3 Rose

"Rose", you said was your name.

You walked towards me

with confident strides.

You sat across me, crossed your legs,

and looked deeply into my eyes.

Your eyes shined starry bright,

reminding me of the days,

I used to stargaze all night.

Your cheeks were covered in a rosy tint,

reminding me of the uncanny resemblance of it

with your name.

I flushed pink;

When your faciem gave away the confused look.

Realising you have caught me,

drinking in your features.

Realising your face mirrored mine,

my first heart skipped a beat.

For you felt the same way I did.

I finally realised you too were shocked to have felt,

the tingles in your heart.

I shyly smiled

and whispered under my breath,

"It was nice to meet you Rose."
