Ch.30 Follow the Butterflies pt.1

A few weeks have passed since Hermione has been petrified and I have been visiting here with friends but today I was there alone because I needed to take that parchment away from Hermione.

If Harry gets the parchment he won't need me. He will be able to act on his own and I won't be able to explain what was I doing in the chambers or how I knew about it.

So it was necessary that the parchment away. I reached the hospital wing and I sat next to Hermione and I took the parchment out of her hand and put it in my robes. I then looked at her and said "I am sorry for doing this but I must do this."

I then heard "You are here as well?" I turned around and saw Harry and Ron and I stood up and said "Just visiting Harry, I am leaving."

I got up and was headed for the door when I heard "Stop." I stopped and turned around and Harry said "We need your help."

I said, "You need my help with what?"

Harry looked hesitant so Ron said, "We need your help finding this monster that is responsible for all these attacks."

I sighed and said, "I am doing my best but I can't just seem to pinpoint it." I then sighed and said, "If you can tell anything more than that I know I might be able to help you, I might be able to help us all."

Harry said "Fine, we are telling you this because Hermione trusts you and we don't have any other options."

He then explained how Harry had seen this vision of who opened the chamber with the help of the diary and that the diary told him that it was Hagrid and I said "No Hagrid can't do it he's way too simple to pull something like this. Something is just fishy. Where did you find this diary?"

Harry said, "I found it in the second-floor girl's toilet."

I asked, "What were you doing in the girl's toilet." Harry was a bit ashamed.

So Ron said, "It was flooded so we wanted to investigate it."

I then said, "So both of you are planning on visiting Hagrid?"

Harry said, "Yes, we are and if you want to help you should come with us."

In my mind, I was like 'F*ck no I don't want to go anywhere near Aragog.' But I can't say that so I said: "I will come with you."

Ron then asked, "But how will we sneak past everyone."

Harry said, "He can get the Cloak from my sister and can do the disillusionment charm on himself like last year."

So he members what I can and can't do. We then decided that we will meet after the dinner was over and we would then go straight to Hagrid. We would meet outside the Griffindor House since it is easier for me to get to them.

(During the feast)

I was sitting with Victoria and Daphne and I said to them "Make some excuse for me I will need to go to the forest today."

Victoria grunted and pinched me and said, "Why do you want to go to the forest does the monster in the castle not interest you anymore?"

I faked a smile and said, "Damit Coco let go of me" She let go and I said, "Your brother has some clues as to who is the one behind the attacks, so I am helping him find the culprit."

Daphne was surprised and said, "Is there someone else who is also an Heir?"

I said, "I don't know how many more bastards there are of my father."

Daphne said, "Don't use those words."

I said, "I am sorry, I don't know how many more of my father's illegitimate children are wandering on about."

Daphne said, "Don't be an ass."

I sighed and said "I am sorry, it's just that I am stressed, one wrong move and I am in Azkaban. So I must tread lightly."

Victoria said, "If you are going, make sure all of you come alive."

I said, "Coco there are only a few things that might come close to killing me and none of them is in the forest."

Daphne said "Don't be cocky Jon. we are worried."

I said, "Don't be, I will be back with his brother and his friend without a scratch I promise."

(Outside the Griffindore house)

I entered it with the help of Harry, he had told me the password so I used the cloak to get in they were near the fireplace and the common room was not filled with people most of the people were in the room and I walked up to them and said "Do not make a sound. It's me take me to your room and I will give you the cloak."

Once I got to their room I asked "Why does your room look like it was robbed?"

Harry said, "Because it was, someone stole the diary."

I then gave them the cloak and said "I will need to return it today, so please be careful." They both nodded and I used the disillusionment charm and we got out of the castle easily even though it took some time.

We reached the cabin and Hagrid opened the door he had a giant crossbow in his hand and Harry, Ron and I revealed ourselves and Hagrid put the crossbow down and sighed in relief

And Harry asked, "What's that for?"

Hagrid said "That doesn't matter, Come on in. I just made a pot of tea."

We entered his shack and he poured us some tea and Harry asked "Hagrid are you okay?"

Hagrid looked a lit shook and said "I'm fine. I'm all right."

Harry asked, "Did you hear about Hermione?"

Hagrid said in a low tone "Yes, I heard about her."

Harry then resolved himself and asked "We need to ask you something. Do you know who opened the chamber of secrets?"

Hagrid was about to answer when we heard a knock on the door and I made my way to the corner and used the charm and was perfectly still and Harry and Ron also covered themselves in the cloak.

He then went to open the door and found Dumbledore and Fudge he then greeted them.

Hagrid asked "Why are you here Minister?" and the things happened as they did movies and books. They accused Hagrid and Dumbledore tried to persuade fudge but he didn't budge then enter Malfoy.

That pompous prick waltz into his home disrespected Hagrid and gave the letter of suspension to Dumbledor. I don't much care for Dumbledor but Hagrid is an amazing person and it hurts when bad things happen to good people.

Dumbledor said "Calm yourself, Hagrid. If the governors desire my removal... I will, of course, step aside."

He then walked forward and said "However, ...you will find that help will always be given at Hogwarts...to those who asked for it" and looked at Harry and Ron and when he was leaving he looked at me as well. I mean I worked hard on this charm. How did he figure it out?

Dumbledor and Malfoy left and Fudge said "Come Hagrid."

Hagrid then said "Yep, if anybody was looking for some stuff all they have to do is follow the spiders. That's all I have to say." and he walked and said, "Oh and someone needs to feed Fang." And all of them left the house.

Ron said, "Hagrid is right with dumbledor gone there will be an attack a day."

Harry then said "Look" and pointed at many spiders and said, "We need to follow them, come on fang."

And I know there are many people who will argue the decision with taking the parchment away from Hermione but it was the only way that I can think of at the time, to put Mc with Harry in the chambers together.
