons and the training in ability use had yet to be completed. So if the crew challenged the Goblins Mary was sure that they would fail.

After another few days passed and the crew had become prepared. So the liberation plan named project pest removal was commenced they began by having the tomboy named Robin set up multiple bombs in various choke points in the school. Next the creepy girl named Beau, poisoned the food being cooked with laxatives and various other non lethal chemicals with the presence removal active. Finally, the sharp looking girl called Rachel who had planned the vital areas and tactically stationed the crew, was using the cctv to overlook the school. She had the skill telepathy and was after practice able to encompass the entire school with it and could talk to each of the crew and also send oneway messages simultaneously to the entire encompassed area.

Once the optimal start time had arrived Rachel simultaneously alerted the crew. The Goblins at this time all rushed to the places designated to any and all waste and once there the bombs were set off trapping them in the rooms the had rushed into.

The Goblins that hadn't eaten or were on patrol rushed back to the main hall after finding out what the explosions were. After entering the hall the Goblins all gathered together and kowtowed to the King that was surrounded by the students who had been taken up the corpse mountain. The students had become strangely attached to the king and all followed close around him with hearts in their eyes.

The sight disgusted Mary as this confirmed the rumour she heard circulating. That rumour was they had all become like the school bitchs, even going as far to bully the girls that were raped.

As if to snap her out of the trance she was in Mary Heard Rachel shout "Mary now" through her telepathy. With that signal Mary fired her spell in three areas to cover all of the kowtowing Goblins. With this the Goblins started attacking each other and when the king tried to stop them they attacked him.

Before he intercepted them he moved the bitchs back so they don't get involved. Shortly after the Goblins started attacking him the king used a skill that made a red aura surround him and he started wiping the Goblins out. After he wiped them out the king was breathing heavily and was bleeding a bit in several locations where the Goblins attacked the king.

While this was happening Robin was gathering the weapons of the Goblins in the waste rooms.

After the King killed the Goblins Beau threw several pouches of poison powder at the King while the bitchs were still not close to the king. The poison formed a cloud around him and made him start coughing.

After this the crew met up and went to the 'slaves' and united them. Mary shouted to them, "Today we four have attacked the monsters, we killed a large group of them, we made an even larger group of them ill and we severely weaken their king! All that's left if for you 'The Men' to pull your weight and help us finish them. The enemy is weakened and unarmed, we survived a battle with them, ARE ANY OF YOU MEN INCAPABLE OF TAKING A STAND NOW AND FAIL WHAT US WOMEN ACCOMPLISHED?!?"

Hearing this most of the men felt a fire burn as if their pride was on the line, the others who were less enthusiastic still prepared to fight. Robin who collected the weapons distributed them to each of the men.

Once they were all equipped with a suitable weapon the men all charged into the sports hall. As soon as they entered the hall they began attacking the Goblins who had dug out of the waste rooms.

Mary while overlooking the battle used a couple of confusion spells on the Goblins. Goblins, attacked by both the men and other Goblins, quickly began losing. The king hearing the commotion descended the mountain of corpses. Even though he was pale and still bleeding he lifted his great-sword and yelled, "HUMANZ YOU WILL PAY!"

Cheering could be heard as the bitchs on the mountain shouted, "Yay, kill them!" or "Why can't they just learn their lesson?" And other stupid shit.

The king was instantly surrounded by the men who weren't fighting any Goblins. After only getting a couple of hits off on the King the men surrounding him were all dead. Next some confused Goblins and reckless men attacked the king.

Of course they also died and after killing them the remaining Goblins started to panic because they didn't understand why the other Goblins attacked the king. While the Goblins were panicking the men killed them.

All that was left were the men and the king and the crew. The king roared as he got ready to start fighting again, however midway through roaring a knife slit his throat cutting off his roar and almost instantly another knife pierced the kings heart.

With disbelief on his face the Goblin turned around to see the cruelly smiling face of Mary who had assassinated him while his guard was down.

As he collapsed Mary heard a notification beep as the window appeared in front of her saying:

CONGRATULATIONS FOR BEING THE MOST DISTINGUISHED MEMBER OF THIS RAID YOU ARE AWARDED WITH ONE RANDOM CLASS ITEM.

An identical gacha to the skill gacha appeared in front of Mary and she selected yes. The wheel spun and landed on orange.

Illusory Reality - Orange - Def 10 - Mag Def 785 - Effect: The wearers illusion spells effects are doubled while their resistance to illusion spells are increased drastically. Mana consumption is also halved when using illusion spells but double for others. Max mana is tripled. A robe woven by a grandmaster tailor using silk produced by illusionary spiders, after being made a grandmaster enchanter spent two years to create the perfect the enchantments on the robe.

Seeing the effects Mary was awed. Only after the hearing another notification was Mary pulled away from the items specs. The notification told he that she had enough experience points to level up to level three and was eligible after leveling up would be able to get new skills.

Everyone else got similar notifications and only Mary and her crew decided not to level up as they found out that they could gain stat points by practicing and leveling up might make stat increases through practice harder.

After everyone came back to reality they remembered two important things, first the girls that were raped and second the bitchs that attended to the king, who were currently crying.

For the next few days the people got together and tried to plan for the future. However Mary and her crew wanted nothing to do with those discussions and instead planned what they wanted to achieve. Each of them saw the world for how it now was and that they would need strength to live a worthwhile life. They had decided to form a group with Mary as the leader.

After all was decided they all made their way out of the zone and towards the closest town. With Mary leading the group they arrived at the town. Along the way some monsters like direwolfs attacked the group but Mary dealt with them using confusion.

After arriving in town there was a gate set up that stopped any monsters and the like from entering. Once reaching the gate a man shouted, "Halt, who goes there."

As a response one of the teachers stepped forward to explain things and hearing that the college was liberated the voice panicked and shouted out, "Gwen? Is Gwen there? Is she safe?"

The girl in question was one of the rape victims and the teacher went to get the girl so he could explain what happened.

A month after entering the town Mary had become the towns pillar of strength and was able to lead a group to defend the city. They controlled the town and acted like the shadow ruler.

Years later Mary's crew had expanded to become the strongest guild in England and the top executives were Mary, Robin, Beau and Rachel. They were by no means a group of good people and under Mary's leadership they had become quite oppressive to anyone not under their control.
