Chapter 1

A man named Shawn Lightborn was an ex-military Soldier. After getting retired he studied medicine because of his love for his country and humanity. He worked hard, it took him 20 years of research but he had finally made a cure for cancer. He was going to announce the cure for cancer to public so that even poor people could afford, because his mother had died of cancer and he couldn't do anything due to there being no cure for it. Having made money by investing in stocks. He used his own money for the research but having restriction on the equipment and test subjects he had to get help from his ex-colleagues from military. And that was the cause of his doom. Just before he was going for the public announcement he got call from his friend as well as his superiors he used to work under, they wanted him to not give his formula to the public have it private to make money but he refused to do so. Human greed know no bounds as he was going to spot to his live conference his car was rammed by a truck and the next thing he knew he was on the hospital bed counting his last breaths. His friend came to him to ask for the formula because he had already destroyed all his research data, now all of it was in head only. He had his suspicions so he already made arrangements for his demise and he was also wearing a ring which had recorded his conversation with his 'friend' and the video will be uploaded to various social media platform with the formula for cancer so that all human will be able to benefit from it. So he refused all his friends suggestions and just died looking at him in eye with a mocking expression.

After he find himself in a white space with an old sitting in front of a TV drinking tea and watching movies of harry potter series. The old looks at him and says 'you have done a good deed which will help people in future and save many live, due to which you have earned a large amount of good karma. So i am giving you a second chance to live life peacefully and to have fun. So i will send you to a magical world where anything is possible with magic. And for your karma i will fullfill your wishes whatever they are so ask what do you want.' Shawn was first confused how he got here who is this old man but after listening to him, he understood he got a second chance to live without having any burdens. So he quickly gets into character and says: 'ok! So since its a magical world, give me highest affinity with magic. For my second wish give me one of those special storage space in which i could put anything and time is stopped in it. And for my third wish give me ability to heal everything, like literally anything wether it is physically or spiritual, and for fourth wish give me...'

'Woh! Woh! Woh! Stop there kid don't you think you are asking for too much! And from your thoughts you have like 100 wishes. Damn!'

Haha. Shawn scratches his head while giving a nervous laugh.

I thought i get to chose as much as i want as you said i have lots of karma to use. Haha!

Old man said: ' yes you have large amount of karma but almost all of it will be used to send you to that world so there won't be that much remaining so no i can't give that many things, but can chose three things and as you just named three of them i will give you those'

You get your high affinity with magic your storage space and your heal ability, and as bonus i will also give chance to set your appearance and background but not to over the top.

Shawn was depressed alittle that he can't get more he quickly cheered up after magic came to his mind and all he could do with. Because as the old man had said there are endless possibilities with magic.

So now i get to set my appearance and back groud

Then sudden old man waved his hand and a virtual screen came in from of shawn.

Shawn quickly get to work. He set his hair as silvery white with red eyes and handsome face.(yah! He had seen a lot of fictions and choose best features from multiple people).

His hair reaches his anckles. Well built body with compact muscle not too bulky but abit more then a body which is considered lean.

After looking at his work and being satisfied with it he look at the old man with the beard.

So you're finished? Good then tell me what do you want with your back groud?

Shawn says: i want to be born in a family which is rich and have influence in society and there shouldn't be other inheritors in it so yah me along would suffice.

The next moment he couldn't see anything. Everything was dark.
